How do I tame a glowtail? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a glowtail.
It has a glowing tail. It glows. That means it gives you light. Light is good.
It can be tamed with the narcotic mushrooms like so players know
1 Glowtail Egg+ 3 Aquatic Mushrooms+1 Cooked Fish+Mejos+Fiber+Water= Glowtail Kibble
Glowtails can be found in the Old Railway cave on Abberation. You can tame them with Ascerbic Mushrooms. Make sure to bring cryopods!
(When tamed they eat raw meat.)

They have the best glow then of any of the glow tames. Babies eat meat not berries.
When raising a glowtail they est meat, most people think you raise with seeds but not. EVERYONE needs to know the truth.

Glowtails are one of the four lantern pets. Found in artifact caves, these little guys love Plant Species Z seeds (Heal plants),and your everyday ascerbic mushrooms. It's an easy passive tame. But there are a LOT of bad things in caves you don't wanna get close to, like megalosaurs or arthropleura. Happy taming!
Passive tame, feed 3-4 Ascerbic Mushrooms for easy tame. Encounter in caves usually near water.
Get an Iguanadon nanny to provide seeds to feed the baby or you'll be running around like a mad man trying to feed even a single baby
In the kibble recipes it says you can tame a glowtail with white kibble, it doesn't work tryed it.
