What are some stories about the megapithecus? Memorable megapithecus stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
Endgame- Chapter 6
(idk if you liked my Crystal Isles Story preview, I was bored and thought it would be fun)
“You’ve already killed the first guardian for me.” Haphis snarled. “You’re going to be killing two more for me. Then, I shall destroy the final and ASCEND!” He laughed maniacally.
“We’re not going to do your dirty work.” Said Kai.
“Well, you were already planning on killing the guardians.” He replied. “You’re going to do it for me or I’ll feed you to my giga. He likes to take things slow. A very slow death.”
“We’ll do it.” Slav sighed. He found a piece of stone on the ground, and threw it at Haphis. It missed entirely, and the Corrupted Ex-tribe leader didn’t even notice.
—————————
Snakes. There were a lot of snakes. Pouncer had lived her entire life in the swamp, but there were so many snakes! A mutated Frog was being ridden by a riot geared guard, slowly circling the swamp. Pouncer didn’t know how she escaped, but she had to find them.
“You look like you need some help.” A quetz said. He picked up Pouncer.
“Have you seen a caravan moving anywhere? With prisoners?”
“Yes. I heard rumors that they were heading to the Yeti Cave.”
“Well, that’s where we’re going.”
Endgame- Chapter Four
Jenny, Kai, Chiron, and Slav were nestled around the green obelisk. Around them were Nox, Cutter, and Pouncer, and then sixteen Rexes and a Yuty, on which Chiron had been selected to ride.
“The Broodmother is a giant spider.” Slav said. “It’s gonna have a bunch of Araneo minions, so we’ve got to have brute force.”
“Why not just do Megatheriums?” Nox asked.
Kai slapped himself in the face. “Arrgghhh... he groaned. Rexes will do.”
They activated the terminal and presented their gifts to the obelisks. A dome starting building up around them. After 20 seconds, they teleported into a massive cave. Spider Eggs lined the walls. The kapros stood back a bit.
A massive red spider barreled out from an unseen lair.
“It’s an alpha!” Jenny yelled.
“Go! GO!” Kai yelled, and a storm of Rexes rushed at the massive beast.
Suddenly, the floor of the cavern was littered with scuttling spiders. The kapros tried to kill them, but to no avail.
“Onward! Chiron yelled, and courage-roared the Rexes from his Yuty. “Defeat the Broodmother any you will defeat her minions!”
Roars of dying Rexes and shrieks of dying spiders echoed through the immense chamber. “We have to keep fighting!” Jenny yelled. “We’re almost there!”
Sure enough, the giant spider fell, with only a few Rexes standing. When whacked with a hatchet, Kai discovered that a strange, glowy material emerged...
Endgame- Chapter Two
“Alpha Rex!” Jenny yelled from her position as scout. It was late at night, but the campground was wide awake within seconds.
“Do you think it can get up here?” Slav mumbled.
“Maybe,” Jenny said, “But it looks like it might fall.”
They sat in silence and waited. Slav patted Parker, and the kapros were more tense than ever.
“It fell!” Jenny yelled, and a huge cheer went up from the campground.
“Quiet, fools!” Whispered one of the redwood tribes’s Chief Council members. “We want to keep our position secret!”
The next day, Kai, Nox, Slav and Jenny went out to get more tames. Nox had become known in some wild areas as a “Master Negotiator,” and so he was brought along to convince the creatures that they should be tamed.
“Let’s go to the tundra.” Kai said, breaking the silence as they rode on Sunny, pretty much their only big tame left. “We can get Rexes, Yutys, and Daeodons.”
“Sure,” Slav retorted, “But we have to go to the redwoods first! Thylas would be an incredible asset in this war!”
“Then you go!” Kai snapped. “I am not going back there!”
“Kai, please-“ Jenny and Nox both tried to say, but Kai held up his hand, covered in a fur glove. They rode on like that until they came to the snow.
“Grab a good-looking Yuty.” Kai instructed Sunny, and she swooped down and picked one up.
“Hey, Mr. Yuty!” Nox yelled. “Remember that Haphis guy who built a tribe on your territory?!”
“How could I forget?” The Yuty snarled. “His Woolly Rhino killed my carnos!”
“Oof, that sucks!” Nox yelled. “Hey, would you like to join the fight against him?”
They got a Yuty. It went on like this for a while, until they had Rexes, Yutys, Daeodons, Mammoths...
Back at base, Chiron and the others congratulated them for everything they got.
“There’s just one problem.” Chiron said. “Haphis knows we’re here.”
Endgame- Sneak Peek (Chapter One)- By Swamp Guy
Haphis had been on a rampage. His corrupted mind had made him create a new tribe, tame a heck of a lot of creatures, and kill whoever crossed his path.
The redwood tribe, along with the volcano forces, were camping high up on the volcano after Haphis had destroyed their villages.
“We have to defeat the guardians.” Slav said as he, along with Kai, Jenny, the kapros, and other important officials sat around the glowing, bubbling lava.
“But how?” Kai asked, his voice hoarse. “We don’t even have a Rex anymore!”
Chiron didn’t say anything. Crushjaw had died during the battle of the redwoods. So had most of the other tames. Kai had his argy and a baryonyx. That was it.
“We have to try.” Slav said. “We have to try.”
Endgame- Chapter Three
The taming was complete. Theris, thylas, Rexes, Yutys... an army had been created.
“They have gigas and Titans for sure.” Chiron mused to himself. “This won’t be enough.”
“We’re going to fight the Broodmother soon, right?” Kai asked. “It better be enough.”
A wave of Rexes, evidently Haphis’s first strike force, rampaged the campground in the Maw a little while later. On top were silent soldiers decked out in full Tek.
“To battle!” Slav yelled, riding a thyla. Kai swooped in on Shockclaw, his argy, to pick them up as the Rexes closed in. Jenny sent in an army of Yutys, and they pushed back the Rexes, until nothing could be heard except the slow, unsteady breathing of the casualties that still hadn’t died yet.
“Better gather these Rex arms.” Chiron said. “The guardians might want a tribute.”
Endgame- Chapter 12
The wind whistled slowly. The lava slowly flowed. The humans, the kapros, ten Daeodons, four Yutys, three allos, and thirty Rexes clustered around the terminal. Kai gave the tribute.
The door came open.
Inside the Tek cave, it was blistering hot. They had crafted some TEK armor, but they could still feel the heat. Kapros and Microraptors attacked, but they dodged and ripped through tall of them. A Rex fell into the lava. Only 49 creatures.
A wave of wild Yutys attacked. A giga came charging. Two Daeodons were killed, as well as a Rex. The humans rode atop Yutys.
Eventually, they made it into the final part of the cave. Nothing but a Giga stood between them and the Overseer.
The fight was short and brutal. The giga fell, and they entered the cold tunnel.
They had finally reached the terminal. The battle was soon to begin.
“Miss me?” A voice snarled. Haphis stepped out of the shadows. He ran at them, knocking them out of the way. He slammed his hand onto the terminal and disappeared in a burst of light. Two seconds later, they teleported with him.
Endgame- Chapter 10
Arciro snapped awake when he heard the Defense Unit. He grabbed his pike and hopped on his Parasaur. He had dodged danger for two weeks, but he had to start shaping up if he wanted to survive here.
“Let’s go.” He whispered. They snuck out of the coliseum out into the hauntingly beautiful city. The towers stretched far into the air. The wind whistled.
Arciro learned that night never to let your guard down in the city.
—————————
“Reports say that the Volcano Forces are returning to the Tek cave for the final guardian battle, sir.”
“Drat! I have to WIN! I have to ascend!” Haphis looked up. His soldier who had given him the report lay dead, blood seeping from an arrow wound on his neck. Two people walked in with compound bows. One loaded and shot his arrow. Haphis caught it in midair.
The screams of the assassins rang out in the cold night. Far away, at the Tek cave, an epic quest was about to begin.
Endgame- Chapter 9
Six of the Volcano Forces’s strongest warriors followed Kai, Jenny, Slav, Chiron and the Kapros into the Dragon Arena at the Red Obelisk. Nox was staying out of the fight. He had to rest.
“Man your stations, soldiers!” A captain yelled. “The Corrupted Clan is attacking!”
Nox looked up. Pteranodons crisscrossed through the air. Three gigas stomped closer and closer.
“Surrender or die.” The raspy, horrible corrupted voice of Haphis sounded through the air.
“No!” General Raike yelled. “Volcano Forces, attack!”
Raike didn’t last long. He was impaled on a scorpion spine. Nox ran through the war zone, dodging the deadly spines, spikes, and teeth of the tames of the Corrupted Clan.
“You can’t hold long.” Haphis snarled. “You’re all mere mortals. I am a GOD!”
A Giga fell, crushing its own spino ally. It had looked as if the volcano forces had won the battle.
A massive flash of light. Kai, Jenny, Slav, Chiron, and one Rex appeared at the platform to see the raging battle.
“We’re winning! Push on!” Roared Commander North, riding an allo. The last giga fell, and the battle was won.
“Drat!” Haphis’s booming voice resounded through the air.
—————————
“We beat the Dragon.” Jenny sighed.
“It was very hard.” Slav said.
“I could tell.” Nox mused. “Now, we have to defeat the final guardian. But where do we face him?”
“The Tek cave!” Chiron exclaimed. “There’s a terminal there!”
“Then what are we waiting for?” Kai asked. “Let’s do this.”
Endgame- Chapter 5
A large crowd of people were waiting for them at the obelisk platform. In a flash of light, Jenny, Kai, Slav, Chiron, the kapros, and all the other survivors of the battle appeared at the platform.
“We did it!” Kai yelled, and he and Jenny thrust the head of a giant spider out into the crowd. The crowd was silent.
A massive hiss sounded from all around them. Mutated Titanoboas slithered out from everywhere. The kapros tried to bite them, the humans tried to shoot, but there were too many. They smothered all of them, even the crowd, who were just a bunch of lifeless mannequins now. Nox struggled to get out. He pulled Cutter and Pouncer out of the writhing mass, but Kai and the others were tranquilized. They couldn’t be helped.
“SHOCKCLAW!” Nox roared at the top of his lungs. He knew the Argy was somewhere. They needed help. Right now.
That was Nox’s last thought before the mound of snakes surrounded him and he blacked out.
—————————
“I’m so happy you could join me here.” A horribly malformed voice said as Slav began to open his drowsy eyes. Half of Haphis’s face was covered in purple corrupted nodes. His one human eye was icy blue and reminded Slav of a snowstorm. His corrupted eye swirled deep with element poison.
“I’ve got big plans for you.” He laughed.
Endgame- Chapter 13
The Hall of Records was an incredible place. Haphis had rushed ahead, but the others stayed back. They looked at what lived in the past earth. The present earth. The future earth.
“That’s earth.” Slav whispered. “What a disappointment.”
They walked along the long path until they came to the final arena. Haphis and his snake army were already in the heat of battle against the Overseer.
They joined the fight. Haphis took out the minions, but there were too many. The overseer, though, was dying. It transformed into the Dragon. It killed all of the snakes in a single hit. But it could last no longer.
The guardian of the island fell, and they began to ascend.

The Twisted Sands- Prologue By Swamp Guy
The Green Obelisk stood above them. Some Thorny Dragons took a sip of the cool blue water and snatched some coelacanths. A lone Thyla prowled around the edge of the lake, swiping at a raptor. A survivor on a Poison Wyvern was spotted far away in the distance.
“Do you feel that?” Asked Quill, one of the Thorny Dragons. “It feels like something is coming.”
“I feel it too.” Said Sandspike, another Thorny that was next to him.
A hole in the sky opened, and four humans, three kapros, and a griffin fell out, landing in the soft sand.
“Arrrrrgh...” one of the humans said. She was the girl who had fallen down holding on to the griffin, who was lying nearby.
“Who are you?” Sandspike hissed at the kapros.
“Nox...” one of them mumbled, then went out cold.
That’s it! Endgame is done! I’ll be finishing THD, and then I’ll either start my SE series or a new one I have planned. Thanks for reading!

Endgame- Chapter 11
“Do we have anything better than a raft?” Slav yelled. “I hate the ocean!”
“Sorry!” Jenny yelled back. “We never expected to have to dive into the sea!”
The final guardian needed a tribute. A serious one. So they decided to get the rarest creature artifacts there were.
Kai was next to the raft, on a basilosaurus. Another unridden basilosaurus was next to him. Slav would ride that one once-
“ALPHA LEEDSICHTHYS!” Kai screamed. The raft splintered into pieces. Slav leapt into the cold water. He found his basilo. He got on it.
“Go go GO!” Kai roared. The basilosaurus went full out on the giant fish. The Leedsichthys didn’t last long. They cut out its blubber and dove down deep.
—————————
Not too long later and they had collected all the ocean tributes. It was time for the land Alpha Creatures.
They already had an alpha raptor claw and an alpha Rex tooth. All they needed was an alpha carno arm.
“I see one.” Cutter whispered. “But there are lots of thylas around.”
Cutter, Nox, Jenny, and Chiron were on this mission. Since the destruction of his tribe, Kai had patently refused to return to the redwoods.
Jenny shot a rocket at the thylas. They all roared angrily and came at them. Jenny and Slav pelted them with bullets until they were all killed. She loaded another rocket.
BOOM! The alpha carno came running at them. The kapros circled it, draining its stamina. Finally, a last bullet hit, and the carno dropped dead. Nox tore off an arm. They were ready to fight the final guardian.
Endgame- Chapter 8
Arciro opened his eyes. He was sitting in some sort of tiny coliseum. Around him stood vine-covered tek buildings. Everything was tek. Like the walls of the Tek cave, the element shone in Arciro’s eye. How did he get here? The last thing he remembered was the searing heat of the Tek cave. His beloved carno, dead on the ground. Victor. The Thyla claw. Massive pain.
An image flashed in his mind. The blood pouring out of his throat. His body slumping to the floor. Victor telling the others that he had been killed by megalosaurus. The arthros, eating his corpse. His bones, a dusty pile in the cave.
“Did I die?” He asked.
“So it would seem.” A thoughtful voice remarked. The disembodied voice was in Arciro’s head, but seemed as far away as that dome he saw in the distance.
“Who are you? Did you resurrect me?!”
“Yes. I am a HomoDeus.”
—————————
“The Dragon is the next guardian.” Haphis rasped. “Kill it. We shall then face the final guardian.”
No one said anything. Nox was sitting there glumly with a piece of his tail sawed off. No one was in very good spirits.
A C4 charge shook the base. Yuty roars echoed through the metal walls. A cyan bear and a kapro rushed in.
“Pouncer!” The other kapros exclaimed.
“Savage!” Yelped Kai.
“We’re here to get you out.” Said Savage. a strike from an electric prod knocked Haphis out. They rushed out of the Yeti cave to a cheering crowd. Their armies had returned.
Endgame- Chapter 7
The blue obelisk was an ominous site above them. The humans and kapros were about to face the Megapithecus.
“You’ll be riding Rexes. You’ll have an army of my snakes, and your kapros. Bring me the trophy and the element.”
They were teleported into the arena. Cold snow whirled around them, and a massive roar echoed through the air.
“A freaking giant monkey.” Slav sighed.
—————————
“It’s too late.” Pouncer whispered as she saw the flash of light. They had already been transported to the arena.”
“Yup. That sucks.” A grizzly voice said. Pouncer turned around to see a cyan bear.
“Savage!” Pouncer yelped. Savage was Kai’s mutated Direbear. “What are you doing here?”
Savage shrugged. “I forgot.”
Pouncer groaned. “We need to get them back!”
The bear chortled, which kind of sounded like a roar. “I’ve already got a plan.”
—————————
“Go! Go! CHARGE NOW!” Chiron roared as the Megapithecus and its minions were upon them. The snakes flooded the giant monkey, damaging it with sheer numbers.
The ape roared, and a gigantopithecus punched Cutter in the face.
“Oof!” Cutter had the air knocked out of him. He could barely see the raging battle.
“We’ve got him!” Jenny yelled. Cutter saw the form of the Megapithecus falling down... on him.
“Watch out!” Nox yelled, and he pushed Cutter out of the way. The ape fell on his tail, instead.
“Ow.” Nox moaned. “Ow.”
They returned to the platform with the element, where Haphis and a few guards were waiting for them.
“One more guardian to go.” Haphis cackled. “Then, I shall ascend.”
