Anyone who says don't take is an idiot... Theses guys aren't hard to take care of. I use to own 20 snails before I left the game a year ago. What's hard is getting bee hives for their honey. Once you have a hive and sap collectors. It's a piece of cake (no pun intended)
Lastly DO NOT GO FOR ANYTHING LOW LEVELED! Just like another wrong person said. Low level is very bad. Go for 110 or greater as it's food will be much higher and that means less feeding of cakes. Mine were so high, I didn't need to feed but ever 10 days or more. So worth the investment.
Lastly, like someone else said. Theses guys are really good at escape. Far worse than dung Beatles π Dino leash works fine for me. Though tried wooden cages in the past and they got out. So either weigh down or dino leash down on the lowest setting (depending on how many snails you got)
So in the end. A worthy investment period. Just a pain on the honey...
More Achatina Utility Tips
STOP saying that it drops angler gel, this is only true on mobile. spread the word!
You have to enable wandering for it to passively generate cementing paste, so build a small pen for them to slime around in then go collect your reward. Also, donβt use a feeding troughβ¦The cake spoils too quickly for how hard it is to make, I recommend hand feeding them before you get off each day, it will save you A LOT of resources and they will not die from starvation in that amount of time. Hope this helps ππΌ
When tamed, the Achatina can produce Achatina paste, an alternative to cementing paste, passively when on wandering. You could also collect it when they are moving, their paste/slime will be on the ground shaped in a similar feces ball.
Only eat veggie cakes even when tamed, do t get fooled.
Just tame 5 or 10 of these and put inside them a lot of Stone or something heavy so they cannot move when you put them into patrol. With that, they passively generated 100 achatina paste every hour. When you don't take those achatina paste, they start to generate organic Polymer. Just make sure those snaila cannot move and you have a nice auto-paste farming.
ONLY LEVEL UP ITS FOOD. Tame high level snails only, as they have high food stats. Cakes are expensive, so you want to go as long as possible without having to feed the snails.
They passively generate a substitute for cementing paste when tamed if you donβt have beavers in your server, tame one once found idk how to tame it tho
Will only eat Sweet Veggie Cakes even after being tamed! Each cake fills the food by about 200. Poops paste as well as prudces paste in inventory but ceases production once 100 paste is in inventory. Increases organic polymer spoil timer by 3x
Stick them on Wonder in a wood cage can still access inventory without opening cage and get that jucie paste that no-one can get from beaver dambs because silly people built in their spawns
You can put a gascha close to them and it will pick up all the paste the snails are dropping π
