Tips & Strategies

What are tips for direwolf? Tips and strategies for direwolf in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Gun down all but the alpha, it will lose the boost and you can tame it! If possible, you should bola one or 2 other ones and tame one if they are the opposite gender of the alpha! Happy taming!
Place 4 wood foundations and place door frames on them then place wooden ramps and lead the Doggo into the trap and there you go a nice and easy way to get a wolfie
Great tame for scorched Earth. Tough enough to kill small enemies and hunt small game, quick enough for hunting and fleeing. Jumps are very useful. The howel can be used to help your friends locate you. Can literally be used as an attack dog, and fetch you things if you use the right whistles. Eventually will have alpha boost. And it is a great pet doggie.
One of my favorites.
I underestimated these guys and my lvl 430+ Saber got a hard beating from 'em XD
Luckily, she's a decent Saber and we managed it. Now, I gotta tame some of them to gather pelt 😆
Tamed a lvl 23 I outran and killed like 5 diplos and now my dog is lvl 83 (max level) put a chitin helmet on him and he is legitimately the best tame ever. Ps I killed everything at night and I named my wolf nightstalker he is AWESOME
In a dungeon, these things health SUCKS, but once you revive and tame them, they are AMAZING, mine tamed out at 225, and is now 237, and she is both amazing in looks, and stats. She can kill a lvl 50 bronto in less than thirty seconds. So yeah, these guys are the best (Eerie version looks cool at night, trust me)
Highkey the best "first" tame. I'd find a high level moschops tame it get some levels and then go get a wolf. When you find a pack use the moschops to tank all of the other wolves and just bola one. They are easy to ko and aren't hard to tame with prime meat
On mobile go to artifact of strong cave it has a 250 level wolfs
ARK MOBILE TIP FOR TAMING
MAKE 4 FOUNDATION WOODEN/STONE ABOVE AND PLACE 4×4
8 DOOR FRAME WOODEN/STONE ABOVE COVER FOUNDATION LIKE ROOM
PLACE RAMP WOODEN/STONE
AND TRAP IN AND PLACE BED FRONT OF TRAP AND WAIT NIGHT AND SLEEP AND GIVE KIBBLE/FOOD TAME EASILY AND FASTLY
THIS IS WORK ALL DINO
AKGAMERYT (IAM NOT YOUTUBER)
DO bring dinos or make a trap and make walls so you don’t kill it and do not try to get yourself in trouble with another pack of this VERY STRONG WOLFS or you might find your way in a way more powerful dino
If you want tame a dire wolf with high level craft a large cell and build a revival platform inside it and kill the dire wolf and take the green stone and revive it easy right
How to tame as low lvl in ark (mobile, or not)
Get 2-5 fria curry, meat or prime and a ptera
Have health thingies and 4 foundations, 14 doorframes and 2 ramps, wood at least
Drink fria curry everytime you loose the buff and recover when needed
Find wolf
Build 4x4 trap and 2 doorframe height except from where the ramps are (they jump)
Get the pack in (with ptera for easier) and kill the ones you dont want
MOBILE BUG bed bug: sleep and whatever wolf you hit with tranq first will have its hunger dropped down to 0, meaning that it will tame instantly, or just use soothing balms.
Extra step:
Give them a stack of meat and get back to your house with ptera and request him
Tip:
This guys aggro from a lot far away (like 2 rexes in a line) so get the aggro, get them out, build trap, aggro and get them in.
For cheap but bad method:
High ground, bola, not more to explain
(Apology for bad english if there is)
Comparing this to a sabre is a joke. I tamed both 150 sabre and wolf at the same time and my wolf can take on so much more and surprisingly enough I find the wolf more tanky even though it has no saddle and the melee is just so much better. As well as its so much easier to tame in the first place, half the time the sabretooth dies trying to tranq it.
All you just need to do is just trap or bola it and use an tranq arrows or tranq darts its easy when its knock out sleep when you wake up feed it some nwrcotics and then tame it up with an prime see? There ya go you have an dirwolf now:)
