I’m not sure if this is a problem across consoles or not, but at least on switch when entering the glow tail cave the floor early in the cave will not render. Usually it fixes itself fast enough to blow through it, but recently I was travelling on a speedy ravager and managed to fall through the map and lost all my stuff and my ravager. So exercise caution when entering the cave!

More Glowtail Taming & KO Tips
It can be tamed with the narcotic mushrooms like so players know
1 Glowtail Egg+ 3 Aquatic Mushrooms+1 Cooked Fish+Mejos+Fiber+Water= Glowtail Kibble

They have the best glow then of any of the glow tames. Babies eat meat not berries.
When raising a glowtail they est meat, most people think you raise with seeds but not. EVERYONE needs to know the truth.
32 degrees celcius to incubate! :) thought this would help anyone breeding these guys.
Glowtails can be found in the Old Railway cave on Abberation. You can tame them with Ascerbic Mushrooms. Make sure to bring cryopods!
(When tamed they eat raw meat.)

There on lost island but can't take them for some reason you can find the mushrooms at that castle near the red woods
But for some reason they don't tame when you press y
