The movie ratings go like this:

G, suitable for all ages (I find most G rated movies boring)

PG, around 5-6 or over, which stands for parent guidance

PG13, parent guidance, and usually for teens (Usually Marvel movies are rated PG13, but they aren’t that violent)

And then R, only for 17+ and over, most likely contains adult content or violence.

Then I have seen or heard of “NC17” which means only for adults. So R is the most mature rating.
