Encountering Tips

How do I kill a rex? rex battling strategies in ARK: Survival Evolved.
So there are average rexes. They drop meat, prime meat, hide, and keratin. There are tek rexes. They drop scrap metal, oil, electronics, and element dust. There are alpha rexes. They drop tons of prime, cool loot, and some hide and keratin. So tell me: WHY ARE THERE NO ALPHA TEK REXES THAT DROP POLYMER??? thank you for your time happy hunting
Once me and my friends were terrified of Rex, and one came stomping near our base. So we grabbed all our Dino's and it was anticlimactic as we pretty much killed it instantly. Don’t be scared of rex.
I just found one near my base wish me luck and any tips
Them: low level can not kill it.
Me: stands on cliff and shoots it with a bow
Me: goes from level 10 to 25
Nobody:
Everbody: Use gates and stuff
Me: *uses a cliff*
Don't go near them without a plan learned the hard way
Rexes can be found in the forests, redwoods, and mountains.
To kill:
Step one: get a longneck/crossbow (crossbow takes longer)
Step two: get on a high cliff make sure nothing is around it
Step three: then just shoot it in the head for some reason in mobile it wont see you if youre high enough ive done it my self it works.
I had to knock out a 135 rex out with a slingshot. On day three. I had used my crossbow, two other bows, and all of my tranq arrows. I had absolutely no choice, but to knock him out with a slingshot. It took many stones and tears. But somewhere around 150 stones wasted, I knocked him down fed him, and he was tamed.
It wont aggress you when you are riding a mount
This things are OP. In valguero, the only things that can kill it once it is tamed are gigas, rock golems and wyverns. But if you have a Rex and you don’t see any of these nearby, don’t worry at all. Pls up if you think this is true
Just don’t go around one unless you’re crazy
Once I spawned in and there was a black rex right in front of me. It just looked at me and then dicided to kill me. It could not have been more successful.
Incase this helps anyone, on ark mobile there is some near East zone 1
Why are rexes usually found in the arctic? It’s the coldest place and the most dangerous (besides swamp, maybe).
Bruh, yall wrong. Real men knock this beast out with fist
THIS IS HOW YOU EASILY BEAT AN APLHA TREX,
Lure alpha trex into the middle of the ocean by carrying a herbivore app in the talons of an Argentavis (I used a Parasaurolophus) then use an aquatic mount like Beelzebufo or megalodon to bite the alpha Rex to death, with the water mounts increased speed underwater it can easily evade trex attacks
If you don’t know where they live they live in red woods maybe near swamps because I saw near a swamp in north and that it
Um normal spinos give more Xp than normal rex but alphas give more xp than normal spino and spino has lesser health just beware of the spino speed.
for some reason when rex spot you they target you only they ignore the sabertooths, argies, and pulmos
