Just Bring

- Crossbow

- Narc arrows (10-15)

- Maybe a few narcs

- And meats

An easy way to keep a carno at a good enough range to hit it safely with tranquilizers is to build a wall three wide and three tall on fence foundations with two doorways stacked on top of eachother with no doors to shoot through. Then, aggro the carno and lead it to the wall. Then run through the door way to get it stuck and proceed to KO it.

Any X animal takes longer to knock out, takes more to keep knocked out and needs starving for longer

For beginners bring 50 bats or slingshots and beat gim til knocks out then kill dodos for raw meat or fish meat👍🏿

Get on to a high rock and get out your crossbow. 3 shots, anywhere, then it’s out. About 30 min tame. Lvl 48 for saddle. Your welcome

Get a high vantage point than rain down narco arrows until it passes out

Wait about 5 seconds inbetween fireing Tranq arrows. This works especially well with the upgraded version of the bow.

Have your movement speed at 155 and bring it to your stone capsel and have a tribe member close the door when it is inside and have a door at the back to run though

You can't out run it will kill a trex by their self so get it stuck and shoot it KO arrows!!!

So I just now got one unconious, but I did it in the forest/big trees ( heavly populated with them ) and I went on top of a hill in the forest and used a crossbow with tranquilzer arrows, I would really suggest you use it, and just put some meat in it and some narcoberrys and you should be good to go. If it's a high level it will be really difficult.

Use a large bear trap and then fire tranqs whike it trys to get out. It only lasts for 30 seconds each trap i used two it was barley enough to make it low health and started running

Since one of the latest updates it is so easy to knock one of these out. Just shoot the thing with a few arrows and it should become uncoscious. After that give it a Bit of raw meat or prime meat and wait. Done.

Get the Carno stuck in two trees then wack it. Also I could not save mine on Ark it would not let me push accept.

If shots aren't rendering shoot it ne'er the middle

Just use a Quetzal and a tribemate to knock him out.

Grow a pair get 6 friends one to beat drums and hit it with clubs. If you do this correctly it will fly

Just use a long ranged weapon

Though menacing looking it is a lot easier to take on then it looks since it health pool is small I recommend any range weapon to take it on

You can actually tame a Carno pretty easily if you have the right items in Ark: survival evolved (at least on the Nintendo switch). The items I used are:

1-crossbow

2-narcotic arrows

3-raw meat

4- Beelzebuffo

Step one

Mount your Beelzebuffo and shoot the Carno with your crossbow and narcotic arrows from a good distance away

Step two

Jump away from the Carno about two times on your Beelzebuffo and turn and shoot it

Step three

Repeat step two until Carno is knocked out

Step four

But raw meat in the Carno’s inventory and wait for it to tame

Search for a raptor, and find out you can’t find one when you want to. Spot carno on the way. Get bow and tranq arrows, and shoot at the thing until it falls. Forget the stuff to keep it knocked out. Feed it meat, preferably regular to make it hard on yourself, realize that it is going to wake up. Collect berries. Force feed knockout berries. Realize it is taking too long. Tame other small animals (I did a patchy, iguanadon, and two dimorphs. Then you have a tamed carno. Bring prime meat if you do not want to collect berries (you will not get the full experience of realizing you forgot to bring any knockout things).
