I knocked one out but it’s not showing anything like taming rise stats, is it a glitch or is my player level too low ( I’m Lv 72 rn) any help would be greatly appreciated:))

A Very under rated tame. High lvl Carno with a decent rider is capable of huge destruction. My Carno Hugo can take 3 theri and multiple troodons at once and not even bat an eye. Hes even took low lvl rex. A must have early game and even mid/end game is still a reliable mount.

Don't fight it instantly Go build a trap from door frames and 2 Ramps Then Lead the crano there and There you go You got a carno

To tame these tiny armed Dino you should make a trap 4/6 fountains 2 thick 2 door frames high door frames because most Dino’s can’t fit in them but you can escape from all around and 4 wooden ramps so the carno can get in then you make the trap you can use wood but I would recommend stone carnos can’t brake stone and 2 cross bows or 4 bows and lots of nars especially if your on official normal u should be fine so how the taming goes so get your trap ready so shoot it with cross bow far away form it because it’s faster then you so when it about to hit you jump in to the trap when the carno is in get out and start nocking it out hope this was helpful for you all

If you want to tame a carno prefer using a crossbow and tanq arrows if your gonna take a high lvl one then your gonna need like 10-15 tanq arrows but they can get down pretty fast on lvl 1 cause you need only 2 tanq arrows and a cross bow/up so starters can see

EZ Trap-less Taming Method

⚠️Do not attempt this if the Carno is in a pack!⚠️

Ride a raptor with your taming weapon of choice, preferably a bow + tranq arrows or better. As long as your raptor isn’t encumbered you can out run the Carno! I suggest pumping some movement speed points in your raptor but this is not necessary (I didn’t). Shoot the Carno with your tranqs and chase it once it flees. They’ll be knocked out and then you’re free to tame it! I did this on a lvl. 55 female Carno and it worked (I named her Éclair).

There guy are ez if you know what you’re doing. But if you are low lvl (under 10) just stay away. But 20 and over theses guys are pretty good for taming. Pretty fast. Pretty good damage. You’ll need tranq arrows. A bow. And random passive you found. (bronto little cousin works best with good health and will only knock it back but no damage) Don’t use a dodo. Just don’t. First, have your stuff. Then find one and lead it to a decent health passive and run past the passive and hopefully it targets it. Then knock it out. Give it meat. And be annoyed that it takes so long and you’re in the middle of redwood.

If it's chasing you and you're lucky enough to have attracted its attention without its mate try to run past another dinosaur that will defend itself. That will distract it then you can shoot it with your trank darts but once it starts torp running make sure you kill the other dinosaur cuz it will chase it and kill it once it goes down that's how I did it.

how get carno

1. make a trap

2. tranq it ( make sure it's a good level )

3. give good meat

4. it tame

5. name it toro in the name of our lost brother 💔

6. farm easy stuff ( parrys, carbos, dodo)

7. level it up ( preferably health, damage, and weight )

8. go ham

If your up against a lvl 5 carnivore or something it usually has about 450 torpor so around 10 tranq arrows would be enough, if you have a trike and your shooting arrows from it you will probably be fine as long as the trike has more health than the carno. I hope this helps starters!

This thing is a good tame in between a raptor and a allosaurus…it’s stronger than a raptor but weaker than a allosaurus

You don't actualy need trap you can use tranq and a tall place and start shooting

Just get highgroumd and bow some narco arrow and shoot them and for eat give him prime meat and some anesthetic fluid and u got him and when u want kill a just tame a few raptors and it’s dead

You know what you can just climb a rock and tranq it then you can feed it prime meat

I found mine in the southern river area near middle zone of the map. Just trapped it in a stone box. I used a couple ramps to let it jump in the box and then tranquilized it. A very easy tame, especially if you have a flying mount to lead the creature into the box. I now get to look forward to actually getting some prime meat! I did a 2 square x 3 square box. Put the ramps on the 3 square side. I’m stacked with raw meat, but it’s going to be a long wait.

If you wanna tame Carnotaurus in ARK build a trap using structures like stone gateways or bear traps, lure the creature inside, then use tranquilizer arrows or darts to knock it unconscious. Feed it raw mutton, raw prime meat, or regular kibble for the best results.

If there low lv they make a pretty easy tame high lv they get anoying make sure to build a trap for high lvs

How to knock out without trap:1.Get a Crossbow and about 15 tranq arrows 2.Get a bait dinosaur(Optimally something tanky so it doesn’t die)3.get the bait dino close to the carno 4.Shoot the carno with the tranq arrows until its knocked out

Step1.be far from the carno or on a cliff (HE IS SO FAST)

Step2.get bow(LVL10)with at least 18 tranq arrows(BUT THEY HAVE TO BE HEDSHOTS) or get more tranq arrow

Step3.shoot at him from a unclimbed place or get the trap

Step4.cry with happiness cuase you finally tamed him

Don't try outrunning it with a raptor if it's a high level,it will easily outspeed you.Try to kill all creatures around because it loses interest easily...
