If your sever is a bit awkward like mine and when you level and glow pet and it does not charge up to full amount then enable the light then turn it back of then it will recharge to max.

They can breathe underwater and they swim very well. Only light tame safe for underwater gameplay.

I’m not sure if this is a problem across consoles or not, but at least on switch when entering the glow tail cave the floor early in the cave will not render. Usually it fixes itself fast enough to blow through it, but recently I was travelling on a speedy ravager and managed to fall through the map and lost all my stuff and my ravager. So exercise caution when entering the cave!

Colour it using SetTargetDinoColor (colour region) 02 for cyan and SetTargetDinoColor (colour region) 52 for sky blue, I reccomend those 2 colours for a really nice ocean-themed glowtail, or really any lightpet, including featherlights, bulbdogs, and cyan and/or medium blue highlights for shinehorns, but I reccomend keeping the main body white. You can also, if you want, mutate those regions in those colours or similar colours, It makes for a really cool end result.

Plant Z seed can be transfered from aberration to crystal isles.

Babies on Crystal Isles (no Z seeds) eat all kinds of seeds (tons) or ascerbic mushrooms

You can now tame these on lost isles :)

The wiki and most guides get it wrong, but when you’re raising a baby glowtail, it only eats seeds. Juvenile and Adolescent it eats regular berries. Just tame an iguanadon and use the radial wheel to make a ton of seeds from berries you put in its inventory.

Before you tame one let's go over where can you find these on Aberration and Fjordur specifically. On Aberration, in the very first spawn area head down to a small body of water which will be down a steep drop, they can be found in a cave along the pond's shoreline. In Fjordur, they can spawn in the main area known as Midgard they can very rarely spawn in the magma/blue zone cave in the bottom left of the map (if I remember correctly). You will often find them in the glow cave in Vanaheim, a place you must find the portal cave to reach. The portal cave is near by the vault cave that is like a "special thanks to ___" thing.
