Travel to Red Obb

Press Tidy Save, one should spawn in. If not desired lvl travel Out of its render zone and press tidy save again.

Repeat until you get the lvl you want

I would recommend grappling on to argy if your solo or having a friend pull while you shoot. If you have a griffin then I would just shoot from it’s back you don’t even need to be in passenger seat

Here's an easy way to tame a quetz:get rare flowers and lots of tranq arrows or darts,get lots of narcotics and make sure u don't miss,aim for headshots,lure quetz into trap with 2-3 behemoth gateways and gates,then start the process,use prime meat,mutton,or superior kibble,and we'll done u have tamed a quetz

Get a journeymen longneck riffle and darts with tapajar tell it to target the qwetz and shoot

Get 3000 stamina and you can fly across the map like 5 times with this

On Ragnarok map they fly low and get stuck on terrain easily. Grab a Griffin and you should be able to solo tame easy.

When you tame a quetzal it will be easier to find one but for those who doesn't know where quetzal its spawn near the red obelisks at the beach or the water i have 5 quetzal hopes this helps

If you're taming on Gen2, just follow it until it's over a mountain. Net it down at mountain peaks, where danger dinos don't spawn

Quetzals have an enormous knock back effect when they attack.

For solo tame grapple your argie then instead of having to mess with attack and passive use the follow my target button and just aim for the quetz this will take a long time but no damage will be done to the quetz by your argie

U really dont need to use hook. U need a tapejara. When u find a quetzal u should change seats and make ur tapejara attack to quetzal by whistle. U will knock it out when tapejara chases it.

Quetz like to spawn near the red obelisk, but I have found by following them that they take the same route to the red woods back to the red obelisk, I have followed 7.

Often spawns at the world origin point (0,0) on the island, also around the green obelisk. CAN be chain bola'd although the options for doing this are somewhat sketchy. To solo tame you will either need to goad it into a trap as it flees, use a tapejara and dismount into the second saddle, or ride a paraceretherium or bronto w/ ballista turret attached up the mountain to try and trap it that way. You can also grappling hook onto a slow flyer like argentavis and shoot it with tranqdarts that way!
