Stories Tips

What are some stories about the wyvern? Memorable wyvern stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
Poem about wyverns
There is a wyvern in the air
Don’t fight them, the battle will not be fair
You can tame the beast
Just go to the nest
And show your the best
Do not try to fight them
They will bring pain
They may break almost every vein
You can get fire
Then your power is dire
You can get lightning
You must have good aim
And show your good at the game
You can get poison
They will cause an implosion
They can take a hit too
They hatch in roaring flames
You must raise them
And get milk from which they came
They will become a powerful beast
They kill themselves a dinosaur feast
They will unlock legendary feats
Just make sure your not the one under their feet
So I tamed an ice Wyvern in Valguero and flew it back to my base. Then I had to log off, and when I logged back on later, it said that I had died and I couldn’t find my Wyvern anywhere, I thought it was dead. And I live on a cliff. So I was looking around for something new to tame and I saw my Wyvern had fallen down the cliff but was STILL ALIVE! I flew him back up and now we live happily ever after.

Chapter two
Talk about home
(Thanks Ben and KM for the suggestion and I didn’t know rhyniognathas and forest wyverns doesn’t exist on Ragnarök)
They managed to get away somehow as the group rested in a cave that was when Elm spoke up “We have to fix your wing somehow Puffin like jasper can’t always carry you it’ll take to much time” “What do you suggest we do then? We can’t stitch my wing up with one large piece of hide or a parachute we can’t stitch anything in the first place” Puffin huffed. “I learned to stitch with my mouth, no duh I’m a wyvern, my culture and tradition back in my home was that girls do girly stuff like knitting and crochet and take take of the wounded and more so like a tribal tribe type thing” Elm said. “Cause we are talking about traditions I’ll say mine, my kingdom is that males are paired with females from their or other kingdoms but males have a choice to choose, males are basically the future but kids were always extra mouths to feed, and cause I had mutations I was valued and I was spoiled but my family wasn’t perfect and I felt like my parents don’t look like me or any of my kind I like more dragon but I’m a fire wyvern from what I know” Jasper said, “I’ll go then…..My customs and traditions is that we are all place in a hierarchy all kids who were hatch were places at 12th the worse and the first place is most preferred and it all goes to how well you can hunt, fight, and hold your ground and cause I got a burn on my wing I knew I couldn’t return but I did and I got laughed at for it so I left, and I save you guys because you seemed like decent wyverns and plus Elm you do realize that forest wyverns aren’t native here right?” Puffin said, “They….Don’t? I thought they did my parents said they did” Elm said confused. “She’s right Elm forest wyverns don’t exist nor are they native here” jasper said. “Now talk about home” puffin snorted. “Jasper stay here with Puffin I’ll try to get something for puffins wing and I have a needle to and some strings for stitching” Elm said as she took off. “Always ready I like her she can stand her ground” Puffin chuckled. “Yeah she can, anyways how does your kingdom treat other dinosaurs” Jasper said and asked. “We treat them like prey or lesser beings and yours?” Puffin said and asked Jasper back. “We treat them like prey to but we also see them as allies but I don’t believe that as we only treat them like prey and prisoners” jasper responded. As Elm came back with a large piece of hide and said “Alright puffin lay your wing flat” and puffin did what elm said. After Elm was finished it wasn’t the best but it wasn’t the worst but it was gonna have to do it was tight enough to fly but probably not enough for wild thunder storms. “Soooo, why’d you save us puffin?” Elm asked. “I told you didn’t I? Never mind I’ll explain again I saved you guys cause you seem decent and cause you don’t look like my kind and I felt like we were destined to meet?” Puffin responded. “So like that feeling if you know what I mean” Jasper spoke up “Yeah basically” puffin responded. So the group went on about their day flying through the clouds and the sky before they stopped to rest and elm decided to tighten the stitch up.

Chapter one
Book one
Taking flight
Right now Elm and jasper was soaring through the air, no words were said as jasper wasn’t the type to start a conversation. “So you’re a runaway?” Elm asked “I am I hated my life back at home but running away felt like the best decision I made despite me not knowing how to fight” Jasper responded. “I can teach you sometime, I mean I’m not the best teacher but I can teach you” Elm offered. “Sure, I don’t mind some training….So what are you doing all alone anyway?” Jasper asked. “I am also a runaway but I’m a traveler” elm responded. Jasper didn’t say anything back. “I thought fire wyverns don’t have any horns but you have a nose and chin spike and double horns, why is that traits?” Elm asked, “Yeah rare traits that were gone over the years but I have seen some wyverns with horns” Jasper responded and added. As they landed down on the ground they were met with a hostile ice wyvern who blasted them but Jasper blasted back the impact of both fire and ice hitting each other and thus cancelling each other out. “We are not here to fight!” Both Jasper and Elm said in sync. “Really?” The ice wyvern said. “I don’t trust you” they snarled before running off. “Why didn’t they fly?” Elm spoke up “I don’t know but let’s keep going” jasper responded. Five hours later in the afternoon they were walking and Elm spoke up “you think the ice wyvern is coming with us?” “I do hope so” jasper responded. Then Elm and Jasper were attack they were outnumbered but barely outmatched that was until the same ice wyvern from before shooed them away, the most notable feature of the ice wyvern was its severely burnt wing and they probably couldn’t fly. “C’mon follow me and you can stay and I’ll be following and going with you guys on your little adventure and the names Puffin” Puffin huffed, but the two wyverns didn’t complain I mean puffin the ice wyvern didn’t save their lives, as the trio walked around ragnarök they came across a den which was probably puffin’s temporary den. “I don’t have much but I don’t want complaining either” puffin snapped. “Are you a girl or a boy-“ Elm bluntly said and then getting wing smacked by Jasper. “I’m a nonbinary so I’m either” puffin responded. “What…Happened to your wing if you don’t mind me asking” Jasper said. “It got burned by a wyvern it wasn’t a fire, poison, lighting, it was a ember crystal wyvern I managed to kill it but I got my wing burnt badly so I couldn’t go back and I can’t cause I’m basically useless” puffin responded. “Let’s stay here and we’ll go tomorrow to wherever you guys are going” Puffin said.
The next day
Puffin, Elm, and Jasper were flying around ragnarök, with puffin on Jaspers back, as Jasper was strong and large enough to do so. “I haven’t been in the sky for so long” puffin yawned. “I bet, I mean with a wing injury like that” Elm added. “I don’t need your opinion Forest wyvern” Puffin snarled. “Stop fighting you two and Puffin you wanted to come along” Jasper intervened before the argument got heated. Then they landed down on the beach and Puffin jumped off of Jaspers back to snatch up a dodo and eat it, as jasper and Elm snatched some up and ate them too. “Talk about overpopulation of dumb birds” Puffin joked. “I can see that” Elm said. “Yeah let’s snatch and eat some up and rest before we continue” Jasper added. As the trio rest up and ate, as Puffin got on Jaspers back and the trio took off to the skies, but then something big and huge was following them and attacked them. “Rhyniognatha!” Elm yelled. “Alright then Elm follow me I’ll try to lose it and Puffin hold on tight!” Jasper yelled. As it was a game of cat and mouse. “Don’t Rhyniognathas chase other things but wild wyverns?” Puffin said. “I don’t know I never seen a Rhyniognatha chase a wyvern before!” Elm huffed. Could they survive? Yeah probably as long as the lost sight of the Rhyniognatha.

Chapter 4
- HGA ttg The Nazgûl
“Captain Slither, the last group of captives has just arrived.” This came from a wyvern who Slither had sent out a couple days ago to get wyverns for Draco’s army.
“Gather the prisoners together, I will come out in a moment.” Slither has been ordered by Draco to build him an army. Frankly, Slither knew nothing of warfare, but he was glad to have a position of power. A wyvern of his size was not necessarily intimidating, so being in charge meant the world to him. Slither exited the small cave as the rest of the prisoners were presented before him. “Welcome wyverns. Today is the day of your potential freedom. It is actually quite simple. You can either join our forces, or, you can be sent back into prison where you will await your demise when we need to feed our troops.”
“We are not afraid of you, tiny.” This came from a slightly larger wyvern near the center of the group. Although Slither was a little frightened, he had his guards, two brutish wyverns who were quite large, black, with deep red eyes. They were not the most intelligent, but they were strong. The larger wyvern however did not seemed the slightest bit concerned with them. He moved forward slowly as he continued speaking. “What makes you think we will just bow down to you? We could easily overtake you and your guards.”
“What makes you think that you won’t?” a voice thundered from deeper down the trench. All of the wyverns froze. Suddenly, a sound like thunder came forth, almost rhythmically. It wasn’t until the shape of a wyvern passed overhead that they all realized that it was the sound of wings. The massive wyvern landed on the ridge, its head eclipsing the sun. “You will either serve, or you will meet your demise. Do not be afraid. I understand this is a tense situation and a hard decision. You have a day to decide.” With that, the wyvern departed and the prisoners were put back in their cages.
Journey: Chapter 5
Forest couldn’t hear anything, and the only thing he saw beside the light was his backpack in his grip and he wasn’t letting go of it. He tried to call out for someone but… He couldn’t, he tried his hardest but nothing came out of his mouth. He couldn’t even feel his mouth move.
Then, the light disappeared and he saw an Island and he could feel he was falling, he could see the island getting bigger and bigger and see a beach that he was going to and it all went black…
Forest woke up on a beach in the middle of the night. He was dazed and confused, he couldn’t remember what had just happened, all he remembered was getting a hole ready to put the… It was right in front of him and he screamed so loud he could be heard for a mile.
The Rune, it was with him. He remembered what had happened just before he woke up. Rust had been trying to break the rune using the terminal for the obelisk and he went through with it. It sent him in a big beam of light and he ended up here. He felt lightheaded, his eyes began to blur before everything went black.
He woke up a few minutes later and he hoped what happened was a dream, but the rune was still there. He wondered how it survived hitting the terminal. He also saw his backpack in his talons, he quickly got the rune stuffed into his backpack, and headed off into the jungle.
If he saw Rust, he was going to throw him to some leeches and then throw him in the ocean. And hope he would get bit up by piranhas.
He couldn’t believe that he was going to such a low to think like Crimson would. But he thought the rest would also if it happened to them, if not stoop even lower for what Rust just did. Doing it in fun or not, he could’ve killed anyone of them even after hearing Nyx tell him not to do it. And she and her tribe had the most knowledge about the runes, if she said it was dangerous, It Was DANGEROUS!
All he hoped for now though was that he wasn’t thrown too far away from the Green Obelisk. He didn’t want to miss the celebration.

Chapter three
-SunnyFox57
Talia awoke the next morning, the sun cast its bright orange light through the cave she lived in. Talia yawned and flexed her large scaly wings. “Another day of pure pleasure.” Talia whispered to herself. Though she was all alone in the forest she never felt lonely. No restrictions and no laws, she was a free wyvern not bound to anyone or anything. Talia’s stomach growled loudly. “I’m starving.” Talia said to herself. She leapt from the cave opening and soared high above the trees, peering down at the ground below. Then she spotted it. A phiomia waddling around. Talia ran her tongue over her fangs. “Looks good to me.” She dived down as fast as fast can be and closed her talons over the young creature’s body. A loud piglike squeal ran through the air. And then stopped. Talia licked the fresh blood from her mouth and sighed. “Ahh…perfect.” She whispered to herself. Then Talia took flight again, weaving back and forth between the trees. Suddenly something hit her out of thin air. Whatever it was slammed her against a rock, gripping her with her claws to keep her there. When Talia looked at them to see what they were she was shocked. A enormous wyvern with shining black scales and cold red eyes. “You’re a-a wyvern!” Talia exclaimed. She thought she was the only one! Her attacker cocked his head and faced her with his dark eyes. “Yes and I have come with orders from KING Draco to bring you and every stray wyvern to his castle.” He said. “King?” Talia asked. The mysterious wyvern lifted his head and flexed his wings proudly. “Yes. I work for the great King Draco himself and have come to bring you in. ” He said haughtily. Talia scowled. “I don’t know who this “Draco” is but I am not coming with you!” Talia growled. The wyvern’s snout twitched with amusement and anger. “Wrong choice.”
Immediately two more wyverns swooped down to join them. “Come. We will take her to KING Draco along with the other prisoners so that he can….sort a few things out.” The leader wyvern instructed. They advanced on Talia. She bared her teeth and snarled at them but they quickly apprehended her. “Where are you taking me?!?!” Talia snarled as they dragged her away. “To King Draco’s palace of course where you will choose your fate.” The lead wyvern said, sneering. Talia didn’t know who King Draco was but she didn’t think she would like him. She didn’t know how right she was.

Chapter five
-SunnyFox57
“You will either serve or meet your demise.” Draco’s words echoed through Talia’s memory. Talia lay, curled up in a cage hanging over a room filled with Draco’s guards. The room was lit by torches. All around her, other wyverns hung in their cages. Nearby her was the large wyvern who had spoken up against Slither, the tiny lizard like wyvern. Talia paced back and forth in the cage, biting her lip worriedly. She had to do something! She didn’t want to be stuck following some dragon for the rest of her life.
“Would you mind quieting down?” The wyvern nearby asked, not unkindly more like impatiently. Talia paused her pacing and stared at him. “Sorry.” She said. The wyvern sighed. “It’s okay.” He said, while attempting to pick the lock of his cage with the tip of his tail. “I’m Talia. What’s your name?” Talia asked him. The wyvern glanced at her. He had bronze colored scales and dark, soft, brown eyes. “I’m Blaze.” He said softly.
“Ok.” Talia said, curling back up, her tail wrapped around her protectively. Blaze paused his “lock picking”. “Where are you from kid?” He asked, although he was about the same age as her. “I made my home in the redwoods forest. i didn’t know there were other wyverns besides myself. I didn’t want to come here and serve anyone. I want to live freely.” Talia said quietly. Blaze chuckled.
“Don’t we all?” He asked. Talia sighed and then sat up suddenly, a idea popping into her head. “What if we ALL try to escape?” She asked in a loud whisper. Several wyverns in cages nearby turned their heads to look at her. “Shh!” Blaze snarled. He paused for a second until all the other wyverns looked away and turned back to Talia. “I’m listening.” Blaze said. Talia flicked her tail excitedly. “I have a idea. Draco and his guards don’t expect us to work together. They think that we are all loners and won’t stick together. We might all be able to escape if we band together!” Talia whispered. Blaze cocked his head at her and grinned sideways. “I like the way you think kid. What do you have in mind?”
Dark Dragons: Season Two, Chapter One: The Queen
The beast that ravaged the isles with its scorching flames and scalding spray and wore the skull of a Wyvern as a helmet was finally complete with its mission. "Your majesty," a wyvern said to it. "Some of the wyverns escaped." "Thank you for letting me know.", it hissed. It started up at the sky, knowing it was the Queen of this flooded and charred earth.
"Are you sure we should be flying into the giant glowing orb?", Bloodstaine asked. "Don't worry, Bloodstaine, we might have a decent time inside this giant orb. Who knows, there might be fresh raptor!", Amber said. He vomited again. In front of them, Astatine gagged. "Your the one who vomits to kill things; I hardly think that you gagging is necessary.", Bloodstaine said. "Yeah!", Amber said. They flew in without another word, and then, the were in a jungle they had never seen before, and more water than they knew existed. It was cold. Very cold. They were near a blue obelisk in the sky, like the one that they knew. The obelisk towered over an island shaped like a horseshoe, with jumgle pillars off in the distance, and a floating island in the center of it all.

Chapter seven
- SunnyFox57
“I can’t believe that worked!” Blaze exclaimed, as he and Talia stood back to back, fighting the incoming enemy wyverns. They had unlocked all the wyverns that had agreed to wanting to escape. The rest they had left. The Captain guard leaving had only helped their cause. Talia nodded and leapt at a smaller guard wyvern and landed on top of him, knocking the air out of his lungs.
“We should probably get out of here!” Another escaping wyvern squeaked. Talia and Blaze nodded and they all began to take flight, leaving the injured guards behind them.
Talia rose up in the air, feeling the air rush against her wings. She lifted her snout and grinned, as the guards yelled below. They flew past the empty cages and the not empty cages.
There was a large hole in the middle of the ceiling, big enough for the wyverns in this place to fly in and out, the escaping wyverns flew toward it. One by one they each slipped out into the open air.
Talia was about to go through the hole when—
“Wait!! Please someone help me! I want to come to, please!” A wyvern in a cage called. It was a small thing with silver colored scales and large orange eyes.
“Please! Help me!” She screamed. “Come on kid, we don’t have time. Leave her!” Blaze cried. Talia spun to look at him. “I have to help! No one deserves this fate!” She said.
Blaze scowled at her and then Talia ducked and flew down toward the imprisoned wyvern. She flew alongside the cage. “Okay. Hold on. I’ll help.” Talia said.
The small wyvern clutched the bars with her talons and stuck her snout between the bars, looking nervous. “Here’s what I need you to do. Aim your fire at the lock of your cage. Okay?” They wyvern nodded and let out a small hissing, fire warning sound. Talia did the same and at the same time they both blew fire at the lock. It melted slightly but not enough. “We need more fire!” Talia cried.
The guards were closing in, flying up toward them, although slow because they were injured. Just then Blaze flew down beside them, and nodded at Talia, though his eyes were glinting with annoyance.
Together all three of them aimed their fire at the lock. “Yes!” Talia exclaimed. The wyvern pushed the door off and together the three flew out the hole, the guards close behind them.
Here we begin,
I was SO exited, on Valgureo (ps4) I finally found the ice and fire wyvern dens! I grabbed an ice wyvern egg excitedly and flew back to my base in the White Cliffs on my argie, Toriel Jr (#prayfortoriel) so I gpt there and started hatching my ice wyvern egg with level 79 parents. The egg hatched, and a beautiful white male came out. I new what to name him; Whiteout. I grew him happily and we were so close. I took him everywhere. I thought I should give Whiteout a fire wyvern friend, so me and him set off towards the fire wyvern den in the ice wyvern den ( the ice wyvern den is in the cold and snowy place and you just follow the lava flow towards it) so I landed him and put him on attack target, so I grabbed the egg and a fire wyvern came and battled with Whiteout. Whiteout was strong, but not strong enough. He died, and I had my argie following us and land on a rock befre we went in the wyvern den. i flew back to base and when I got there it was already night. A beautiful glow rang up in the noght sky qhrn I got to base, it had all sorts of different bright colors. The aroura. I thought that was Whiteout passing safely. I made a gravestone and mourned him.
#RIP Whiteout, pass safely
Thank you so much for reading this, I hope my story teaches you not to bring your favorite dinos to the wyvern den.
Till next time.
Tales of Pandora,
Origins of Salizar: Chapter 4 ~Knowledge is power~
Salizar grabbed a pouch off of one of the soldiers and covered his scar with the half skull, then he ran until he was sure he couldn’t be followed, then he rested. He was finally free, he hadn’t been outside since he was a baby. “It’s wonderful.” He said. “It is.” A voice said. “Who’s there?!” Salizar said pulling out his knives. “No need to be alarmed.” The voice said, with a slight Russian accent. “Who are you.?” Salizar asked still on guard. “My name is Ryker. I saw what you did back there. You and I are the same, we were both experimented on as children, we both posses, certain intellect. On my home ARK they perfected the serum, it could work on even a Yutyrannus such as myself.” Ryker said. “What is an ARK?! And what do you want with me!?” Salizar asked. “There is much I could teach you. Come with me, my group could use someone like you.” Ryker said starting to walk away. They walked through the forest, Salizar asked questions but Ryker refused to answer them. Eventually they reached a cave, “after you.” Ryker said. Salizar walked ahead of him, he wasn’t one to fear but Ryker, he feared Ryker. “Meet the gang, this is Ras, Wretch, Killion, and Asher. Everyone, meet…” Ryker turned to Salizar, he hadn’t heard his name, “Salizar.” He said. “That’s a sick name.” A one armed Deinonychus said, “and you are?” Salizar asked. “it’s Ras, short for Razor!” Ras said insanely. “And your Asher I presume?” Salizar said speaking to a pyromane. “Nah, I’m Killion. And I’ll tear your face of if you come any closer noobie.” Killion said growling. “Don’t mind him, he’s got trust issues, welcome! Names Wretch.” An oraneo said. “So that makes Asher..” Salizar said turning to a Carcharodontosaurus. Asher glanced at him menacingly and then turned away. “Yup that’s Asher, she doesn’t talk much..” Ras said. “Now that your all acquainted, let’s get down to business. This ark has three guardians, if we wish to ascend and plant the seed then we must defeat them all, but our numbers are low after the.. indecent on Hades.” Killion looked down sadly. “What if we used the humans?” Salizar suggested. “Work with humans! Are you mad!?” Wretch shouted. “Of course not, we lead them to this, guardian, and then they do the dirty work for us, and the more die the better.” Salizar said. “Chump’s got a point, these humans know nothin of the ARKs, if we show em an artifact their human curiosity will kick in.” Killion said. “Yes… Salizar, you will make a fine addition to the team, but first I must teach you of this place, what’s really going on.” Ryker said. “I’d like nothing more.” Salizar said.
“Remember, the mesopithicus is armed and dangerous.” Primalis said. The soldiers in the briefing room chuckled. “This is nothing to chuckle about!” Primalis shouted angrily, “this mesopithicus was injected with an intelligence serum, he is smarter than all of you combined, and he killed an entire battalion single handedly!” Primalis said, he pressed a button on his clicker and the projector showed slides and slides of the carnage Salizar committed. The soldiers stopped laughing. “Now, let’s hunt this abomination down. And end it.” Primalis said.
The next few months Primalis’s task force searched for Salizar, but Ryker knew how to hide, and being a horrifying yutyrannus that can spook just about any tame didn’t hurt. Meanwhile, Ryker taught Salizar of the ARKs, Salizar was intrigued, but he didn’t like Ryker’s plan, why would they go back to the humans dead world when these wondrous ARKs were theirs for the taking. When he voiced this opinion Ryker replied, “Remember Salizar, Knowledge in power. And I am most powerful, never forget your place…” Salizar knew he would have to eventually betray his mentor, but how. “You know, when We met Killion, he was a prince, Asher? Enraged tame who killed her entire tribe, Wretch? He’s a mechanical genius! And he doesn’t even have any of that crazy serum.” Ras said. “And you?” Salizar asked. Ras gave Salizar a look that said, ‘not another word’ Salizar changed the subject, “why is Ryker so obsessed with getting to earth?” Salizar asked. “We aren’t entirely sure, one time he said earth was calling him, but we don’t ask him about it much, he’s the boss. That’s all we need to know. Hey? Want to go kill some pedestrians?” Ras asked, instantly not serious anymore. “I ought not Razor, being wanted and all.” Salizar said. Ras looked disappointed. “Alright, your loss..” He ran out of the cave. “So, Killion, what exactly was the incident on Hades?” Salizar asked. “You know? You ask a lot of questions. I don’t like questions, neither does Ryker. So why don’t you do your job and keep your nose out of others business Hm?” Killion said. Salizar glared and walked off, Killion glared at him, he thought the meso was suspicious. “Ryker, when are we going to enact the plan? It’s been months.” Salizar said. Ryker sighed and said, “You are stepping over the line. Don’t forget who is in charge here… we’ll enact the plan WHEN I SAY SO.” Ryker shouted. The others looked at the two, waiting to see if Ryker would eat the mesopithicus then and there. He didn’t, he saw a lot of himself in Salizar. “Sorry sir.” Salizar said, he turned away and sat on a log by himself, ‘they don’t trust me, how can I earn their trust..’ Salizar thought. Then he had an idea, a sick, and twisted idea.

Talia was a wyvern. An ordinary wyvern. Nothing special in her opinion. She had lived alone her entire life, always on the run from hunters or scientists. She had never known her parents or her family so she didn’t miss them much. She thought she was nothing special. How wrong she was…
Talia flew through the redwoods forest, dodging large trees and flying creatures. The wind blew strongly because there was a lot of trees. But Talia was not cold, her scales protected her from the coldest winds. She weaved back and forth like a dragonfly, dodging trees what got in her path. Sure, it would be easier to just burn the trees down or knock them down but Talia preferred it this way. Ever since she was a young wyvern she had dreamed of being a hero. She’d heard stories from traveling archaeopteryx bards about the old days before the island called Ragnorak was where it was now. They said there was wyvern tribes and that they ruled Ragnorak and brought peace to it. No hunters. No scientists. Just wyverns, bringing peace to the island and all that lived on it. Of course that couldn’t be true. The island of Ragnorak couldn’t have been ruled by wyverns. It wasn’t possible. Was it? Talia finally came to her tree house. Made from a giant redwoods tree that she had bent the top branches to make a small cave at the top, it was Talia’s home if she could call it that. She entered the cave and folded her wings by her sides. She sighed. “Home sweet home.” Talia whispered. It was humble and lowly but it would do. Then she curled up in a ball with her wings around her and fell asleep to a land she wished she could be in.

Chapter 6
- HGA ttg The Nazgûl
Scowl was not the brightest wyvern, but what he lacked in brain power, he made up for in strength. It was this strength that made him captain of the guard. However, it was not a very fitting position. He was more of a ‘receive orders and then destroy some stuff’ kind of wyvern. It was this lack of strategic planning that often got him into trouble, as he would regularly go to Slither in order to find out what he should do about even the smallest issue.
It is with this lack of thinking that led him to leave the cave without telling his other guards. He approached Slither’s quarters. When he arrived, he announced, “Slither, some of the wyverns would like to join us.” Slither did not come out, but he did answer.
“Then bring them here at once! We will move them in with the rest of our troops.”
“There was another thing that they mentioned.” Scowl said.
“Which was?!” Slither replied sharply, clearly beginning to be irritated with Scowl’s sluggish way of getting around to things.
“They mentioned that some of the other wyverns were planning a…a…a…”
“Spit it out you big lazy carcass!”
“An escape!” Scowl finally said, almost triumphantly as he finally recalled what the wyverns had mentioned.
At this, there was suddenly lots of noise coming from the prison area. “You fool!” Slither said as he flew off to the cave. Scowl followed, unsure of why, in what seemed to him a moment of glory, Slither would call him a fool.
