If you just knock it out with a tranq dart and give it meat it will take like two seconds to tame with smoothing balm but if it’s above 20 you might want to get something they like better then meat like a type of kibble

These are super easy to kill if you have a pike

After dlc, they got better but way scaryer, with there main attack degenerating armor and there second doing that bleed, a trap is heavily advised

You don’t need taming pens to tame a carno. Just make some big bear traps and shoot it with tranq arrows. When it runs away just shoot some more arrows while making sure not to kill it and it will get knocked out. Then feed it regular meat and have some narcotics ready

Try and get a pteranodon and use it to get far away then load it up with tramways while it’s coming to you by the time it gets to your you’ll have 3-4 arrows and it will start to run when it does you know your close good luck

I have a strategy to build towers around my island on my single player game so stuff can’t reach me so I finally got a carno around my house and I got to to the top of one of my towers so I could tranq it and I seriously suggest this strategy :)

Use tranq arrows then put meat and bio toxin in bam carno

If your taming a level 7 with raw meat bring 15 bio toxins with you

As soon as you get crossbow tame em! Because according to this app its pretty easy to tame a carno, its so easy to tame it should be early game ( unless this app is wrong)

Tenha uma montaria voadora para examinar o local sem chamar muita atenção, leve com vc tmb narcóticos, carne , flechas tranquilizantes . Procure estar em um lugar alto o qual ele n alcance (obs: ele é um ótimo escalador de pedras ) e cmç a atirar dps q ele deitar coloque narcóticos e carne no inventário do carno volte a sua montaria voadora e a cada cinco minutos volte para alimentar ele com os narcóticos . Boa sorte em domar esse carnívoro tão querido

I was tameing a lvl 1 canotaurus and it was atacking me then I got it down then my pets killed it and I hate it

It took me three tranqs to KO a lvl nine

Don't use rocks to tame, they are really good climbers. Only go on Hard cliffs.

Just Bring

- Crossbow

- Narc arrows (10-15)

- Maybe a few narcs

- And meats

An easy way to keep a carno at a good enough range to hit it safely with tranquilizers is to build a wall three wide and three tall on fence foundations with two doorways stacked on top of eachother with no doors to shoot through. Then, aggro the carno and lead it to the wall. Then run through the door way to get it stuck and proceed to KO it.

Any X animal takes longer to knock out, takes more to keep knocked out and needs starving for longer
