The Crystal King

Chapter 44

John was trying to figure out how to get out of this. The king of corruption was forcing him to join him, and John wasn’t going to. There were also other corrupt leaders, like the dragon and crystal wyvern Queen. He wondered if George could help him.

“Human, George will not help you. He was always on my side. The only reason he let you down here to earth is because he couldn’t kill you when exited the simulation.” Said King titan.

“I will not join you. If I have to, I will go out fighting.” Said John. Then John started shooting the corrupt raptors. He killed them quickly. Then the corrupt giganotosaurus started coming. They circled around him and John knew he had to kill two of them and run. So he killed two of the corrupt giganotosaurus and started running. Then he remembered he had a jet pack on his tek suit.

“Dragon and manticore follow him. If he won’t join us, he must die.” Said The King titan. John was running as fast as he could, but the flying beasts were catching up to him. Then he heard something. Then he saw three meks, ready to save him.

“John, keep running. We’ll meet back at the desert outpost.” Said Carter. John did as he was told and continued running as his friends were fighting off the corrupt creatures. When he was halfway to the outpost, he could hear his friends.

“That was close” Said Susan.

“The dragon and manticore are somewhere out here in the wastelands. We don’t know where, but they are hunting you now.” Said Carter. Eventually they made it back. His team made John a new mek, because his last one was stuck.

“We need to defeat the dragon and manticore.” Said John.

“Not yet, because we aren’t ready.” Said Dexter.

“Killing both the dragon and manticore at the same time will be hard.” Said Carter.
