How do I tame a phoenix? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a phoenix.

Find a Phoenix during a heat wave and follow it until the event ends, marking where it turns into ashes. Build a covered trap around the ashes so it reappears there during the next heat wave, then use a flamethrower, fire arrows, oil jars, or a Fire Wyvern to burn it until it is tamed.
trap the phoenix and use so many oil jars and with like 2-1 flame arrow because the tame will gonna be SUPER FAST
To tame you have to keep hitting it and don't get too close
