I was getting oil while the rest of my tribe was gathering organic polymer for ghillie armor. While getting oil with anky and snow, anky lvl 60 and snow, my argentavis, was lvl 260. I got jumped by a couple wolves and 2 daedons. Anky died almost immediately, me at lvl 83 died in less than 15 second, and snow was almost dead. Luckily my tribe rescued her just in time. These things are quite dangerous and if you're unprepared they will end you very quickly

If you're playing on Mobile, you can set up two auto-turrets in the second open area of the Strong Cave, and they'll kill all the high level enemies swiftly. You can then grab an implant off a high level wolf and revive it for a super easy high level tame.

The highest lvl wolf of the pack (the number of wolves needed is 2+ for a pack) is the leader.if another Wolf becomes a higher lvl than the pack leader that wolf will be the leader.-DJ Fox7222

While encountering this magnificent specimen . . I highly recommend a tranq gun and some tranq darts. Once you have knocked the wolf unconscious, Me and my tribe recommend to starve it out ( This is a good tactic for any tame ) Once it is starved, Dump a good source into it such as kibble, prime meat, mutton, Etc. Within a couple of minutes it should be tamed and you may now name your newly tamed direwolf . . !

Extremely useful in early game scorched earth mainly for the fact of not needing a saddle to ride

How to tame in 2 methods:

Method 1:

Bola it and knock out with tranqs

Method 2:

Build a trap and use an argy to carry ur wolf to the trap

(The wolf can hit ur argy)

Honestly, just make a trap, get an argentavis, pick up the wanted direwolf, and drop the diré wolf in the trap.

Mobile: Used my mammoth. Climbed in rock the wolves couldn’t get to. Mammoth killed all the low levels. Tamed high level with 2 toxic arrows. 5 prime meat later I got my first puppy. Off to get a high level male and maybe another female.

Sneek into the corner of the ice land. You will slowly lose health so bring warm clothes. Go slowly and cautiously, it’s hard to find one alone. I was very lucky, the pack will separate, and wait for one to go near you.

Bolas work on them, don’t stop punching! Once it loses consciousness, give it about 20-30 meat then leave. It’s torpor is very slow so don’t worry about any narcotics.

Once your inventory spot says it’s tamed, either go find it or teleport it towards yu.

No saddle needed! You have a fire wolf!

Get more every day!

Run straight. Dont look after you. Take bola camp fire meat narcos and slingshot.

Omg, this happended to me ages ago, so I went near the cold zone with my fav argi: Velvet, all of a sudden i hear howling, then next min i turn around to see my argi dead, i was tearing up, i wrote a sign saying: " You where tough and brave, i could always count on you. We wont forget about the friendships we made." R.I.P Velvet ☹️

So the other day I was running around trying to find a argentavis , this abomination said ‘’ HELL NO’’ and killed me. Later I came back with cages and trapped them and gained them. I recommend that you use tranq arrows and don’t waste darts

The reason they are so good at gathering angler gel is cuz of deathworms they drop angler gel

Taming Tip

Get argy

Make a small room at a safe zone (with door)

Trap wolf in the room (kill off any low levels if needed)

Open the door, throw a bola, if you miss close the door, if you trap them knock ‘em out

Feed food of your choice!

Repeat 100 times until you have an army of mass destruction!

So one day I set out from base on a mission to get some dire wolfs,

I took the argy out with me, he didn't come back with me neither did my riot gear......

Build a stone 2x2x1 and grab a argentavis and drop one in the 2x2x1 and tranq away. They can't jump at you to bite you just place a ceiling on the edge of the 2x2x1 and shoot.

They can Strike down high lvl Yuty(Mine lvl 101)in a squad! Up so all players can be cautious!

This is the best take on scorched earth I have an army and still breeding level up health and dmage

I’m on mobile and I killed and revived 2 max level wolves and bred them to make a super OP wolf. He’s currently lvl 446 and I use him to no joke speed run the Ice cave multiple times to gather a lot of rewards and blueprints.
