The Lost Stories: Crystal Isles (Chapter 3: Dreams aren’t always Dreams.)

As the chieftain walked to the dragon statue, I thought that I probably couldn’t trust this tribe. If I couldn’t, well, I’m out. The chieftain stood and asked questions like what happened with the Wyverns. I lied to most of the questions. Eventually, someone came into the deserted area and handed me a medical brew for my wound. As a precaution, I tested a drop on a bug that was nearby. It almost instantly knocked it out. “Well…” I said narrowing my eyes. I dropped the bug, got the spear, and it instantly grew into a sharp metal weapon. “Whoa! That was not meant to be drugged!” The chieftain said. I looked at him in his eyes hard and cold and sensed that he was lying. After a little while he sighed and said, “Well, you’ve got me.” Along with a cruel little smile. “What!?” Both of the riders said simultaneously. “We’ll,” the chieftain said, “I couldn’t have let a asset who can turn into a Wyvern, speak prophecy’s, and fight so well? We could rule the ark.” People started gathering in a ring around the statue, readying for a fight. About 10 people in total. I pulled the ghilie hood over my face and until much later, I realized that it wasn’t ghilie. It was black clothes with a untraceable thin armor under it. And after, I realized that it had a also placed a dark blue painted with a little white and and flame red helmet that fully hid my features, with only a dark visor to see out. The chieftain stepped back a little then seemed to gather up courage. “You can’t possibly go through all of us, especially when we have shot guns and you only have a weird spear, a bow, and a knife.” He said. “But-“ Amber said behind me “But why do we have to?…..” she trailed off at the look Claw gave her. “That, that is a good question. Why do people have so much greed? Why do they have desire to take power?” A familiar voice said. The person stepped into the light and it was Alexandria. I grinned as she leisurely walked to where I was, and she was there flesh and bone. “Who are you?” voice full of barely constrained rage. “You know who I am.” Alex said back. He drew his gun and was about to attack before I smacked him with my spear and he fell, knocked out, and me and Alex continued to do the same with the rest except for the riders, who leaned back with their hands close, surprised at the sudden fighting. A few bullets hit me, but they sparked against the armor I discovered. When the fighting stopped, Alex said “follow me.” And grappled up into a hole in the ceiling. I looked at the riders, then followed her to a flat where there were 2 tropeganthus waiting. They flew far away into the beaches of Crystal, as Alex said things like, “I can’t believe your here!” And “It’s so good to see you!” They landed at a small stone base hidden high in a Crystal, and walked inside. “I still can’t believe that you here, I thought you died.” I said, shaking my head. “We’ll, life has surprises, right?” She said. Alex handed me a medical brew for the wound, and said “You should sleep.” I protested slightly but followed her to a small room with a bed and when she left, I fell into and almost instantly fell asleep. But, dreams aren’t always dreams. They can transport you. They can live your lives. As she woke up laying on the floor of a wooden house, there was a swampy smell to the air, and there was a floating thing right next to her. “Hi! I’m HLN-A, a fractal personality designed to be your guide.” HLN-A said in a female voice. “Um… where am I?” I asked. HLN-A replied, “The genesis simulation.”
