And I read chapter twenty seven!! “Man, you think we can eat it?” “We shall not! Do you, by chance, know the tale of the Golden Egg?” LOL. 🤣I feel sorry for Simon and Bobby. Poor guys they don’t know what it is.

Ben, I get what you mean on being behind. I feel like I should be somewhere between chapter 50 and chapter 60, but I have had writers block for Journey and was stuck on 40. I finally broke through, Ultimus actually helped me with that. But don’t worry if you’re behind. Just keep working on it and you’ll be fine!!
Sunnyfox, I’ve been meaning to say this, I think that my favorite series title is The Riddles of the phoenixes series. Definitely sounds the best one to me!! Also Moon said to Rune in Achatina that she would put animations on her future YouTube channel.

Sunny, I totally understand not wanting to watch the animated series I’ll be watching it just because I really want to see the Dino stuff.. also it’s really hard to avoid it… I’ll report back to you once I see how much There is. My guess is it’s probably only the first episode and then flashbacks (until season 3 because of mei yin and Diana..) but I’ll see. It really makes me mad that they can’t just put it in as a background thing no they gotta base like half of the show/movie/game off of it and every single character who hears about it is just unrealisticlly ecstatic, like they wouldn’t be making such a big deal about it if it was a man and a woman but since it’s two of the same gender neither of them can die, everyone has to be super excited, they CONSTANTLY talk about it and they have to have a perfect relationship. It just gets redundant and repetitive and takes away from the overall plot. Sometimes they don’t do this like the Jurassic world Netflix show didn’t make a huge deal about it but like dragon prince dedicated basically half a season to it, it got to the point where I just skipped it all because it was completely unimportant they were literally background characters that didn’t really matter at all but they gave their love like three scenes an episode.. anyway I’ll tell you how far wildcard went, but my guess is very far based on their track record..

Also Sunnyfox, I just went and read it. It isn’t just you being targeted. It’s all fan fiction. He just brought up you as he’s already encountered you. But his point is that none of us should be writing our fan fiction in the story section. And that the story section should be only for true Ark stories. Which has already been declared that fan fiction is allowed by the website designer of Dododex. So don’t take it personally as he was aiming for all fan fiction writers here.

PrimalApex thanks for reading Chapter 33! And that’s really cool how Ultimus’ name was inspired by that Latin prophecy I sent. And you’re totally right, The Last One does not sound as cool as Ultimus. I think this is going to be a great story, I guess I’ll be waiting for it when the next chapter drops next week! You’re a great writer I’m glad you’re here.
Anyway, I was digging around the Dex and noticed this odd story. I may have talked about it already (I think I was criticizing stories that are just scripts), but one of the characters in this story is named Moon. Now this may just be a coincidence as it’s a creature story, but I’m very suspicious about it because a chapter was posted named “Moon’s Birthday”, get this, on Moon’s birthday. Now maybe I shouldn’t be speaking since most of the characters in my story are based off real writers here, but I always am open to change, retcon, or remove characters if the original requests. Besides, I always treat these characters with utmost respect as they deserve it for being excellent writers here on this platform. But this person is using “Moon” in a really weird way… Earlier chapters portray her in a romantic relationship with this other character and if the character is based off the real Moon then it’s frankly disturbing and gross. This person hasn’t posted in a hot while, but still.
If anyone can, please go check it out. I don’t really know how to proceed from here on out. I kind of want a second perspective on this, yk? Maybe it’d be cool if Moon saw this. It’s in Fasolasuchus, if anyone’s wondering and the story is called The Incubator. Thanks in advance.
Ben, to answer your question. I just started it(though it based on a concept for a fanfic trailer I wanted to do years ago), I’m only releasing a chapter a week starting off. I already have the next one ready. I started writing it in the middle of the inactivity point and SandmasterXD bringing up about having a new event on Saturdays made me decide to have it ready for this Saturday. I’m glad you liked it and glad you like the title! I actually came up with it because of you with your riddles in Latin. I was going to use The Last One as a Title, but it didn’t really sound good and so I thought about using it in a different language and went with Latin. I’m excited to show this one!! Not as much as Journey of course but still excited!!!!

“Empires fall.” Chap3
“Everyone sit.” Blood announces to his captains in a bunker below the fort. “Last night it has dawned on me that soon enough we will have to ether give up. Or escape base...” He says with regret. “Any of you have ideas?” Blood asks. “Sadly I do not... I don’t think any of us do” A captain replies. An uncomfortable silence follows. Blood buries his head in on of his hands and scratchs the back of his head with the other hand. “I have heard from some sources that a gurrelia group will be within 1 mile of here...” Blood says. “Would it be possible to get at least a third of our forces out by Friday?” He asks. “Yes general. I think so.” A captain answers. Blood gives a sigh and then gets up. “Meeting dismissed” he mumbled as he exists the bunker and back up into the base.
Hey Ben, and you too KM! Thanks for taking the time to read my story! I do see how the human x shapeshifter thing could be weird, and how others wouldn't get it. The shapeshifters are kind of meant to be sentient on the level that a kitsune is- like human level sentient, and I see that you understand that. It was kind of a tribute to the kitsune x human thing that happens in Japanese mythology a lot. But yeah, weird, right. Also, my next story definitely isn't going to be like that. Thanks for reading!
