The carno is a very well balanced meat eater that has decent health, excellent speed, and its above average attack. Be sure to tame at least one once you have a stone base

I found mine in the southern river area near middle zone of the map. Just trapped it in a stone box. I used a couple ramps to let it jump in the box and then tranquilized it. A very easy tame, especially if you have a flying mount to lead the creature into the box. I now get to look forward to actually getting some prime meat! I did a 2 square x 3 square box. Put the ramps on the 3 square side. I’m stacked with raw meat, but it’s going to be a long wait.

Never, EVER try to tame a pack of carnos following a yuty.

Despite being scary for new players, the second you have tranq arrows, they’re quite easy to deal with! If you shoot them once or twice, they’ll actually flee almost immediately, so keep that in mind next time they’re trying to knock you around!

Take a second to look at that wonderful Face OF your huge animal that you just tamed your gradong home..... you noticed your animal IS pasv OH FLIP RUNN if you dont have a saddle for your new tamed animal and a Caro runs for you on low level your done for ;)

I have learnt through my experience that bolas do not work on this one. I repeat bolas do not work

If you already know the carno's footstep sound, dont turn around and run as fast as you can and theres 2 ways to lose this creature: Find a Dino and use it as a bait, just so you dont feel guilty bait is with a turtle and if there is no fvcking dino around, just go through some trees or big stones around and they will lose interest after catching you for a while

Me: BOY YOU BETTER GET YO TWO LEGS AND RUN BEFORE YOU GETTIN IT

Also me: *kills the lvl 95 carno without taking damage*

Me now: *kills a lvl 105 alpha raptor with a sword on bare feet*

I usually find them at redwoods

Pro tip check for raptors before knocing out a carno

If It’s stalking your place just turn all lights off I have 3alphas stalking my place and I couldn’t do anything I ran out of food by day 4 I turned to cooking my tribemates but then they stopped spawning in and the wood ran out in all my lights then they walked away I don’t know if it was a coincidence or not but may help

Very stupid, kite it of a cliff, and shoot at it while it's stuck down there. Just be careful about it running away when almost KO'd. How I got mine.

How to tame a carno,

1. Lead it to a rock,

2. Go on a higher rock that the carno can't get up,

3. Craft about 50 or more of tranq arrows,

4. Shout it with the tranq arrows,

5. Feed it boi toxin and stay close by,

6. Wait until it's hungry bar is empty,

7. Then feed it raw meat or raw prime meat or raw mutton or ect,

8. There you go now you have a carno and have fun with it and i hope i help you and please can you press the one that goes up and have fun.

Shoot Tranq arrows or darts at it from long distance. Only do it if its going after another animal

So I found lvl 125 carno on medium (btw) and I tried to kill it and .......then everything Went wrong lost my bary so RIP. sprinkles I still miss him I cried making this cause sprinkles I MISS YOU SPRINKLES

Use a beleezebufo hop on a stone that's around or a bit taller than the carno, lick it til it runs and let loose a tranq or 2, worked for me

How to escape a carno: first look for any Dino that is neutral but if there’s no neutral Dinos like a trike or something your dead

Carnotauruses are easy to kill

First you gotta find a brontosaurs

Then make your carnotaurus follow you

Lead him to the brontosauras

Put a hide sleeping bag (only if you're low lvl)

Let your carnotaurus bite you and along with you it will bite the brontosaurs

Respawn at your sleeping bag

Watch the epic battle

Enjoy your carno loot

How to tame a Carno. Number 1, get regular kibble (if you have any), some narcos, Tranq arrows, crossbow, Four stone foundations, 8 stone door frame, and 2 wooden ramps. Number 2, Set up the trap, and lead the carno to the trap. Number 3, Knock it out until knocked out and feed it regular kibble or raw prime meat or raw meat. Make sure to secure the area. And boom! Carno tamed. Good for traveling.
