Taming a direwolf isn't as scary as it seems. You just have to pick out a high level one with your spyglass and use an argentavis to drop is into a 1×1 taming pen and it will be stuck.

This is how I did it,

First I separated the pack, than chose a wolf. Bola and tranq darts work just fine. Just don’t let them get to your mount!

When breeding they have twins and triplets very often. I once had a male with a black body and a cream back with a dark ginger mane and grey paws mate with a female that had a white body and a black back and paws. They had three all black triplets two boys and a girl. The female also had triplets. Either couincidense or they have high chances for triplets.

Warning: DO NOT RUN INTO WATER TO ESCAPE THESE THEY SWIM FASTWR THAN THEY RUN

Direwolves are danger they do like 50 damage do not try to kill and liv 7 still can kill you care full hunting and be fast please!

On mobile, (not sure about pc) you can put helmets on them.

Guys never do what I did so I had a raft and put a trap on it and got to the cold bomie and the direwolves got inside my trap and was happy and when I was happy the direwolves broke my trap broke my bed broke everything but not my raft so do not put wooden walls make stone walls MAKE STONE WALLS MAKE STONE WALLS cuz they can broken wooden walls and make it where it's there's to walls high and do not leave anything open if there no door frame like an bed a storage box or any small animals or any big spaces and if you have anything for me to talk about I can talk more about dinosaur

(ARK Mobile) If it's hard to you to tame a high level at outside, just try to kill the highest Direwolf you can find, then take the creature implant. For the example you saw lvl. 300 wolf, just kill it and take the implant from the dropped bag. After that, look at how much ambers needed to revive it, and if you got enough ambers, revive it and you can bola it and tame it easily without distraction at the Obelisk. (Note: This tip isn't effective because you need quite a lot of ambers. I used 32 last time + 45 for the Major Soothing Balm)

find a high level from snow cave on mobile and get its implant then revive it. congratulations you now have a cave monster

When you go exploring the island and come across them, bola the whole lot, and tame all of them. That way you can bring the whole pack with you and protect yourself wherever you go. Upgrade their stats and breed to get great wolves. (On lost island you can find them on the south side of the map)

To Knock out a Direwolf just grab hin with an Argentavis and Another player Shoots him with tranqdarts or arrows

faster as raptors，no need for saddle，super strong buffs if there is a three（or over three）-wolves pack，as they already have high damage，buffs just makes them deadlier！go for hp that‘s where they are short。a high lv pack could even kill rex easily

Wolf's have sorp Teeth and they are pack hunters and they trap their prey .

If you want a dire wolf get it stuck in a Mountain go on top and blast away

You don't need a saddle to ride

In packs they're very strong

When you ride one it will tell you if there's enemies nearby or dead animals!

Easy to tame these guys in bulk. Just build a stone room with no ceiling, attach a ramp up the wall and run them into the box tranq them out.
