These are not really dangerous if they are unburied, but if they are buried, they will either stun you or your mount. It may not be a problem if it’s only the Purlovia in the area, but most likely it’s not only.

I was in the snow biome with my Royal Griffin, killing an alpha T-rex, when all of a sudden this thing jumped out and stunned my griffin. Nothing good came out of this, the griffin was killed by the alpha T-rex and a couple spinos and shortly after, I died too. Thankfully I had nothing valuable in my inventory, but my griffin died and there’s not much I can do.

Never fly low in the snow or redwoods unless well prepared for dismounting and stunning.

To take one of these things out, bring at least two raptors and two rexs. I know its overkill but plenty of experience will tell you it’s better than underkill.

Be VERY VERY careful, try to keep and eye out for little mounds on the floor, these guys pounce out when you least expect, very dangerous especially when you realise that other dinos are treats, especially ALPHA CARNOS, I'm speaking from experience trust me

Never walk on a mound of dirt if you do prepare to die

When they're underground they have a little mound over them so look out for those in the redwood biome

My level 88 raptor could kill a level 50 purlovia with some points put into health (it’s at abt ~1000 health). Stay vigilant and buff health to combat these, they’re very fast!

They're dangerous but don't have the best health. If you're attacked by one, your best bet is to fight it because if you have high damage weapons (a sword, at the least) you will probably be able to kill it.

If you see one try to get a smaller Dino to go after it than get on a pillar than killit or Trang it

You can find these in the radiation zone of aberation red . Just saying watch out for theses guys when exploring or getting first rock Drake egg because if you on your high level ravager and your getting chased by reaper queen then one of theses pops out and dismounts you and Stuns your pet. All I can say is your doomed.

THEY KNOCK OUT YOUR TAME AND KICK YOU OFF I was a noob just doing a explorer note quest, I was scared I had never in been in the redwoods I didn’t really know it was dangerous beside some carnos I saw in the swap but then I got jump scared, logged off when I came back it hadn’t saved so I felt what must have been the best feeling I had ever felt my stuff had lived everything I had worked for my stupid flimsy hide armor and a level 13 PT but I had some food I guess

There ARE creature spawn maps. Try the MAPS tab and stop complaining about stuff you haven't checked.

I found one on the flat beach next to the swamp next to the redwoods.

The threat from these are real. These in random with dire wolfs are deadly, almost lost a 270 argy to this as they will knock you off your bird

Easy to spot in snow because the ground their hiding under is brown instead of white. Be careful because I tried picking up with quetz and got dismounted from his attack.
