On mobile, there’s a glitch when you leave the game and return, these snails appear to have full 100 paste and 100 organic polymer

They are found in and around the swamp biome and can be carried by all mounts with a carry function

Infinite cementing paste hack:

Step1: make 5 cakes

Step2: blast some random sail in the head and feed it

Step3: Name it “Gary”

Step 4: set to wander

Step 5: lock it up in a cage for the rest of its worthless life and throw the key in a industrial grinder

They are also found in the red wood. A lot more safer then going around in the swamp trying to find one

Anyone who says don't take is an idiot... Theses guys aren't hard to take care of. I use to own 20 snails before I left the game a year ago. What's hard is getting bee hives for their honey. Once you have a hive and sap collectors. It's a piece of cake (no pun intended)

Lastly DO NOT GO FOR ANYTHING LOW LEVELED! Just like another wrong person said. Low level is very bad. Go for 110 or greater as it's food will be much higher and that means less feeding of cakes. Mine were so high, I didn't need to feed but ever 10 days or more. So worth the investment.

Lastly, like someone else said. Theses guys are really good at escape. Far worse than dung Beatles 😅 Dino leash works fine for me. Though tried wooden cages in the past and they got out. So either weigh down or dino leash down on the lowest setting (depending on how many snails you got)

So in the end. A worthy investment period. Just a pain on the honey...

They worth the veggie cake. It gives 100 paste and organic polymer. Just level up their food so they won't be hungry fast.

I have 2 bee hives and 7 tree sap taps (important to make veggie cakes). I can produce more cakes than what my 2 achatina can consume at a time. Now, I never run out of paste and have a lot of veggie cakes (I needed separate refrigerator just for my cakes)

Be very carful of health when you tame them because they don’t fight at all you can pick one up from swamp and shoot it once and kill if it was being attacked by something before

If you want to tame it on a swap, but you're afraid that you will get sneak attacked by any of the 3 horseman of the swamp, just kidnap it with a preta and land it near your base, then you tame it without many troubles.

Line 10 in a half circle. Put stone in inventory so they can't move. Put dino leash down on lowest setting, just incase. They are very good escape artist. Place gacha down and let gacha pick up all the paste. Getting 200 stacks a day. Better than farming. Only upgrade weight in gacha and food in snails.

Encountering

General

If engaged and damaged, the Achatina will retreat into its shell and will neither flee nor fight back. Damage dealt to the Achatina will be heavily reduced for as long as it is inside of its shell. Achatinas do however drop a considerable amount of chitin when harvested, so they are a worthy kill for those looking to collect it, at the expense of the time and effort needed to kill one.

Strategy

Although the Achatina itself is not dangerous, its surroundings are usually filled with dangerous predators. Clear the area of hostile creatures before attempting to tame Achatinas, or pick them up with a flying mount. An Argentavis can carry two Achatina at once when using its claws and beak.

Weaponry

Any weapon or creature will be able to sufficiently kill an Achatina given a little time, though one should shoot the achatina with tranquilizer darts to knock it out for taming, as there is little benefit from exterminating them.

Weaknesses

Wild Achatina sometimes take damage over time randomly as a result of being knocked out by titanoboas, waking up, and having their food lowered to 0 in the process.

Achatina - wild and domesticated - do not and cannot fight back when attacked.

Dont tame it unless you have tons of cake

I think it's krakens better dino you can't feed it berries in vanilla ark be aware! They will require so much cake so better not tame one . hope this was helpfull it's my first time writing a tip •~•

entry three: when attempting to obtain this creature there are several strategies that will sufice grabbing them with a flying creature to take them to a safer place is the best option when at your home you can make an area to keep them from moving and either tame them or leave them wild and take the paste they make
