If you want to tame a bunch of these, I recommend finding a high rock or cliff and using a bola on them, it's super effective if you want to tame the whole pack!

Make a trap

Place 3 by 3 foundations.

2 high door frames

Ramps on front

Bed

Gravestone (if you have the mod)

Hit with trank arrows until it starts to run then feed around 15 raw meat tames fast and is found in arctic normally in packs(very annoying when being attacked)

Make a taming pen spot the one you want and swoop in and grab it with an Arg. Drop it in the pen and tranq it. It got three of them in 15 minutes

Try to get one with your argentavis anderen seperate him, from the other ones.

I grabbed mine with my argentavis and dropped him in a taming pen I built near my base and shot him with tranq arrows

Flying over intentionally let them kill your Pteranodon and run to the nearest rock and make a bow and tranq arrows and shoot them until they stop moving then give them Raw Meat

Odd taming method ok but pretty cheap. If you have an argh use it to pick up the wolf then drop the wolf into a 1x1 fence pen that’s 2 fence tall much cheaper than lugging around a big pen

I use a taming pen and go look for the Alpha of the pack. Then I pick up the wolf with an Argy. Then I drop it in the pen and I get bolas. I bola the wolf then shoot with arrows in head. Then starve tame it.

Build a small 2x2 taming pen with 1 block tall walls and use an argy to drop it in. Easy tame.

Be careful wh n trying to tame on foot and use lots of bolas

Pump health my they come out with low health! There like a glass...pistol?

Trap the Dire Wolf in a closed in area either between rocks with it trapped with bolas/Bear traps or hover with a Quetz platform and pick it off from above

When they aggro on to you in the snow area, try to put a mammoth or a rhino in between you and the wolf and take the time you have while they fight and run

If in a pack it will be harder because of you get one the others will try to help it out.

Use a bola and their it and Shoot it but watch out IF There is one wolf theres more

I only value it for gathering resources that animals carry, like Pelt or Chitin. Otherwise, not great. You'd need to use Tranq Arrows or Darts, or maybe an Eleyctro, to tame. Always use Raw Mutton, the most you have to wait with that is 49 min.

Put it in a safe place when taming

Pick up the highest level you can find and fly it to the volcano to trank easier than doing it in the frozen area

I found level 150 in a pack you can easily steal it with an Argy and trap it
