(ps4) L2 next to a surface to climb. Can move tames around, just be careful not to reel them in all the way.. or they die. Press the right joystick down to swipe/attack. Can swim in water if you make it follow you under. Bonus fact: On the giant trees there are rare mushroom sprouts, crystals with green gems, and islands with trees (one has a full lake!)

A level 25 is 220 BP to take on a 1x server. I ran out of grappling hooks to get where they were so used the crystal Wyvern method with a twist (Hopped on my wyvern’s back, positioned myself so I wouldn’t fall off, looked through the spyglass at the stalker I wanted, whistled attack my target, the Wyvern flew up to attack it and I whistled passive when it got in the stalkers aggro range and then waited to be webbed up 🤣 I also had a parachutes just in case I fell off or the stalker dropped me)

If you’re able to try to find one that is alone since they can grab you away from another bloodstalker

Server rates like x2 don't seem to affect blood pack amount consumed

On official a 135 took 1097 blood packs with no sacrifices

There is a weird glitch were they can glitch in walls/floors of rafts and bases.

Update so the dogs can see and fix

Very good first tame great for pvp.

I found the best spot to find them is in middle in a valley

My son and his mate just tamed a lvl 55......it took 137 blood bags.

On flier enabled servers, have a friend whistle follow your bird once you are webbed or else your Argy might end up a meal. Lost my Argy when a 140 webbed me, then his “friend” webbed my bird. Had to watch helplessly as my bird was eaten in front of me. Tamed a 140, though.

Always carry extra blood bags. ALWAYS. They can pull you right off the back of your tame, even if it’s another bloodstalker. If you get a level you like and tame it, cryo it so you don’t “lose” it if another webs you. Still can’t find my LVL 22. Looked everywhere. They will eat unattended bloodstalkers. If you don’t have enough blood bags and it webs you and you don’t escape, parachute away, and get out, retrieving your bag is a nightmare. Don’t bring anything with you that you aren’t willing to lose.

If you bring enough blood bags and you are unintentionally webbed, well now you have a new friend. Enjoy.

When raising they don’t eat cooked meat.

Be very careful in bloodstalker territory they are very dangerous if they grab you try to kill them before you get to them If you fail start punching them but if they let you go you will problem wall to you death

Breeding.....once egg is dropped, it can not be picked up.

Just now on small tribes I tamed a 145 m with 110 blood packs

Even after the patch, I tried to tame a level 50 bloodstalker and it took all 95 of my blood packs and killed me. Don’t trust Dododex’s numbers right now. Overprepare by bringing plenty extra blood packs.

It was a bug but on xbox as far as I know its fixed 150s take 100 to 150 blood packs to tame on small tribes rates

Bloodstalker taming is broken right now. Approximately 20 blood bags for a 150. (PS4, 2/29/2020)
