A female one attacked our damn Jeep whilst we were searching for gallimimus there

I fought a high level alpha carno my argen couldn't kill it so I got my lv. 151 thylaceo(thyla) to help me and she easily killed the alpha

for context: i only have 30 hours playtime. Most of which are wasted away on deleyed files bc spinos spawn and i don’t wanna mess w them. Barely watch gameplays because i’m stubborn and wanna figure this out game as most as i can on my own. that being said…

here i am, on the beach. level 20, trying to time a level high trike so feel somewhat safe. i had died several times because tranq arrows were failing me. so i decided, why not climb up this suspicious path to this cliff, and get convenient high ground? well… i get to the high ground. look down. carno. i had seen it earlier, but it was up on the cliff far away and decided to tuck the worry away. there shouldn’t have been anything to attract it, right? wrong. there it was. on the beach. by the trike. killing a parasour. i decided to hit it with tranq arrows. read somewhere about 8 should knock it out….. nope. got ultimately destroyed. Gonna go soon and try to either

A) Lure it back up the cliff and away from my temp start up base

B)…Take my chances, spam tranq arrows, and push stacks of raw meat…. Stupid? Maybe. Impossible? Probably. Very Probably. Certainly. But if it works? Genius.

If you encounter a Carno, you can go into some sorts of deep water like a deep river or ocean because they are not good swimmers. If you are prepared to tame one I would recommend kibble and Trang darts out of a longneck rifle. They are fast so a trap such as on with doorways and a ramp. Another idea is sacrificing dinosaurs like Parasaurs and small dinosaurs then shoot it while it is distracted with the other dinosaurs.

It is actually easy to kill just tame some dilos and wait for it to attack a big turtle then shoot it with a bow (keep the dilos on passive while shooting)

if you see a alpha (with particles and fire on it) RUN even if you have a pack of raptors you will lose

Carnos are super damn loud and they sound like stomping and a Motor machine

Coming back from 200m from my base in the foot paw, I saw one attack a wild parasaur, then come after me. I’m a noob so I died.The moral is to never try to tame dilos 😭

For killing the alpha:There is a height in which you can hit it with your flight without being noticed even.My Lv80 Argent with 1500 stamina can easily kill one with several turns of rest and attack.Also valid on alpha raptors.INVALID on alpha rexes.They are so fast and their attack radius is huuuuuuuuuge so their is almost no way you hit it without being re-attacked.

wait to get a pteranadon to attack it. these dinos are really easy to kill. just make sure to keep an eye on stamina and for any surrounding carnivores.

WILD Carnos are just 0.5 units faster than a player with no points in speed, 892 vs. 892.5

If you have one point in movement speed, you should just be able to outrun wild Carnos, but don't count on it.

These are really strong you’ll hear loud stomping and he’s here for you

Carnes are dangerous for new players carnos will be fast if you didn't put any levels into movement speed. You can win the battle by being in a pack of Raptors or a trike.

Don't run into it at low level... you will die

This would probably be your first or second carnivore and it is not that useful in pvp except for the knock back.

Here’s a tip for leveling up fast (I’m on mobile so it depends) After you finish the hunt dilo quest you get a bow that does a lotta ding and if u get a low ding one rip. Just get one and shoot ‘‘em and everything from carnos to dodos. Boom you can get like 3 lvls in like 15 mins or smth. Also lvl up ur health stamina and speed if you wanna be safe you can do this in cloth amor as well but just be extra careful they also drop a good amount of arrows sometimes

How to survive attack: find another dino that can attack and go behind it and the carno will go after that run and hide if worked out

Their is an Island at the top right corner of the map that only has carnos in it.
