Get your friend and a pteranodon use a crossbow or gun

Actually pretty good at gathering berries/mushrooms.

The Dino model is too high up naturally to manage this.

Go into third person, look down -camera above you and the Maewing you’re riding-

Then turn the maewing’s head to the left or the right, then use the right trigger.

If the ‘spittle’ that appears during the attack animation is over the plant or shroom you’re trying to harvest. Your Maewing’s model and attack should hit the resource and allow you to collect it.

Maybe not the most important tip. But yeah, Maewings aren’t bad gatherers if you’re struggling for anything else. Just awkward to use.

Is It me or its impossible to find one without wasted points

I love these guys they really fast gliding they can be beginner tame you trap it like a Kangaroo so there easy to tame so please up this

Maewings can carry up to four baby’s and can spray milk and is a MUST tame

If you have a baby creature and no meat Maewing is your savior but when it’s like 60 70 percent it can’t be fed trust me I grew a whole sarco from it

Tamed Mae wings can still fight even if there knocked out it very useful

Nets are essential- just some metal and a couple polymer with your harpoon, a little meat or even better, basic kibble to go with it and a slingshot can knock a low level- no need for traps or anything else

I went to the redwoods and I was there for ten minutes I did not find any I checked in Asgard at the huge spine none there so I went to the blue Ob I found a bunch there check there if and stay until you tame one and get it to base

They are also found in Asgard near the wyvern entrance. But they are on top of the cliff. I found at least 6 next to each other at 30.6, 18.4 and two of them were max level.

If you spam glide while on these things then gravity will no longer effect it making it a super fast flyer

There is actually a really good trap to get these guys- you need 1 rare flower, 1 stone foundation, 2 stone walls, 3 stone double door frames, and 2 stone stairs. First, you place the foundation. Next, you place one double doorframe on one side. On the opposite side, you place 2 of the door frames, on top of eachother. You place the walls on the sides that don't have anything on them, add stairs to the lower double doorframe part leading into the trap, make sure the maewing is away from other creatures, eat the flower, run through the trap, staring at the stairs, walk out of the other side, and the maewing is trapped! (This is explained better on YouTube videos)

Does any one know where to find these guys

These guys are way more easy to take them you think they are. It's just a knockout tame. Pretty simple. At least in my opinion.

This actually is found in Fjordur but I do not know what level the saddle is unlocked at

Equip a saddle, Put food in their inventory and put a baby in their basket. Turn on nursing and you're good to go for hours, no more dropping food in the baby inventory. Shield your eyes from what's about to happen next.

Also whoever said they can't eat after baby status is wrong, I have juveniles eating from my Mae as I'm typing this

BEST NANNIES EVER!!!!! Love these guys. Makes breeding a breeze.

For this you need 5 wooden or stone dino gateways and two gateway door you also need a rare flower to get it mad when it get in run and close the gate.
