Best tame for lava cave trust me. Fell into lava pit, I died. Brother and I tried to save wolf multiple times. Ended up saying screw it. Got artifact left cave found wolf above cave. Lava is no match for them.

Ok so.. I live in the hidden lake and I have like 20 dire wolves. And obviously I did the most sensible thing. I made a dire wolf pit of doom and death. Obviously! Ok so I make my wolves all on aggressive then go on my argy and claw something. SO THEN WHEN IT COMES FOR SOME SWEET SWEET REVENGE IT FALLS INTO ITS DOOM. Yea that’s what my life has come to in 2020. :( sigh life ):

One time l bred a dire wolf and checked it for mutations and saw none.

A few days later l bred another one and l got a baby dire wolf.

I checked it's ansetery and saw there were 1 random mutations.

Then l realised. 💀

How to tame: first off, prepare. You’ll need: raw meat, that’s it. All you need to do is go into a group of them and pet them, since they are obviously very similar to dogs. After you pet them, you’ll have a new pet dog to add to your team. If you want something even better, find one with a sort of cloud around it, this means that if you pet it all of the other wolves in the pack will become your pets. Make sure to not wear any armour: this decreases their trust in you and makes taming more difficult.
