When you are a high level it’s pretty easy to kill. Gets a fly mount, pump melee (screw stamina find a place to land) and spam attack. But this makes it a stupid derp that can easily be killed. Not a formidable, fearsome carnivore. And it doesn’t feel like it’s real or good. :(

The way I tame Rexes is to go out on a tapejara and a bow and tranq arrows. Cling onto the side of a cliff and non stop pump it with tranqs. Throw some raw meat in so it starts the taming process and quickly go and kill stego or something else to get raw prime.

Jump from a cliff to its back and crouch. It will try to attack you but can't. Then knock it out with any thing. Hands,tranq dart, tranq arrows, etc. Have a nice day
