On Lost Island, I found a few on the border of the Red woods and the Snowy Biome

Usually found these in redwood near red obelisk

The last time I tried to get quetzal I accidentally deleted my ark survival evolved then I had to redownload it then well I lost all my work and my question Rex's and literally everything around if you have a phone tablet or computer that you're playing ark survival evolved on make sure to lock it to your brother doesn't get into it

I have seen one by the red obelisk was quite hard to tame kept going over the water and swamp (I leave near red obelisk just tamed one believe it's hard to tame one I used argy).

I found a quetzal near the snowy waterfall. It spawned before my eyes.

On the center quetzels spawn at blue and red obelisks, they also spawn in jungle mid

I found one in the middle of the ocean as I was flying on my pteranodon.

I’ve searched around the red obelisk for like an hour straight and none spawned :(

These guys pretty much spawn anywhere on the map except the artic and I think redwoods. They are almost always high up in the sky so you can't shoot it from the ground maybe if you can shoot it with a chain bola if lucky but your gonna have to get a flyer if you want to kill or tame a queaztal

I've seen a couple max levels around the alpha plains on the island

Found 2 of them just now at the mountain near green obelisk along with a titan, chase down 1 quetz so far and it fell near a mountain beside the snowy region, had to give regular meat since i dont want to risk myself dying getting a prime meat, the quetz was around 80%done and its level 68.. wanted to fasten the process so i went scouting for easy prime meat dino and got some..saw alpha carno along the way also and when i came back to my future quetz....i saw a damn alpha raptor eating my sleeping beautiful quetz🥰 #fml

I kill it and revived it. Easy 👍

If you cannot find them a red ( you probably will) go the hidden lake on the island and if not there try the mountain bottom right of it

I was bringing a newly tamed diploma to my base when I saw a big bird shadow I looked up there was a Quetzal hovering over South zone 1 spawn even tho I've been playing for 10 min

There is a quetz hotspot on ragnarok 44.0 59.9

When I tried to revive a wild one at my base I made a big cage and when it spawned it disappeared immediately after. I’m not happy.

Try red ob I found 3 in 1 game day warning only male spawn

So let me tell you a little story so I had a quest telling me to tame a quetzal

And I was a good level for the saddle but boy was I not thinking I had argent with me and my grapple and was ready but the quetzal I was taming got away and then my argent was stuck in the air he could follow because I had him not to follow me and then I wanted to come back for him/or her I don’t remember but when I came back........it was gone

I saw one of these stuck in a rock but didnt have any narcotics on me. Upvøte so people can see and prepare
