to tame it you should pick it up with an archie, bring it away from it's pack and then shoot him nockout

If on ark mobile get 1 male and 1 female from yeti cave revive outside and breed them, now you have 1 puppy with 100% imprint that will never die in caves. You can cheese your way on anything. Remember to use balm and carno kible .

Direwolves are danger they do like 50 damage do not try to kill and liv 7 still can kill you care full hunting and be fast please!

On mobile, (not sure about pc) you can put helmets on them.

Guys never do what I did so I had a raft and put a trap on it and got to the cold bomie and the direwolves got inside my trap and was happy and when I was happy the direwolves broke my trap broke my bed broke everything but not my raft so do not put wooden walls make stone walls MAKE STONE WALLS MAKE STONE WALLS cuz they can broken wooden walls and make it where it's there's to walls high and do not leave anything open if there no door frame like an bed a storage box or any small animals or any big spaces and if you have anything for me to talk about I can talk more about dinosaur

Go ice cave on mobile if u want some dire wolve.s They can spawn over level 800 in there. But u need to kill it and get its implant WITHOUT harvesting the body than go to an obelisk or use a revival platform and revive it. Than its just like taming a normal dire wolf. :)

Best way to tame one is to go to snowy biome and get a trap ready (the bigger the better) and when they howl they have found you

All you have to do to knock it out and put regular raw meat in the inventory and wait for it to tame it.

The first time breeding I got triplets was not prepared at all but they all grew up to be strong wolfs

There names are alpine,yukon,and white fang

Put a cage down kill the lower levels and trap alpha in cage and tranq it.

Great defense. You could have a building and have 5 wolves outside. Then when you get raided then the person attempting to raid you finally gets in have like 50 wolves inside that are all strong maybe some mutants but yeah also tons of dimorphs and they over.

How to tame a Dire wolf: easiest way (You can be level 18 for it)(trust me its best way)

All You need:

(For level 10)

-3 bolas

-Stack of meat (bcs its includes food for wolf for later)

-optional: kibble

- narcotics

-raft with wooden platform(entrance from ramps)

-bow or crossbow

-5 tranq arrows

-some stone arrows

-campfire (to warm You up while taming)

-food for yourself(i reccomend cooked meat bcs it also heals you, my buddy)

Note:for higer level bring soothing balm

Head to right side winter on your raft( near griffin mt).Swim along beach(stay in deep ocean). Stop when you see some wolves. If you have a spyglass look for one with high level. Then shot to them. Swim a little bit farer. Let one of them (the choosen one) get on raft (shot inneded ones megalodons will help you by killing them). When he/she is on raft fast bola it and tranq it. Drive raft to safe, warm place. Wait for hunger then feed him. Watch torpor.

My original plan to tame on of these was to land my friend on a rock and he shoot didn’t work died twice ok 6 but I recommend to tame this you have a flying make sure it has a lot of health and go in a circle have the direwolf follow you have your friend or anybody shoot it till it’s out…. THEY ARE VERY LONG FRICKIN JUMPERS AND I KILLED ONE JUMPING IN THE WATER AND GOT KILLED BY A JELLYFISH OR WHATEVER THEY ARE CALLED F THEM. It is annoying trying to tame a direwold along good luck taming these annoying big creatures that like to attack you

3. Bola the whole pack
