Dodo Tales S4 Ep3
Henry felt the cold, dry floor and sat up to see bars and concrete walls around him.
"Don't try to bargain or beg; you're our nightly entertainment."
"Who are you?" Asked Henry, watching a dark figure stare directly at him.
"Don't ask questions either."
Several lights were turned on simultaneously, bringing light to the darkness of midnight. Several men stood around the the first figure, hardly moving. The figure who had first spoken's face was illuminated slightly, but his gaze did not change, his left hand raised to adjust his smooth mustache, which was smooth and gray, almost silver.
The torchlight was reflected in his eyes and his soul as a burning hatred. Henry stared at the man's eyes for only a moment. "You don't have to do this." Henry tried. There was a long silence.
"I know."
His expression was hard to read, but had a sort of bitterness and unenthusiasm that felt psychopathic.
Henry desperately tried to escape, pulling the steel bars in front of him, but could not.
"You want to know how you'll die?" The figure asked. Henry recognized that the figure was only trying to make him more miserable. "Don't hurt the kid. Kill me instead."
The figure completely ignored him. "We'll feed you to the rock drakes. It'll be painful; it's always more brutal the hungrier they are." Henry stared at the figure directly in the eyes again.
"The kid will be first so you can watch him be teared limb from limb." The figure said, causing Henry to pointlessly attempt another escape. "Why are you doing this?! Shouldn't we be working together like sensible and functioning humans?" Henry desperately tried. "Human nature is not to make a utopia or to entirely 'work together', human nature is tribalism." After a long period of silence, the man continued. "Anyway, before we continue, we have a special surprise for you." Several men walked to Henry, quickly dragging him across the hard floor. They released him from his handcuffs, and brought him to a table, closing the cell door to prevent John from escaping. "It's nothing personal, although I am a bit of a sadist to be honest." Said the man as the others secured Henry to the table. "We just need you to tell us everything you know. It's for the protection of my people — you'll be an unsung hero."
"Nothing justifies torture."
"Are you religious?"
"Protestant."
"There is no God here."
Several Hours Earlier
Jerry and Jefferson trudged
through thick mud, eventually arriving at a heavily reinforced metal gate. "Do we really need a little detour? Can't we just go around?" Jefferson asked as Jerry knocked on the gate several times. "This place is right in the middle of our path. It's either this or several miles through ravager-infested forests." Jerry replied.
A small slit in the door slid open, and someone on the other side peered through. "What's the password?"
"A password?"
"No."
"You just said there's a password."
"There is a password, it's just not 'a password'."
"Can you please explain this coherently?"
"How much simpler could it get?"
"Look, we're just passing through, so I'd appreciate it if you could just open the-"
"I can't let you in until you tell me the password! I'm just doing my job."
"Let me try." Jefferson said, pushing Jerry and walking forward.
"What's the password?"
"Could you give me a clue?"
"No."
"Did you take that as a question or as another guess?"
Jerry became frustrated, and pulled something from his leather bag; a c4 charge. He placed it on the metal door and grabbed Jefferson. Pressing the detonator, Jerry stood and watched as a large hole was blown through the gate. He stepped through it as the smoke cleared, Jefferson behind him. Dozens of people stared at him in shock, the room silent. Finally, one older man pulled a revolver and aimed at them. Jerry could tell that he wasn't the type to hesitate. "We're just passing through. We're trying to save our friends. We lost track of them a couple of miles that way." Jerry pointed in what he believed to be the proper direction. "West?" Said another man. "West is trouble. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but your friends are likely dead." A relatively tall and well-dressed man suddenly walked in front of the others, signaling for them to calm down. "Let's not blow this out of proportion now. Ever heard the saying 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend'? Well that applies here." The man said, putting his arm around Jerry from behind in a friendly manner. "How would you like to hear my speech tomorrow morning? I'll give you a front row seat!" Said the man enthusiastically.
"Oh my god-" started Jerry, recognizing the man. "John F. Kennedy?"
"Well yes-"
"Who's John F. Kenny?" Asked Jefferson, who was from the 19th century. Everyone could tell by his clothes.
"Kennedy. He was the president in the 60's...until the CIA killed him." Jerry replied, not realizing that Jefferson didn't know what the CIA was either.
"What? The CIA? I knew I should've dissolved them. Well gentlemen, I'm disappointed, but not surprised."
Jerry shook JFK's hand. "Jerry."
"You already know my name."
JFK smiled.
"I hope to see you at my speech tomorrow."

Chapter eleven: Mind wiping time.
“You’ll always be…my little girl.” A voice echoed through Hailey’s head from a time she did not recollect. She opened her eyes. Hailey was strapped to a white bed in a white room. This must have been the “hospital” that her father had been talking about. What were they going to do to her? Why was she here? Who was she? Where was she? Who were they? Hailey tried to move but she was paralyzed from whatever they had stabbed her with. Some kind of shot. She could look around with her eyes but she couldn’t close her eyes. What were they doing to her? Suddenly her father or whoever he was and a scientist walked in, talking. They seemed unaware that she could hear them but if they were aware they didn’t seem to care. “What could have triggered her memory to relapse?” Tom asked. The scientist shrugged. “No idea. The only reason I can think of is if…she saw someone she knew once.” He said. Tom shook his head. “No that can’t be it. I erased all her former memories.” Tom said. “Who were you talking about whenever she panicked?”
“The targets…she said she knew one of them.”
“Well…it is possible. You simply erased her memories. I told you that simply erasing her memories would cause insecurities. Just because she look like you-” The scientist began. Tom suddenly reached his hand out in anger and grasped the scientist by the neck and held him in midair. “ENOUGH! YOU WORK FOR ME! YOU WILL DO AS I SAY OR I WILL GET RID OF YOU FOR YOUR INTOLERANCE!” Tom bellowed, his eyes turning black. “Y-yes sir p-please. I’m s-sorry. I was only w-worried f-for you-our h-health.” The scientist managed to choke out, his face turning purple from lack of oxygen. Tom threw the scientist down on the ground and eyed him with disgust. “Go. While I take care of her you go prepare the betrayers for mind wiping.” The scientist nodded, got to his feet and bowed his way out. Her father turned and faced her, his eyes suddenly gentle. His face was deathly pale though. Hailey felt afraid and she desperately wanted to get out but she couldn’t move. Tom reached out and closed her eyes gently with his fingers and Hailey was left in darkness. She felt another needle jab into her elbow. Then she felt him place his hand on her forehead, then slowly his hand began to feel hot. She started to black out but before she did she heard a wail sounding like a dying animal. She was vaguely aware that she was the one wailing.

Chapter 41 ~the aftermath of the raid~
It was a lot of work getting the castle back in order, Queen Frozt had the yeti queens crown melted down to make her own, and then she accidentally stepped on it when she attacked the birds. And then there was the matter of knighting. sir Charles was reinstated as a knight of the highest rank and his wolves were stationed under him, the whole raid party was even knighted, one of the mammoths even cried, which the other mammoth, his wife, of course mocked him for. Sheeri became the new chef because it turns out that was her true passion, her desserts were especially good, particularly the cold ones. “Wait.. so know we’re knights and ninjas.. how’s that gonna work…” Ping said. “FINALLY! Some recognition!” Quan said. “Hmm now I can put Duke and Sir on my grave..” Wan said. “Wait Wan, your a Duke?” Lee asked. “That’s Sir Duke Wan to you!” Wan said. Of course eventually they figured out that Frozt had escaped and they looked for her, but she was long gone. A few days later the wolves, Pengujas, and Ron decided to go search for the Direwolf criminal that they accidentally released. And hopefully find out what happened to Alfred. The Queen herself had no idea who he was, and the old prison guard, who was now in prison for being a loyalist, said he only knew him by name, Khar, but he didn’t know much else, or at least he didn’t let on. They figured this “Khar” was either locked up by Frozt or was in prison even before the Yeti Queen inherited the throne from her father. “There’s no mention of a “‘Khar’” anywhere in these records, maybe it’s an alias.” Ron said. They were in the castle library attempting to find a lead on who this guy was or what he had done. “I don’t get it!” Richard said, “this Khar guy is randomly in prison for reasons literally nobody knows about, and Alfred is gone without a trace! The old guards say he was never executed but then where is he!” “Maybe the Queen had another prison somewhere? Or maybe a mine? The old guards and Sheeri did say she was obsessed with getting that metal stuff.” Evelin said. “Perhaps, but wouldn’t Sheeri or the Chalicotherium know about something like that?” Ron said. “Not necessarily, Reed, the chalicotherium, said that the metal was always shipped to the castle and he never knew from where, and I don’t think Sheeri knew much else other than her orders.” Charles said. “Well, if there is a Mine or prison or something out there, we better find it.” Ron said, “and hopefully we’ll find this “‘Khar”’ on the way.” He said
It was about 26 ft long and weighing as much as a car. This enormous oviraptosaur is far bigger than any of its known relatives. Like all oviraptosaurs gigantasour almost certainly had long, flamboyant feathers on its arms.
Some of its relatives were huanansaurus, Caudipteryx, ajancingenia, Anzu, oviraptor, chirostenotes, Citipatti, and avirmimus.
