I'm not quite sure but mine can not land. I can ride my phoenix but it cannot land. Btw they cook raw meat and smelt metal in their inventory.

Cooks rae meat in its inventory at the same rate as an indy grill, and smelts metal at the same rate as an indy forge. Also MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A CRAP TON OF SULFUR cuz this bugger doesnt eat meat, it exclusively eats sulfur

Can use fire wyvren insted of arrows.

Can be ridden without a saddle, has a fireball attack, a dash attack that burns everything near it, a bite attack, and a talon attack.

They can’t breed so if your lucky enough to find one of these treat it with care

By the way guys this thing cooks all the raw meat in its inventory automatically

You can easily fly around maps with this bugger

You can use a Stryder with the sonar attachment to find their general location without being in a heatwave

If u want to spawn the phoenix by command:

admincheat summon Phoenix_Character_BP_C

Only appear in heat waves, reappear in the same spot they were last heat wave, taming carries over from heat wave to heat wave. Possible taming methods include using a griffin and a flame thrower, tapping its pile of ashes in between heat waves, and chasing it down with a fire wyvern.

You can flame thrower at it and it is faster

Use fire wyvern to tame it...Hard to use fire weapons as it doesn't seem to land

You can use the wynern to breath fire on it and follow it round during the heatwave it makes easier to trame without using a random flyar and hit it with a trouch

Contrary to online claims it CANNOT be revived if it dies and you try to “pick up the ashes and place them somewhere where the baby can be reborn during a heatwave”

Fastest flyer around when using spacebar, quite iod at farming obsidian and sulfur with its C; also it craps pearls because its fabulous

Honestly I just hit it with a fire wyvern until it either drops or gets tamed, I mean it's a pain to tame but who doesn't want A Moltres? Trapping it gives me a headache and your character doesn't have to do jack so realistically a stam wyvern is the play. Do I like them? No. Does Silica, Cooked Meat, and Metal go brrrrrrrr? Yes. I'd rate this tame and tame method a solid 6/10 (Unique but really just and indiforge with a twist or some clout showing you have too much time to spend... Easiest way to tame a pheonix for me. Tame a pyromane, take otnto scorched, make a gene scanner find the pheonix build a trap, check youtube its easy, when it comes out spam bite attack, let it heal for a bit then spam again. Very easy. Im sure wyverns are probably good also but, its alot easier to get a pyromane then a wyvern. I did it with a pyromane and tamed it within 1 storm. Also bonus to this method. No need for armour or anything as the pyromane keeps you safe from the heat.
