Me and my Pteranodon we’re flying in the snow and I noticed an item cache on the ground. So I flew down and dismounted my Pteranodon and I grabbed the items from the cache, but while I was getting the items I was attacked by an Argentavis and my Pteranodon was on attack target so it attacked the Argentavis. The Argentavis and my Pteranodon fought and they both flew high in the air and I couldn’t reach my Pteranodon so I killed myself and spawned at my base where I had another Pteranodon and I flew to my other Pteranodon but by the time I reached it, it dropped down dead to the floor. He was my strongest flyer and my best friend. 😓😣

Me and my best friend mark (pteranodon) where out looking for sure bears for pelt so me and my brother could go to the artic when I was flying by a swamp all the sudden a kapro jumps out of the water and tears me apart and all I see is mark getting torn up then he was dead. RIP Mark you will always be remembered

Once I had one named boomie we were flying over the volcano and a player knocked him out mid air and we fell and burnt

I had an OP Pteranodon once upon a time. She's SilkWing, the Assassin. She got no mutations, just by leveling up, I eventually got her into 10k health, 3k stam, 400+ weight, and a freakin' 1.4k melee. With her, I perfected my Hit-and-Run tactic and she can handle most of the things we're fighting, even a mf Giga. I deleted the world she's in unfortunately...

I tamed a max level 150 pteranodon and this was was when the game first came out and I got in a fight with a Level 10 spino I died not knowing what happened to him I looked everywhere still couldn’t find. Then just yesterday I went back on the server that I made a few years and just flying around on my quetzal I saw his name and I went to check on him he had a spino sail in knew that he was ok because I didn’t see a death note anywhere. I glad he is okay after all these years.

I was going to tame up a tickle chicken and I decided to land my pteranodon on top of a tall rock we’re it would be safe. Off course when I dismounted I fell and he would react to any of my whistles as he was to high up. I then tried braking the rock but he just started floating. I ended up spending way too much time getting close enough to him via building and avoiding the three raptors and a Carmo that we’re camping right under it to get him back. Unfortunately he got killed in the way back home by an Alfa raptor as I was getting a stupid crate.

I had a Pteranodon named Petra who was lvl 31. We were best buddies, traveling everywhere on the map, having several close calls and bringing home plenty of monkeys and snails. Sadly, when I was going to go grab an otter I saw on the coast, I accidentally dismounted near a Theziosaurus (Idk how to spell it hHh) and it decided to attack me.

Long story short, Petra died, Thezio was now being mauled by a Rex nearby (HAH), I was running to grab Petra's stuff before the rex or Thezio noticed me and the Otter was just watching all this murder go down.

R.I.P Petra 😔, but I have a new Pteranodon named Stripes who is currently a lvl 8.

So i am kinda new to ark (i Know im late) and recently hit level 38 and decided its time to go into the air, so i bolad a pteranodon and hit him on the head. And then he fell down, and right before i tamed him my game crashed. Didnt save the progress, but i have one now.

Whatever you do, don’t put this dino on passive flee

Once something hits it, it will fly up to the sky and stay up there forever. You could use tranqs, but it doesn’t always work that well. One time my pteranodon, perry. got attacked by a dino. It was night but I think it was a raptor. And petty flew up. And I was out of tranqs. So I just left it there. Never to see it again

Earlier today I tamed a level 95 pteradon with the best stats possible. He has VERY STAMINA and HIGH weight, the only two things a pteradon needs! And those stats were taken out of oxygen and food, the two most useless stats in the game.

i have my lvl 92 ptera from grinding diplo and i decide to mkae shotgun and some bullets so i have to test it out i go out with my ptera and i saw some scorpions in redwood biome so the excited me land to the ground not checking for predators and a pack of allosaur with an alpha bite the sh*t out of my ptera lucky me i put my pts all to stamina and speed but i ran up to a rex so haha there goes my 20stack of meat

I tamed. A leval 145 and dude I lost it to a kaprochas so ya don’t fly low in the swamp or you will be dead

I once had a pteranodon named Sky. He was red with light green wings. Once I was able to craft a saddle, I whipped one up and put it on him. We traveled and traveled and traveled. I went all the way from the herbivore island, our home, to the blue obelisk and back with him. One day, we went to the eastern swamp to get chitin for a pelegornis saddle and I had been killed by a titanoboa. I respawned in my bed and knew what had to be done. I had tame requested Sky home millions of times, once being a time when I tried to tame a Rex at too low of a level, but he made it home safely, this was different. I watched the sky over the sea, looking in the direction of the swamp. Then, I saw it and my heart sank.

Days later, I rode home on Icthy (take a wild guess at what he is) to tame request my brand new bronto to my home. When Little Foot appeared, it was almost dark. I went into my house and took one last look at the towering dino and at Bumpy, my ankylosaurus and Raptor Red, my utahraptor. I looked out the window at all of my tames and found myself missing him.

I was playing on The Island and I fell into water with my ptera and there was a carno and my ptera killed the carno and I named it Carno Killer

CREATURE DOSSIERS :Pteranodon.

This flying creature is a carnivore, even though it mantains a passive stance toward humans even if attacked. It can be found on beaches, and it isn't quite fast at flying.

I have tamed a pteranodon during my first days on the ark, and I can say they help a lot with safe travel far from the dangers of the land.

So most of the terradons that I usually have, do you have pretty bad stamina.. here’s what I mean by most I have this PT called fern star they are my ride or die. PT like I literally managed to find them in every single game. I play type of PT. amazing stamina, amazing damage and shockingly fast. and always comes with that beautiful fern, green with really dark, green stripes and Stardust yellow wings!!!! me and him are basically soul besties!!!

Once when I started playing ark I spawned on starter island and I saw a dark blue and red and yellow pteranodon. It was dark blue base red stripes and yellow belly, I tried taming and I did I was like level 10 but a STUPID SPINO KILLED ME AND MY PTERANODON.
