I took my level 500 direbear to the hunters cave and easily tamed my dung beetle he is now my best farmer (of making fertilizer) PS:dont tell compost bin i said that.

Save your time instead of taming them build a toilett and mount it poop ONLY 1 time then dismount then flush you will get 2 fertiliezer then mount it again and do the same over and over again.
You can farm it nearly unlimited like this

You can grab Wild Dung Bettles using a Grappling Hook and bring them to a safer place to tame, even on PVE. Works Great on Skull Cave on The Center and probably on caves too.

Ragnarok easy tame.
1) tame a few Rex, save the poop.
2) feed the poop to dung beetle(desert area).
Congratulations you have a beetle...

It is possible for your dung beetle to crawl on a lit forge, which will kill it! So keep it away from any forges if possible.

Just feed it poop you don’t have to knock it out.
