My experience with trying to knock out a level 156 Rex.

I went to Carnivore island (The little island on the top right of the island map) along with 1 tribe mate. All we needed to do was run around-sometimes dodging around rocks and shooting. We had 150% speed with Journeyman xbows and we went through no more than 20 tranq arrows. Just run around turn and shoot. Make sure you keep some distance before shooting so you don’t allow time for the Rex to get you. I hope this helps! - doubah.

So when breeding any animal after you imprint it put it in a cryopod and it increases their melee by quite a bit and this does work with any dino

One time a rex on ragnorok killed all my dinos and my base then it attacked a bronco and there were like 3 of them so it died and I was sad because I wanted to tame it but it was dead so I fixed up my base.

Get on top of a rock that u r sure the Rex cannot get up. Bring the Rex over. Place gates around its back so it can’t get out. Tranq and feed. Voila

Fun facts:

Real tyrannosaurs almost certainly had feathers somewhere on their bodies, probably in a ruff around the neck like a lion and perhaps brightly coloured in males, and they are thought to have made booming noises like an emu or honked like a goose, they also had very blunt broad teeth and very powerful jaws, as they mainly killed by crushing instead of slicing.

Well at low level there pretty slow so keep your distance and keep firing at them or let them get stuck on something

Is easy just keep it for water and if you have a high advantage you are sure to tame it I got my first rex by doing this and I got it when I was level 25! Now I am level 30 and my rex is level 20 and make sure you have some Prime meat if have Tranquilizer arrows you are set!

I tamed one on lvl28 I used a crossbow and some tranq arrows It is eazy If you até dar away and he is atacking domething

So first you must get prepared food primemeat kibble meats and the taming part so go on high lands get your Rex attentoin shoot it and shoot it more until she’s or he’s knocked out and and stuff food in its mouth and it get it’s saddle.

It's pretty easy to kite a T-Rex with a decently fast mount that allows you to use weapons and then tranq them out.

This is not a hard tame get highground and just tranq it out

I just took a primitive sword barely survived

When I was taking mine I don't have enough Trang darts and arrows so I used a club it was already running

Easiest dino tame! I wish the Devs can make Rexes a little bit more difficult to tame. No challenge at all.

The way I do it as I use a rock drake from aberration it’s Jump and glide can get me away quickly and the fact that I can shoot at the Rex while still on my mount work great. The invisibility of the Rock drake also allows me to get that crucial first shot without it bum rushing me
