Chapter 25b: The Bosses
Part 2/3: The Megapitcheus
“So… one boss down, and two to go. That’s good, and we still have plenty of Rexes. But here’s the problem.” Red said from the front of the table. Sodden, Serenity and Rod sat near him. “What problem? It’s fine, right?” Sodden said. “It’s not with our creatures. It’s with the location of the terminal itself!” Red exclaimed. “Oh, yeah. I see that. How will we get past them?” Sodden said. “They’d definitely not want us near after what happened earlier. We just gotta tell them that we’re just here for a boss fight.” Red said. “But how? They might just start attacking us instantly and not let us talk.” Rod said. “Okay, maybe we can do something. They might know we’re just here for a boss fight and let us in to the terminal podium. We’ll be teleported to the Megapitcheus arena and then come back and leave. They can just pretend nothing ever happened.” Red said. “Well, that needs to work. We don’t have a lot of time. It’s past 2 in the afternoon.” Sodden said. “Wait, you’re suggesting we ascend before sundown?” Serenity said. “Yeah. So we stay cool in our first hours at Scorched Earth. All of us, except for Serenity, will lose our levels, engrams, and XP. Because she’s connected to a creation of the Prime Heart, her levels are permanent, so they will not be taken away even with ascension. It’ll be night when we get there, and we’ll have some time to set things up.” Sodden said. “That makes sense.” Rod said deeply, looking at his implant. “Rod… something wrong?” Sodden asked. Rod shot a glare at Sodden and said, “Nothing… nothing, dude. Heh.” Rod chuckled. “Okay… Red, now that the plan is set, why don’t we go now?” Sodden asked. “Yeah. I guess. But first, I want to check on Denine.” Red said as he got up from his seat and walked upstairs. He walked to the spiral stairs just across from the stairs connecting the first floor to the second, and the spiral stairs went to the third floor. Red walked right, towards a room that stretched from the base towards the volcano’s steep slope. He opened the door and there were beds set out along the room. A row of 10 beds on each side of the room, with a large cabinet on the other end of the room. On one of the beds, Paul sat on it, and lying on the bed was Denine. Red walked to them, and Paul looked up to see Red. “Hey. How’s she doing?” Red asked. “Pretty good. She’s pretty badly bruised, her implant was slightly damaged, but she’s mostly stable.” Paul said. There were bandages along her arms, and around her chest. “Well, at least she’s fine. Hopefully she doesn’t get attacked again while the others are gone.” Red said. “Yeah. And that other dude from Nameless, he just bled out over the course of like 15 minutes until he died.” Paul said. “Well… don’t forget to tell them to say bye to us before they leave.” Denine said. “I will. Don’t worry.” Red said as he picked up her right hand. Then he put it down and walked out of the room. He went down to the first floor. “Okay, if you need to replenish on food or anything, do it now!” Red yelled as he ran to the castle door. Sodden and the others nodded.
After a few minutes, everyone in the fight was outside of the castle. Sodden, Rod, and Serenity held some cryopods, 3 each. Each one had a Rex in it. Rod held 3 more. Dorack held the last 6. Red had the Daedon and Sodden had the Yuty. The group took some cryopods out then threw them at the ground. The cryopods opened and some Argies came out. Red got on the front one, and Sodden and the others got on the ones behind him. “Okay. We’ll just approach the base without anyone seeing then tell any guards around that we’re just here for the boss fights. You got the tributes, right?” Red asked. Dorack nodded. “Okay. Let’s go.” Red said. The Argies lifted their feet off the ground and took off. They flew towards the Blue Obelisk.
3 hours before Ascension…
The Argies flew to the base of Whitesky peak after around 10 minutes then started flying upwards. They flew up the slope to avoid being seen. Then they went towards the rocks that encased the path up and followed the path. After some time, they reached the tip to see 10 people standing outside the gate, which was wide open. “Oh, look who’s here.” Someone growled. “The terminal device is just straight ahead. Put your Argies down please.” Someone else said. Red nodded then all the Argies flew down to the ground. They put the fliers in the cryopods then walked towards the gate. The gate led into a large room, with stairs and pillars on the sides and a large spiral on the top of the ceiling. There was a large door across from the gate that led to a massive dome. The group walked to it and saw the terminal podium in the center. Then before the group could use any cryopods, someone walked into the room, wearing some ascendant fur armor. It was Cordor. He had to wear only the ascendant since he was a measly Level 3 and couldn’t carry much. “We’ve decided you can leave. We won’t do anything to Nudon when you ascend, but you must promise me one thing. You took away something we loved dearly. I will stop attacking you guys if you get me something like Gunner. He was 100% imprinted, Level 311. He had 39000 HP and 498% melee. There’s only one thing that could top that. A Reaper King. Get me one and that’s it.” Cordor growled. “Well… that does mean losing all levels since it will just burst out of you and kill you almost instantly… so… it might delay leaving Aberration by a little bit, but if that’s gonna get you to stop hurting my friends, then we’ll think of a way.” Sodden said. Rod started growling quietly and made a small grin. Cordor scoffed and stormed away. “Okay, let’s do this.” Dorack said. The group nodded then started putting out their Rexes in a circle around the terminal, until 18 of them surrounded the device, including the Yutyrannus, which Sodden sat on, and the Daedon, which Red sat on. Rod and Serenity both sat on two Rexes, who sat in front of Sodden and his Yuty. Dorack stood in front of the terminal along with Red. Dorack put the Artifact of the Pack, the Artifact of the Devious, and the Artifact of the Brute, along with the tributes, into the terminal. Then the screen showed the three boxes, each one being a Megapitcheus difficulty. “Okay. So… Most of our Rexes are like 90% healed, but the Megapitcheus does a lot of damage with that rock throw. And don’t fall into that ice pit or it’s curtains for you. The plan is simply just to lead the Megapitcheus to us. Sodden will shoot it once and it’ll run at us. Then Dorack and Rod will lead their group around the Megapitcheus to attack it from the back. Sodden and Serenity will lead their group to attack the Megapitcheus from the front. Ready?” Red asked. Everyone nodded. Red then clicked the red button and an alarm went off. The terminal showed a countdown. “Teleporting to Alpha Megapitcheus in 30 seconds.” Then the gate closed just then. Everyone above the terminal was running downstairs so they wouldn’t get teleported on accident. “Teleporting in 10… 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1… Transportation initiated!” Then suddenly, a large blue ball of light appeared around the group.. It spun around faster and faster until it collapsed then compressed everyone into energy particles, being contained by the blue ball. Then it launched from the terminal, going through the ceiling and through the obelisk’s light. Then it reached the top and left the Ark’s force field, then traveled to the pole that held the Megapitcheus. It flew towards it quickly, and the light could be seen from below. Ark survivors were looking up, and seeing the light streak, which looked kind of like a comet, going to the pole. Then it went through the wall and hit the podium inside, which was a large arena full of snow and trees, and a ruined building with a path going to it. The ball expanded and everyone was back to their normal forms. Sodden and his Yuty went past the Rexes and towards the Alpha Megapitcheus. Sodden took out a shotgun, walked towards the steps, and shot it once. The large gorilla quickly turned around and screeched. Sodden put the shotgun away and went back to the Rexes. The gorilla screeched as it ran towards the Rexes. The Rexes split up and went to the formation. Dorack’s group went to the back. Sodden’s group went to the front. The gorilla screeched then threw a rock at the front Rexes. Three of them got pushed back, then Sodden’s Yuty let out a shriek, and it energized the Rexes. Red’s daedon stayed with the Yuty, which stayed to the side. The Rexes started to penetrate the skin. Then the gorilla stood up and pounded its chest with its two fists, then some monkeys got summoned. They started smacking down the feet of the front Rexes, and the Rexes were biting their bodies down. There was blood on the ground, but the Megapitcheus wasn’t getting any worse. Its skin was very tough like the Broodmother, and this would be the same for the Dragon and Overseer. The Dragon was massive, and the Overseer was made of metal. But not just any metal. The same substance used in a survivor’s implant. And there was only one thing that could destroy that kind of stuff. The god shotgun. The Rexes had their teeth on the gorilla’s back, and the gorilla kept punching the Rexes and pushing them off. Then the gorilla summoned another rock and hit a Rex in the head with it. It screeched and got thrown back, then it stumbled and tripped. It fell over into the ice pit. One Rex down. Then the gorilla lifted its fists again and slammed them into one of the front Rexes’ feet. It screeched in pain then fell over. Then it roared as it pounded its chest with its fists again, thus summoning more minions. The minions started pushing back the rexes. The Yuty kept shrieking to energize the Rexes. The Daedon was healing some of the Rexes nicely, but they were still getting pushed around. The gorilla started to get tears in its skin, and it was punching and pushing off Rexes. Then, some of the Rexes sunk their teeth into the largest tear, which was pretty small and on the middle of the gorilla’s back. They started pulling it, and the gorilla screeched in pain and summoned another rock, then threw it over his head and it hit the three Rexes away. One of them fell into the pit. Then when it turned around to start attacking, all the other Rexes sunk their teeth into the wounds. Then the gorilla screeched as blood burst out of its skin and it started slowing. “The things these Rexes can do… no wonder they’re the king of the Dinos.” Sodden said. The gorilla screeched weakly as it ran around, then tripped and fell into the pit. Then when the screeching stopped and the ice spikes took the Megapitcheus out, a blue crate appeared on the podium. Everyone looked to it, then Sodden walked to the crate. He opened it up and took out a lot of element, along with the Alpha Megapitcheus trophy. “That means we only got one guardian left.” Red said. “Then the tek cave.” Sodden said. “Then the ultimate finale: the overseer.” Dorack said. He hopped off his Rex and the group put all the creatures in some cryopods. “Teleporting back in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1… Returning to Ark now…” Then the terminal summoned a blue dome, and the group walked into it. It spun faster and faster until it collapsed and compressed everyone into a form of energy inside the blue ball. The blue orb left the arena and flew to the blue obelisk and accelerated as it reentered the Ark dome and touched down onto the podium. Then the ball expanded and everyone was back to their normal forms. The gates opened and the group walked out of the base.
After a few minutes, the fliers were set out just outside of the base. Everyone got on the Argies, then Sodden looked back at Nameless. He looked ahead as the Argies took off. Cordor walked outside and looked up. “We’ll get back at you one day.” Cordor said.
After a while, the group arrived back at Nudon. Ascension was coming. There was one guardian left before the Overseer.

Chapter twenty three : Caught.
“Y’all snuck out?!” Nora asked/demanded. Jack ran his fingers through his long hair nervously. Cyra and him exchanged nervous glances. “Um….yeah?” Cyra said. “Why?! You could have gotten lost!” Nora exclaimed. “He could have escaped!” William exclaimed. “You could have died.” Cyrus said darkly. Cyra glared at him. “Well, excuse me Cyrus, I didn’t know that we were harboring a murderer!!” She exclaimed sarcastically. Cyrus’ eye twitched angrily. “Well, you never know what OUTSIDERS might do!!!!” He exclaimed. Cyra scowled. “Oh! So now you’re afraid of outsiders, huh?!” Cyra sneered. “NO! I’m just trying to protect YOU from OUTSIDERS!” Cyrus growled. Jack began to edge away from Cyra as she and Cyrus began to fight. “I don’t need your protection!”
“Oh really? Well I can list SEVERAL occasions when you needed my help!”
“You don’t understand do you?! This “protection” thing isn’t just you protecting me! I will protect you as well! And myself!”
“Well, I’m not just trying to protect you from outsiders I’m trying to protect you from mys-”
“ENOUGH!!!” William shouted. “We have a guest with us. Stop fighting you two, you’re acting like children.” Nora said. “Well you don’t treat him like a guest.” Cyra muttered. Cyrus scoffed. “Of course we don’t. He’s a outsider.” Cyrus said. Cyra glared at him. Cyrus ran his hand over his slicked back greasy dark brown hair and strutted out of the room haughtily. Nora sighed and shook her head. “Are they al-always like this?” Jack asked. William sighed. “Unfortunately…yes.” William replied. Cyra stomped past them, a dark expression on her face. The door slammed shut behind her, and the whole room shook. “Cyra can be very moody when she gets upset or offended. And so can Cyrus.” Nora said. “We were gonna scold Cyra but…probably not best to get her in a more foul mood. So……let’s go have dinner.” William instructed.

Extremely easy boss, I did Alpha with 19 lvl 200 rexes, each with about 30k health and 800 dmg. As well as a yuty, I Took him out in like 50 seconds, I probably overprepared, but it was my first time ever doing a boss. Then I got too cocky and decided to try out the Aalpha broodmother using the Same guys, but using 8 lvl 160 megatheriums as well, definitely didn't go as well, I realize now that I should've just used all my rexes for the broodmother, I did end up surviving, but lost all the megas and and 9 lvl 200+ rexes...
Moral of the story: Don't get Cocky!
Overseer
Chapter 6
Fuzzball turn behind with confusion. “How do you know my name?” Fuzzball said to the darkness in front of him. “We met a long time ago…perhaps you remember the huge gorilla you saw when you were in the snow biomes.” The mysterious creature said. “Who is he anyways, is he the overseer?” Fuzzball whispered to Scar. Scar gestured Fuzzball to be quiet and listen to him. “Kacrrom!” The lights then turned on. In front of him was a huge Gigantipitichus that seems badly injured. Fuzzball realized who he was, his long lost cousin. “Blizzard?!” Fuzzball said with excitement and confusion.
“Well we meet again Fuzzball.” Blizzard said while grinning to Fuzzball. Blizzard was an Megapitichus that escaped his prison of being slaughtered by humans in his arena but Fuzzball still didn’t know how Blizzard was his cousin. “As you see, after I escaped my prison.. the Gigantipitichus was stranded, one after another, they keep dying in the cold snow and of predators.” Said blizzard as he continued. “ I decided to help their tribe by taking to the redwoods. The first Gigantipitchus that settled to the Redwoods was scared and hopeless. We soon got sued to the environment and builded the a village, but ever since the corruption came out it’s been a disaster.” Blizzard sadly said.
“Also we brought the Artifact of Cure.” Fuzzball said as he quickly scurried to Blizzard with the Artifact in his hand. “With this we might make a cure for the corrupted.” Blizzard said as he picked up the Artifact. “Might?” Scar asked from behind Fuzzball. “As you see, our scientist are really low but the humans would either make us their slave or slaughter us when we ask for help.” Blizzard replied. “CRROOM.!!!” A guard suddenly came rushing in with worry. “Sir! Corrupted terror birds are trying to break in!” The guard said with fear in his eyes. “SOUND THE ALARMS AND EVACUATE THEM TO THE GRAND WALL.” Blizzard shouted orders as he got off his chair. The guards quickly blowed the horn on top of the overseers building and the ground shooked. “GET ME FLYER!” Blizzard said to one of the guards . “ You two listen carefully, Flyer is gonna take you to the hidden cave and from there give the artifact to the scientist.” Blizzard said slowly. “ Sir I’m ready!” Flyer said as he putted on a helmet. “Take them to the hidden cave.” Blizzard said. “B-but what about you?” Fuzzball said.
“I’ll be fine now go!” Blizzard said as he rushed outside to shout out orders. “You heard him let’s go!” Said Flyer as he leaded us to a Quetzal with back seats. “COME ON WE DONT HAVE MUCH TIME!” Flyer shouted since the crowd was really loud. Fuzzball and Scar quickly went to the passenger seat and Flyer went to fly the Quetzal. “HANG ON!” Flyer shouted as we took of to the sky. Fuzzball never been in the sky like this before, everyone look beautiful. Except for the corrupted terror birds attack the gate. “THIS IS A LONG RIDE SO BE PATIENT.” Flyer shouted again. “OK.” Fuzzball replied.
FEW HOURS LATER…
“We’re here.” Said Flyer as he landed the Quetzal in front of the hidden cave. Fuzzball woke up from his nap and had no idea how long it was. Scar was already getting of the Quetzal while Fuzzball made sure the Artifact was safe. “Thanks Flyer.” Scar said. Two guards was in front of the doorway. Once we were at the science lab a scientist came to us. “ Well hello, what brings you here.” The scientist Gigantipitichus said. “We’re here to bring the Artifact of Cure do you can make a cure.” Fuzzball replied. “ Well excellent!” The scientist said with a thrill. “Well my name is Puddle.” Puddle said. Then she led us to a lab and putted the Artifact in a machine. “VRACCCOOM.” The machine then maded a green looking potion. “We know what happened at the village so we are trying to pack up before the corrupted comes.” Said Puddle.
“Now listen, go to the flatlands and find a Giga, he’ll guide you.” Puddle said. “You do know what is a Giga right?” Puddle asked Scar and Fuzzball. They both nodded. “Flyer will take you to the flatlands, we are sended a message to your parents saying that you are just on a field trip with your school.” Puddle said. “B-but.” Before Fuzzball could asked how they know his parents Puddle interrupted . “Now hurry, there’s no time to waste.” Puddle said as she escorted them to Flyer. We got on the Qutzal again and we took of into the air. Fuzzball knew he had a worked to save and friends to help him. “We can do it.”

LAST CHAPTER: GIGANTIPITCHUS SECTION
I’m fought on gamma today with 3 decent daeodons, a good yuti, 3 spinos between 7-20k hp with varying melee, a Rex with 10k hp and 800% melee, and 12 allos with 10-12k hp and about 400% melee. It was basically just a bunch of retired breeder Dino’s that I didn’t care if they died. Only the Rex had a better than primitive saddle. They all survived with less than 1k damage taken and the fight lasted 3 minutes. It was a joke
Endgame- Chapter Two
“Alpha Rex!” Jenny yelled from her position as scout. It was late at night, but the campground was wide awake within seconds.
“Do you think it can get up here?” Slav mumbled.
“Maybe,” Jenny said, “But it looks like it might fall.”
They sat in silence and waited. Slav patted Parker, and the kapros were more tense than ever.
“It fell!” Jenny yelled, and a huge cheer went up from the campground.
“Quiet, fools!” Whispered one of the redwood tribes’s Chief Council members. “We want to keep our position secret!”
The next day, Kai, Nox, Slav and Jenny went out to get more tames. Nox had become known in some wild areas as a “Master Negotiator,” and so he was brought along to convince the creatures that they should be tamed.
“Let’s go to the tundra.” Kai said, breaking the silence as they rode on Sunny, pretty much their only big tame left. “We can get Rexes, Yutys, and Daeodons.”
“Sure,” Slav retorted, “But we have to go to the redwoods first! Thylas would be an incredible asset in this war!”
“Then you go!” Kai snapped. “I am not going back there!”
“Kai, please-“ Jenny and Nox both tried to say, but Kai held up his hand, covered in a fur glove. They rode on like that until they came to the snow.
“Grab a good-looking Yuty.” Kai instructed Sunny, and she swooped down and picked one up.
“Hey, Mr. Yuty!” Nox yelled. “Remember that Haphis guy who built a tribe on your territory?!”
“How could I forget?” The Yuty snarled. “His Woolly Rhino killed my carnos!”
“Oof, that sucks!” Nox yelled. “Hey, would you like to join the fight against him?”
They got a Yuty. It went on like this for a while, until they had Rexes, Yutys, Daeodons, Mammoths...
Back at base, Chiron and the others congratulated them for everything they got.
“There’s just one problem.” Chiron said. “Haphis knows we’re here.”
Endgame- Chapter 6
(idk if you liked my Crystal Isles Story preview, I was bored and thought it would be fun)
“You’ve already killed the first guardian for me.” Haphis snarled. “You’re going to be killing two more for me. Then, I shall destroy the final and ASCEND!” He laughed maniacally.
“We’re not going to do your dirty work.” Said Kai.
“Well, you were already planning on killing the guardians.” He replied. “You’re going to do it for me or I’ll feed you to my giga. He likes to take things slow. A very slow death.”
“We’ll do it.” Slav sighed. He found a piece of stone on the ground, and threw it at Haphis. It missed entirely, and the Corrupted Ex-tribe leader didn’t even notice.

Snakes. There were a lot of snakes. Pouncer had lived her entire life in the swamp, but there were so many snakes! A mutated Frog was being ridden by a riot geared guard, slowly circling the swamp. Pouncer didn’t know how she escaped, but she had to find them.
“You look like you need some help.” A quetz said. He picked up Pouncer.
“Have you seen a caravan moving anywhere? With prisoners?”
“Yes. I heard rumors that they were heading to the Yeti Cave.”
“Well, that’s where we’re going.”
Endgame- Chapter Four
Jenny, Kai, Chiron, and Slav were nestled around the green obelisk. Around them were Nox, Cutter, and Pouncer, and then sixteen Rexes and a Yuty, on which Chiron had been selected to ride.
“The Broodmother is a giant spider.” Slav said. “It’s gonna have a bunch of Araneo minions, so we’ve got to have brute force.”
“Why not just do Megatheriums?” Nox asked.
Kai slapped himself in the face. “Arrgghhh... he groaned. Rexes will do.”
They activated the terminal and presented their gifts to the obelisks. A dome starting building up around them. After 20 seconds, they teleported into a massive cave. Spider Eggs lined the walls. The kapros stood back a bit.
A massive red spider barreled out from an unseen lair.
“It’s an alpha!” Jenny yelled.
“Go! GO!” Kai yelled, and a storm of Rexes rushed at the massive beast.
Suddenly, the floor of the cavern was littered with scuttling spiders. The kapros tried to kill them, but to no avail.
“Onward! Chiron yelled, and courage-roared the Rexes from his Yuty. “Defeat the Broodmother any you will defeat her minions!”
Roars of dying Rexes and shrieks of dying spiders echoed through the immense chamber. “We have to keep fighting!” Jenny yelled. “We’re almost there!”
Sure enough, the giant spider fell, with only a few Rexes standing. When whacked with a hatchet, Kai discovered that a strange, glowy material emerged...
Endgame- Chapter Three
The taming was complete. Theris, thylas, Rexes, Yutys... an army had been created.
“They have gigas and Titans for sure.” Chiron mused to himself. “This won’t be enough.”
“We’re going to fight the Broodmother soon, right?” Kai asked. “It better be enough.”
A wave of Rexes, evidently Haphis’s first strike force, rampaged the campground in the Maw a little while later. On top were silent soldiers decked out in full Tek.
“To battle!” Slav yelled, riding a thyla. Kai swooped in on Shockclaw, his argy, to pick them up as the Rexes closed in. Jenny sent in an army of Yutys, and they pushed back the Rexes, until nothing could be heard except the slow, unsteady breathing of the casualties that still hadn’t died yet.
“Better gather these Rex arms.” Chiron said. “The guardians might want a tribute.”
Endgame- Sneak Peek (Chapter One)- By Swamp Guy
Haphis had been on a rampage. His corrupted mind had made him create a new tribe, tame a heck of a lot of creatures, and kill whoever crossed his path.
The redwood tribe, along with the volcano forces, were camping high up on the volcano after Haphis had destroyed their villages.
“We have to defeat the guardians.” Slav said as he, along with Kai, Jenny, the kapros, and other important officials sat around the glowing, bubbling lava.
“But how?” Kai asked, his voice hoarse. “We don’t even have a Rex anymore!”
Chiron didn’t say anything. Crushjaw had died during the battle of the redwoods. So had most of the other tames. Kai had his argy and a baryonyx. That was it.
“We have to try.” Slav said. “We have to try.”
Endgame- Chapter 10
Arciro snapped awake when he heard the Defense Unit. He grabbed his pike and hopped on his Parasaur. He had dodged danger for two weeks, but he had to start shaping up if he wanted to survive here.
“Let’s go.” He whispered. They snuck out of the coliseum out into the hauntingly beautiful city. The towers stretched far into the air. The wind whistled.
Arciro learned that night never to let your guard down in the city.

“Reports say that the Volcano Forces are returning to the Tek cave for the final guardian battle, sir.”
“Drat! I have to WIN! I have to ascend!” Haphis looked up. His soldier who had given him the report lay dead, blood seeping from an arrow wound on his neck. Two people walked in with compound bows. One loaded and shot his arrow. Haphis caught it in midair.
The screams of the assassins rang out in the cold night. Far away, at the Tek cave, an epic quest was about to begin.
Endgame- Chapter 9
Six of the Volcano Forces’s strongest warriors followed Kai, Jenny, Slav, Chiron and the Kapros into the Dragon Arena at the Red Obelisk. Nox was staying out of the fight. He had to rest.
“Man your stations, soldiers!” A captain yelled. “The Corrupted Clan is attacking!”
Nox looked up. Pteranodons crisscrossed through the air. Three gigas stomped closer and closer.
“Surrender or die.” The raspy, horrible corrupted voice of Haphis sounded through the air.
“No!” General Raike yelled. “Volcano Forces, attack!”
Raike didn’t last long. He was impaled on a scorpion spine. Nox ran through the war zone, dodging the deadly spines, spikes, and teeth of the tames of the Corrupted Clan.
“You can’t hold long.” Haphis snarled. “You’re all mere mortals. I am a GOD!”
A Giga fell, crushing its own spino ally. It had looked as if the volcano forces had won the battle.
A massive flash of light. Kai, Jenny, Slav, Chiron, and one Rex appeared at the platform to see the raging battle.
“We’re winning! Push on!” Roared Commander North, riding an allo. The last giga fell, and the battle was won.
“Drat!” Haphis’s booming voice resounded through the air.

“We beat the Dragon.” Jenny sighed.
“It was very hard.” Slav said.
“I could tell.” Nox mused. “Now, we have to defeat the final guardian. But where do we face him?”
“The Tek cave!” Chiron exclaimed. “There’s a terminal there!”
“Then what are we waiting for?” Kai asked. “Let’s do this.”
Endgame- Chapter 5
A large crowd of people were waiting for them at the obelisk platform. In a flash of light, Jenny, Kai, Slav, Chiron, the kapros, and all the other survivors of the battle appeared at the platform.
“We did it!” Kai yelled, and he and Jenny thrust the head of a giant spider out into the crowd. The crowd was silent.
A massive hiss sounded from all around them. Mutated Titanoboas slithered out from everywhere. The kapros tried to bite them, the humans tried to shoot, but there were too many. They smothered all of them, even the crowd, who were just a bunch of lifeless mannequins now. Nox struggled to get out. He pulled Cutter and Pouncer out of the writhing mass, but Kai and the others were tranquilized. They couldn’t be helped.
“SHOCKCLAW!” Nox roared at the top of his lungs. He knew the Argy was somewhere. They needed help. Right now.
That was Nox’s last thought before the mound of snakes surrounded him and he blacked out.

“I’m so happy you could join me here.” A horribly malformed voice said as Slav began to open his drowsy eyes. Half of Haphis’s face was covered in purple corrupted nodes. His one human eye was icy blue and reminded Slav of a snowstorm. His corrupted eye swirled deep with element poison.
“I’ve got big plans for you.” He laughed.
