I tried to take a bronto yesterday and it killed me three times. These things are killing machines when you kill them though. I guarantee that it will change your arm experience. Make sure you get a lot of tranq arrows and a lot of berries. And do not let him fall in the ocean. It will kill him fast.

When you are next to one and a spino just punch the spino in the face and run so you can watch the battle.

From a quick test they do seem to gather more thatch than the megaleceros from hitting a singular tree.

Fun fact: You can avoid brontos tail swipe, if it swipe to the right then run to the left, if opposite go to the right.

I tamed all my brontos by using this method

It's SOOOOOOOO easy all you need to do is make a stone tower with swirly stiars 15 walls tall stand on top and shoot with 200 tranquil arrows put a Smithy up there with matrices to repair crossbow make sure to have at least 2 exceptional kibble i tamed a 150 bronto that way.

If you’re going on a run for heavy resources, have your bronto follow you. It’s basically a massive walking storage.

In Ark Mobile, you can have 126 structures on the Bronto, there's no need to build a smithy as I just use argies and set them on follow or mortar as i have Equus and casteroides. Have another platform bronto of the opposite sex on follow to get mate boost. One could be a dino carrier and be built as a tank(hp, speed, weight), the other for damage (melee, speed and hp)

Not sure what the platform saddle cap is but highest armor is 408 from many dungeon runs. Use a gold chain for an additional 50 armour, 30% more carry weight, 20% more movement speed, 10% more health, 30% faster attack speed and stamina. Have a fully imprinted bronto for another 20% bonus HP, Attack, Weight and Speed.

Always keep veggie cakes, store it in a tek trough and your bronto will be near invincible or at a minimum stronger than a titanosaur and giga which you can hunt with ease. Use turrets, arthropleura or chalicotherium on turret mode to help speed things up. If you want to level up quickly chronical it and set up a revival platform in the yeti cave, or use a teleporter to get it to level up quickly.

They're going to be the closest thing to dino supercarrier in the game.

If you have a tamed one with a saddle and need to get down safely, wait for them to eat (or force feed them) then quickly run to their head and you have a slide down to the ground. 👍

Understand: These are one of the strongest dinos in ARK. Breed two high level brontos and you get ultimate killing machines. I have tamed a lvl 135 one and it killed ALMOST EVERYONE!!!! Utility: Go to the forest and use the attack button to get thousands of berries.

Dis bad boy don't get stuck in trees like every other dino it just stomps em down.

Its attack radius is so large it can destroy all bushes in the map

I recommend Taming a low level Bronto earlie game even if you don't have the saddle. Just get up on a hill where they can't get you and shout it with tranqu arrows until it's knocked out. Then feed it berries and... You have a gigantic beast of destruction! HAVE FUN WITH YOUR NEW BRONTO!

If you have a tapejara you can hover above them and shoot the from the back seat of the saddle. Makes it super easy to tame just saying

This thing right here can wipe out full wooden bases and kill your cat named tofu rip tofu

Pros:

- huge carry weight

- can build base on its platform saddle, problem is you need level 90+ to unlock

- the ole regular saddle works just fine but it's just you and the bronto

- excellent soaker/tank on PVP/PVE

- surprisingly good at killing things without worry getting killed

- berry farm like nothing ever farm berries before

- also tons of thatch and some wood

Cons

- have only three speed: slow, very slow, and reverse

DO NOT! And I repeat DO NOT! Steal one of their eggs when they are right next to it as a beginner because it will charge after you for quite a while and try to kill you.

Beware of these if you are starter. They are not aggressive unless you hit them first. If you are a starter, DONT even think about it. A while ago, it trashed my thatch house, and tried to kill my dodos, dilophosaur and my parasaur. If you want to get rid of it, get across a river, or go further away from where you are, and then shoot it with a ranged weapon. When it comes to you, just quit and rejoin, and it wont disturb you again. They also stomp around, shake your screen and are very loud. They have loads of health and do good damage, and are a great tame if available.

To Tame Simply Get to a high Place where the bronto can’t reach you, preferably a steel cliff, if your taming a low level bronto it can range from about 20 arrows to 150 arrows, (tranq Arrows) you can tame them very easily at herbivore island because there’s no Carniovers and there’s Steep cliffs, there is also quite an abundance of bronto there as well, if your taming a high level bronto you might need something else then Tranq arrows
