Who else thinks there should be a color region for fire, so you can get mutations of it

command for wild phoenix doesn't work on maps without heatwave like valguero, only tamed command works for maps like taht

Please, let’s take a moment to appreciate the justice these guys were finally given in ascended. They can land and have different fire colors! No more cyan phoenixes with ugly orange flames now we can have cyan flames!

I don't know if this is ture but after watching some ASA Phoenix taming, I almost felt like they needed the process. In several videos people were able to tame pretty decent levels in shorter time than ASE

You can use the new bobs tall tales gene scanner to find it with no heatwave going. I have found 3 on the map at one time with this. Once you found the spot using the gene scanner use a cryo to lock on to it to find its exact location underground then build your trap over the top of it. Then ice trapped go to town on it with your fire wyvern.

It would be cool if phoenix would spawn on the desert ark on extinction

Baby phoenix eat sulfur. Put the phoenix in a Maewing or maeguana and throw a bunch of sulfer in the inventory and you’ll be good to go.

I feel like once it dies it should explode into a ball of fire (not damaging any thing in your tribe obviously)

A little truth: phoenix and featherlight share the same base model, but with different textures obviously, so phoenixes are just burning featherlights, and bigger of course.

You literally pelt it with arrows, light it up with a Wyvern, or shower it in flame
