Go ice cave on mobile if u want some dire wolve.s They can spawn over level 800 in there. But u need to kill it and get its implant WITHOUT harvesting the body than go to an obelisk or use a revival platform and revive it. Than its just like taming a normal dire wolf. :)

When you go exploring the island and come across them, bola the whole lot, and tame all of them. That way you can bring the whole pack with you and protect yourself wherever you go. Upgrade their stats and breed to get great wolves. (On lost island you can find them on the south side of the map)

Someone said that we should not be able to bola them, and I ABSOLUTELY agree, this thing is way to powerful, great for caves, exploring or fighting any strong Dino’s, and they have a pack bonus, they sniff out creatures or players under 50% hp, they smell artifacts and explorer notes to, great hp, great dmg, great stamina, and it doesn’t even need a saddle 🤯😱😳. Dude if ur on mobile then u NEED to get a wolf from the yeti cave. Here is how to get it at any lv

1. If on a server run in naked and lead a wolf outside the cave climb a ledge and shoot it till it dead and get its implany

2. On sp is a tad bit harder as u see our strat of leading it out wont work as if u leave a cave creatures r refreshed so u gotta kill em in the cave and do same thing

No saddle is needed and you can put a helmet on this guy!

Best way to tame one is to go to snowy biome and get a trap ready (the bigger the better) and when they howl they have found you

All you have to do to knock it out and put regular raw meat in the inventory and wait for it to tame it.

The first time breeding I got triplets was not prepared at all but they all grew up to be strong wolfs

There names are alpine,yukon,and white fang

Put a cage down kill the lower levels and trap alpha in cage and tranq it.

to tame it you should pick it up with an archie, bring it away from it's pack and then shoot him nockout

If on ark mobile get 1 male and 1 female from yeti cave revive outside and breed them, now you have 1 puppy with 100% imprint that will never die in caves. You can cheese your way on anything. Remember to use balm and carno kible .

Easy enough tame with a bola and a decent bow, just make sure you deal with its friends first..

Want to tame a dire wolf? Well, you’ve come to the right place! Before we start here are some tips:

•Don’t approach a whole pack of them. They will tear you to pieces

•The alpha (leader) has an orange red glow when it howls. This also means it’s the strongest

• You can ride them without a saddle on mobile

Now let’s start! You will need to pack:

•1 longneck rifle or 1 crossbow

•10-100 tranq arrows or 10-50 tranq darts ( darts deal more topor)

•20-40 raw meat or 10-30 prime meat

Now when you have that stuff approach a pack or one dire-wolf. Kill off the members of the pack you don’t want. Knock out the ones you do want with your crossbow or Longneck rifle. Feed the raw or prime meat to it and there you go! I hope this was helpful!!

Great defense. You could have a building and have 5 wolves outside. Then when you get raided then the person attempting to raid you finally gets in have like 50 wolves inside that are all strong maybe some mutants but yeah also tons of dimorphs and they over.
