When you have tamed it level up it's health and keep it away from fire, to revive it it cost 10 amber

Pretty reliable mount in early game. To kill at low level get the high ground, to tame either attack from up high or lock in a taming box. A few tranq arrows and its down.

This Dino was a lvl 3 and one shotted me. Took all my clothes and half my health

If you have flak armor and a metal pike you can easily kill it and get some easy keratin but if you are exploring the snow biome stay away because they usually hunt in packs of 2-4 with a yuty with them

Hey if u read the get XP notes and run and tranq the Carno tip (PS: That was me) make sure u r FAST ENOUGH before you try it so try to be at like level 40 or over and remember ONLY UPGRADE MOVEMENT SPEED thank u thats all if u see me on a server may name tag is EL_Capitan22 thank u

This is the FASTEST way to tame a Carno…

Step 1: Find XP notes and ONLY upgrade movement speed

Step 2: Find Carno and make sure u at least have a bow and tranq arrows

Step 3: Shoot the Carno and once it gets too close for comfort run only a little bit turn around and shooting repeat the process over and over until it starts running and now chase it down and keep shooting until unconscious feed it meat because it’s a carnivore and boom u have a Carno

PS: U can use the same idea for Rexs Theris Dire Bears Dire wolves Raptors etc

These guys are absolute beasts on abberation

When I saw a raptor, I mounted my carnotourus to kill it, but 6 more raptors came. The raptors killed me and my carnotourus.

You do not need a trap just some tranq arrows and they are one of the best dinos to get

I'm taming one right now actually they are very easy to tame even at lv 50 just use a platform higher than they and you should be good lol I use my neighbors boat XD it takes along time to tame but worth it you need meat to tame at least or get special items for after tame

Use a few reinforced dinosaur gateways. Place them like this (top view)

|_| lead the carno into them and place a fourth, trapping the carno in a box shape. Knock out and feed. Hope this helped you!

Just climb a cliff and u will be safe just like me, or also shoot it with a bow or any ranged weapon and kill it, I level up by killing a carno

If you can’t shot an arrow off a bow on mobile just triple or double tap and then you can shot I had this problem before up if they should fix this

Do not try to tame this thing underwater even though it doesn't show a oxygen tank it still dies

If ur on mobile this is the easiest cave Dino for me. My carno gives me hunter artifact to turn into soothing balm for gigas

I killed a alpha carno by luring it to the water with a bow and killing it with my icthy

For a tip made by me I was rushing and didn’t explain anything but on ark mobile they do not have the bleeding effect but on console they I’m not sure about pc I don’t play that

But now how to tame

I recommend that you find a dence beach or cliff and use a sling or tranq aroows

For meat I recommended 15-20

I don’t starve my creatures but you can if you want to

These things are great to get as early as possible great for hunting with r dilos as they make a great hunting party with the dilos spit slowing the prey and the Carnos doing all the damage this can also be done with raptor and dilos

Where is Carno island? I'm kinda new and playing on Mobile... also I did find a random level 14 Carno and brought it into a cave with me as a pack mule and she died defending me from 15 titanaboas and I killed everything in the cave in revenge

Crossbow cooks low level carno but level 30 is where it gets tricky

On here it says you can carry them with a wyvern but I’ve been trying and I can’t seem to do so idk if it’s wrong or if I just suck 😂
