Me and a friend of mine find it helps to have a Ghillie suit while hiding in the nest and the mother won’t see you unless you stop hiding.

Passive tame- Trapping parent with metal signs and 1 feet egg makes timing easy. Hide in nest wait for mini game unhide and hide again.. boom taming complete within 10minutes

Trap the Parent close to the nest with Metallboards

Kill every carnivore around you

Place your Flyer (Tame) in a distance that the parent doesn’t agro it

Dance with baby and easy going 💪💪💪

You can only tame the baby’s !!!!!!

The parent must be alive to tame the baby, you can distract the parent with eggs or a tribe mate but the best method by far is to trap it close to the nest (4 metal billboards do the trick)

Once trapped, hide in the nest and wait for the baby to approach. This will start a matching minigame. Complete to raise tame progress.

Have a friend hold onto it with a bug while your friend chills in the nest easy tame

Grab the mother with a bug. Keep her agro'd. Someone else sneaks into the nest and tames the baby when quoed

Set a trap with 4 Dino gates and put the adult in the trap then proceed to jump in the nest and then just match the dances

I found a nest and had proceeded to trap the mother in a simple trap and proceeded to do the minigame with the baby. I then had my argie take the baby back to my base.

Use fertilized egg (my tribe use argy eggs) to lure parent into a bill board trap. Then imprint on the baby with no worries

You don’t need eggs you just need a friend to take the adult away long enough for you to hop in the nest. In order for the mini game to be triggered the baby needs to path back into the nest and become startled. The adult has to be near the nest and no longer agro’d in order for the baby to become startled upon pathing back into the nest.

What i recommend for you to do if for a taming one of these bad boys is atleast have one piece of a ghillie suit and fertilized eggs im not entirely sure if this is what activates the mini game for the gigiantraptor if you did all these steps the nest may very be glitched but first try to clear all rocks/plants/trees next to the nest and attempt again.(if doesnt work,eliminate the baby and mom so more can spawn in the area and keep trying different nests)

It’s broken say in nest an hour while needing parent no interaction from baby at all

You don't need eggs to tame. Just fly it away with a pt in the water then come back real fast, park it away a little bit, but not too close to the nest, jump back into the nest, and do one dance. Ark ascended.

This Dino is really easy to tame, the following guide will make it a breeze:

1. Make some wooden billboards (4 at the minimum but more can be helpful) which will be used to trap the parent

2. This is the hardest step, find the gigantoraptor you want to tame, I’ve seen them mostly near rivers on the eastern half of the map, but a few spawn in the jungle.

3. Near the nest, set up a 3 billboards in the shape of a square, with a side missing (if you made extra turn it into a rectangle with the shorter side missing)

4. Lure the gigantoraptor into the shape, and close it off with a billboard. This can take several tries so be patient. I used a pteranodon, which can fly under the billboard, and is quick, but you can lure it in on foot if you don’t have one, but it will hit you a lot, so be prepared. While gigantoraptor can damage wood, I’ve never had it aggro on the billboards only on me, so it might damage it a bit, but once you get out of reach and it de aggros it will just walk around in the box.

5. Sit in the nest and mimic the baby.

Note: kill creatures that will attack you, the baby, or the parent in the general area to prevent interference in the tame (you can set up a barrier around the nest to fully control recent interference if you want.

Super easy to tame. Build a dino gate trap about 30-50m from the nest and lure the mom in. PvP you can just pick the mom and drop her in the trap with a Rhynio.

Once the mom is secured, hide in the center of the nest and mimic the baby's dance moves (spin, bow, or flap).

If you kill the mother or drag her too far from the nest you can't tame the baby. She has to be close by, but not aggro'd.

If the nest is somewhere where you can't build a trap you'll have to lure mom away with fertilized eggs to start the tame. The bigger the egg the better. 1 bronto or giga egg should keep her busy for 2-3 rounds of dancing with the baby. When she finishes the egg she'll come back to check the nest. At that point hop out and drop another egg to kite her away and repeat the process.

It takes about 2 maybe 3 days to tame it eats meat and u don't need to drop a egg at the parent just trap it close and dance with the baby

Just trap near and your good to go

1: Bring a tanky tame.

2: Set to passive, attack the parent while riding and lead it about 30-40 feet away.

3: Dismount so the parent attacks your passive tame and not you.

4: Sneak into the nest and wait until it eventually de agros.

5: Start the taming process with the baby.

6: Repeat.
