If you need to tame one (witch I recomend) use a bola and either shoot with darts, tranq arrows or hit it with a club after that make sure to have narcotics because they wake up pretty fast jope this tip was helpful

If you need five or ten more meat then chose a wolf then kill the others for more meat and use a prod if you can

Separate them so they don’t get a boost

Taming a Direwold won't be easy becomes they come in packs and can usually be with other creatures like daemons. All you need is a argent and grab one of the wolves but make a trap first before doing this. And bola it, tranq it or club it and give it its preferred kibble or any kind of meat.

Dudes I can tame it wt cooked prime meat faster than raw meat

if you are starving out a level 1 with raw meat bring some narcotics in case it wakes up and eats your face

Easy to knock with toxicant arrows on mobile . Just put some meat in a trough to feed baby’s

Bola all the pack except for one run bola knock set down a chair and watch the paint dry

Get another player and 2 argentivis pick it up make sure health is good and drop close to other player.done.

The best area to find them is near the blue obelisk (aka the ice place) get some meat and your tranq gun, they always come in groups of 4 so knock them all out and you now have a mini direwolf pack

Find them around Whitesky peak, then grab with an argy, and take it away from it’s pack so you can tame/kill it. An all around great mount and companion.

Bolas can snare making taming easy, no saddle needed, live birth so no acs needed to breed. All these together make this tame an amzing first tame that can help your tribe move up quickly.

If you want to tame a bunch of these, I recommend finding a high rock or cliff and using a bola on them, it's super effective if you want to tame the whole pack!

Hit with trank arrows until it starts to run then feed around 15 raw meat tames fast and is found in arctic normally in packs(very annoying when being attacked)

Make a taming pen spot the one you want and swoop in and grab it with an Arg. Drop it in the pen and tranq it. It got three of them in 15 minutes

Try to get one with your argentavis anderen seperate him, from the other ones.

I grabbed mine with my argentavis and dropped him in a taming pen I built near my base and shot him with tranq arrows

Flying over intentionally let them kill your Pteranodon and run to the nearest rock and make a bow and tranq arrows and shoot them until they stop moving then give them Raw Meat

Odd taming method ok but pretty cheap. If you have an argh use it to pick up the wolf then drop the wolf into a 1x1 fence pen that’s 2 fence tall much cheaper than lugging around a big pen
