Everyone says how good the Rex is. And yeah. I'm gonna suck this guy off too. The Rex is basically ARK's right of passage of you want to defeat the bosses and get to the fancy Tek. If there was a tier list for ARK's creatures from S to F, I would have to make a God tier for it and some other dinos. However, I am gonna stop saying my praise there. Despite all the good in the Rex, I feel as if it is the most... generic of the apexes. It has a huge health pool, but the Giga's is larger. It is decently fast and does alot of damage, but the Spino does more damage, and is faster and more agile. The Rex has its pooplock roar, but the Yuty has its fear and courage roars. Now, this isn't me hating on the Rex. I love it as much as the next guy. But I feel as if it needs to step out of the spotlight for a bit to give others the chance to shine.

It’s way bigger than a rex and it spawns in abberation so rexs should spawn in abberation as an abberant rex

Farm some metal on redwood then suddenly found rex with lvl 150, lucky me

When you are a high level it’s pretty easy to kill. Gets a fly mount, pump melee (screw stamina find a place to land) and spam attack. But this makes it a stupid derp that can easily be killed. Not a formidable, fearsome carnivore. And it doesn’t feel like it’s real or good. :(

First get a cross bow go on a huge stone keep shooting it put spikes around it then give it meat then wait and BOOOOOOOM you tamed a rexy 🌚

The way I tame Rexes is to go out on a tapejara and a bow and tranq arrows. Cling onto the side of a cliff and non stop pump it with tranqs. Throw some raw meat in so it starts the taming process and quickly go and kill stego or something else to get raw prime.

i got one of these with a high lvl stuck in my house and couldn't get i kept shooting until it went down but it took a very long time to tame

Jump from a cliff to its back and crouch. It will try to attack you but can't. Then knock it out with any thing. Hands,tranq dart, tranq arrows, etc. Have a nice day

REmember to keep this little sh@t on passive while fighting a level 100 alpha carno thats on 200 health

I knocked a lvl 30 with some clubs, it’s was a boosted server, but the torpor it took was still the same, it was not that hard

My Rex was tamed by the river near the green obelisk, and you want to know how I trapped her? I literally stood on top of a rock that she could have easily reached, and shot her with tranq darts. She just stood there. Doing nothing. Debbie was an extremely easy tame.
