Stories Tips

What are some stories about the wyvern? Memorable wyvern stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
Beware the darkness of Wyverns,
Beware the stalker of dreams,
Beware the talons of blood and fire,
Beware one who is not what she seems.
Something is coming to shake the earth,
Something is coming to scorch the ground,
Apotheosis will fall beneath ice and lightning,
Unless the lost kingdom of blood can be found.
Dark Dragons: Season Two, Chapter Five: Punishment
As Guts was eating, the Queen burst into the cafeteria sector of the hive. “WHO STOLE MY FOOD?” she screeched. No one answered. “Ahem. Fine. If you do not admit to taking a bite of MY FEAST, then you will be executed once we find you. And we will find you!” she said, narrowing her yellow eyes. Guts stood up. “It… it was me, your highness. I’m sorry.” “I accept your apology, Guts, but only because of how well you serve me. You will be put into solitary imprisonment for five days,” she said. “What?! You said you accept my apology! How dare–” “He was cut off by the Queen. “I suggest you shut your snout, lest you become ripe for an execution. I would hate to see your head roll onto the floor,” she said, looking smug. “Yes, your Majesty. It will not happen again,” “I trust you. I need you and the rest of the Blood-born Brigade to open the rift. You must find those little grimy rascals.” “It will be done, my Queen,” said Guts.
Once the others woke up, Amber told them what happened. “And then I melted his armor. I feel so bad,” he said. Astatine was sitting in the corner in silence. “You okay over there?” Bloodstaine asked. Astatine was sitting in the corner in silence. “You okay over there?” Bloodstaine asked. Astatine turned his head and pointed with his claw at the hole in his jaw. “Oh yeah. Can’t really talk right now,” Bloodstaine said. “Sunami? You’ve been living out here for a while. Do you have any medical knowledge?” Amber asked. “I mean, not for his species. For Crystal Wyverns, sure, but other wyverns, nope,” he said back. Astatine rolled his eyes at Sunami. “At this point, I’ll still try,” Sunami said. Using his tail to apply bandages, he wrapped them around Astatine’s mouth. “Thith is painful. I hate thith,” Astatine said. Bloodstaine laughed at him. “What? What’th tho funny?” “The gauze and bandages are making your voice sound stupid,” Bloodstaine said. “Okay, well, can we f*cking leave now? I’m tired of being in thith ugly cave,” Astatine said. “Yeah, yeah. Let’s go,” Sunami said, also ready to go. And then they saw the red, white, and black glow of the Queen’s Blood-born Brigade in the sky.

Dark Dragons: Season Two, Chapter Six: Blood-Born Brigade
As the Brigade dove down towards them, their eyes widened. "Damn it. They found us!" Bloodstaine said. Two of them dove at Sunami and Astatine, knocking them down. As they scuffled on the ground, they saw Guts divebomb towards them. Amber dove out of the way, but Bloodstaine got hit by his giant body when she couldn't react fast enough. "Why can't I catch a break?!" Amber said. He dove at Guts, knocking him off of Bloodstaine during the fall. As Guts fell, he caught himself and blasted a gust of wind at Amber before barrel rolling out of the way of Amber's nosedive. On the ground, while Amber and Guts were slashing at each other and tussling, Astatine was holding one of the Brigade soldiers with his talons and blasting poison into his face. Sunami was scorching the other one with his boiling water. Bloodstaine was almost unconscious on the ground, her vision fading between blurry and slightly less blurry. Above. she saw Amber performing a horrendously prepared act: cloaking himself in flames. Up above, while Amber was making a shroud of fire, Guts was almost horrified at the recklessness of the stunt. Amber dove in to strike, striking Guts while he was frozen in shock. As Guts caught fire, Amber grabbed his legs with talons to stop his fall. "Get the hell off me!" Guts yelled. "No! I saved you! Now shut up, and stop making me want to drop you." Amber said. "This is really f*cking embarrassing." Guts whispered to himself. He decided he had had enough of this and struggled out of Amber's talons. "Sh*t! You moron! I saved you!" Amber yelled. He watched as Guts flew off, glaring back from time to time. Amber flew down to check on everyone else. Everyone was alive, but pretty bruised. "I don't thuppothe thith blue idiot over here can ficth a broken wing, now can he?" Astatine said, still with a lisp. Sunami chuckled a bit, but winced in pain. "Can we please rest for a bit? The only one of us in shape for flying is Amber, and even that's a stretch." Bloodstaine asked, flinching in pain after almost every syllable. "Yeah. Let's do that." Amber said, looking up at the moon, wistful for home.

Dark Dragons: Season Two, Chapter Three: The Lava
As Bloodstaine and the others were flying towards the volcano, she noticed a lot of water glistening in the moonlight. She thought nothing of it, but saw that it… wasn’t in the ocean. That was a bit confusing, but she pushed on through the air. As they neared the lava island, they heard a boom.
“Sh*t. That can’t be good.” Astatine said as he saw smoke rising from the volcano.
“What? What is that? Is that the volcano?” Amber asked. “Oh, crap, I forgot that I’m squeamish around lava.”
"Amber, you’re squeamish around EVERYTHING. This isn’t new. Plus, you live near a volcano. How can you be so scared?” said Bloodstaine. “I’M SCARED OF EVERYTHING, OKAY?!” Amber shouted.“ Jeez, okay, well, let’s just focus on getting there. We need to move faster if we wanna get to the obelisk.” Bloodstaine said. “Fine, but I’m not happy about this…” Amber said. “No one cares, you idiot.” Astatine said tiredly. “If you wanna die, go ahead. Be my guest.” Amber muttered a curse under his breath, but kept on flying. As they dove towards the ground to land, a blue streak swooped below them and snatched up a Raptor. “What the hell? What was that?” Bloodstaine exclaimed. “Good question, for a different time. We don’t need to worry about that right now.” Astatine said, annoyed. “I agree with Astatine here…”
“Not you! I thought you were with me!” exclaimed Bloodstaine. “Hate to admit it, but I just wanna be warm.” Amber said. They kept flying, lower now, and they reached the Obelisk. “I don’t know if we should settle here anymore. The volcano’s erupting.” Amber said. All of a sudden, they saw a blue Wyvern fly overhead. Then, the Wyvern dove down and they saw it was Sunami. “W-what? Sunami? B-but you died!” Bloodstaine said, stunned. "Did I? I don’t feel dead, but we might be if we stay here much longer.” joked Sunami. “Alright, comedian. How about you show us the way out of here?” said Astatine. “Alright, alright. I’ll do it. Follow me!” As Sunami led them out of the island, Bloodstaine thought to herself "Wait, why are we trusting him? We knew him for less than a day before he was ‘killed’. What if he’s trying to kill us?" She was very concerned, but didn’t speak up because she knew the others wouldn’t listen. “Welcome to my humble abode. It isn’t much, but it’s something. I have to keep watch for the soldiers every day.” “What soldiers? Did they follow us somehow?” Astatine said, angry. “No. They followed me, but I lost them.” said Sunami. “And how did you lose them?” Astatine asked. “Some guy with Tek came along and fought them.” Sunami replied. Astatine gasped. “Tek?! That… that was Bob.”

Chapter three
Caved in
The group went on their daily flight traveling to at least find a permanent home or this place for all that Elm ‘Claimed’ was real. The was silently no birds no nothing….Weird but that also meant no disturbances too. The group didn’t talk much and went on what they usually did until it got cloudy and dark and then that’s when thunder roared and it echoed in the trios ears, “Thunderstorm! We need to find shelter!” Yelled elm panicked. “Don’t panic Elm it’ll only make it worse!” puffin shouted. “Follow me!” Jasper said as the other two managed to follow him into a cave. They waited out the storm for hours on end and the thunder storm turned into a tornado which Elm spotted easily by a tree blocking the path. “A tree is blocking the way out” elm said, “Well then burn it” snapped puffin. “It might be a tornado it’s best to go further in” Elm responded, “Elms right it might be a tornado” Jasper said. And then the trio went on with there exploration in the cave which was oddly filled with glowing plants and plants that glowed when stepped on, and then rustling was heard which startled to group and a creature came out it wasn’t a megalosaurus it was a barynox that was glowing for some reason and it seemed to have an odd power from it, and that’s when it started attack the group, the barynox had the upper hand cause it was small enough to maneuver around in the cave cause it was small than the two and what about Elm? Elm had a less harder time than the two but didn’t want to breathe fire in fear she’ll hurt Puffin and Jasper and puffin was trying to freeze it in place or trying to slow it down and meanwhile Jasper was just dodging now Jasper wanted to fight back but everytime he tired he couldn’t fight back like the other two until he heard something that seemed to telepathically communicate with him.
“Wake up”
“Jasper remeber who you are”
“Who are you?” Jasper whispered looking at the glowing barynox

Chapter four
Jasper……?
It was such a long fight and guess what? All three of them got separated and so did jasper and jasper woke up from what seemed to be a library for humans? With magical ruins on them from what jasper could tell, jasper from what he could remember from history that humans used to use magic but it died out a long time ago from an unknown cause and reason, which sparked theories on why. Anyways jasper continued to walk around and started calling for the others “Elm! Puffin! Where are you!” He shouted but to no use no one responded, weird jasper also felt icky and cold or it could be the room he was in itself, either way he doesn’t know, “What even is this place….” Jasper mumbled to himself, obviously a bit paranoid, jasper saw runes on the walls that showed creatures also used to use magic? Absurd outright nonsense no creature can use magic, not that jasper knew of anyway. Although there has been some history of creatures using magic, jasper being himself didn’t believe that and jasper made it out of the library to find more libraries and again and again, until he found a fogged room and the library entrance was gone the room was dark and foggy with the white water glowing, jasper looked down and saw someone else in his reflection, it was a dragon? Jasper sure didn’t like it, dragons where the wyvern worst enemies after all there was a war between the dragons and wyvern, with the dragons almost driving the wyvern to extinction, until the dragons suddenly disappeared, and that’s when he saw the same glowing baryonyx from before and asked “Who are you? An-and what do you want?” No response and that’s when he heard voices they were eons and puffins! Were they here? Where were they? And how does he know it’s not a trap before jasper left he looked back at the baryonyx and said “we’re gonna meet again aren’t we?” The baryonyx only nodded before, jaspers eyes shot open to puffin and elm.

Small mini chapter not related to the story or sort of related.
Jasper, was flying around in the clouds, giggling and laughing as he flew through the clouds and dived back down and landed in his cave, jasper then flew back into the skies, and repeating the process until sunset, where he met up with his family.

Dark Dragons Season 2, Chapter 4: The Tek Cave
"Bob?! That guy you had talked about, right?" Bloodstaine said. "Yeah. The one who abandoned me. That little sh*t." Astatine said, his voice dripping with disgust. "I thought I would never hear his name again. Even less speak it." Bloodstaine was incredibly confused. She thought Bob was dead. "So, he's not dead, eh?” Amber said, trying to lighten the mood. "Not helping." Sunami said through gritted teeth. "Well, we best find him and beat the ever-living hell out of him, now shouldn't we?" Bloodstaine asked, on the verge of tears of anger. "Yes, we should. You.” Sunami's head snapped up in response. "Where is he?" "Uh, yes, uh, problem. I don't know." Sunami replied nervously. “You don't know?" Astatine hissed, squinting in anger. "YOU DON'T KNOW? THEN HOW DO YOU KNOW HE EXISTS?!?!" Astatine yelled. "W-well, he might be in the hidden cave. The Tek one." Sunami stuttered. "Well, let's go then." Bloodstaine suggested. "Fine. But I'm still angry at this little b*tch." Bloodstaine was also a bit angry, but more so at Astatine for insulting the only one who could help them. She accepted that they wouldn't get along. "Well, are we going or not?" Amber asked, trying to seem tough. Bloodstaine and Sunami laughed. Even Astatine let out a chuckle at Amber's attempt to be tough. "Yes, we are." Astatine said.
The Queen was back in her hive, staring at the scorched world she has ruled over for millenia. She was eating a Thorny Dragon when one of her warriors flew in. "Your Majesty, we may have found a way to re-open the rift." the warrior said. "Good job, Guts. You have always been a great general." The Queen said, her voice dripping with glaze. She was grooming him to be the strongest general possible. "You've earned your spoils. Go feast in the hive." "Thank you, your Majesty."
As they arrived at the cave, they saw it gleaming with light. The bright blue shone out onto the grass near the green Obelisk. "Well, this is it." Sunami said. He was hopeful that he would be able to escape Astatine's terrifying glare, but he motioned for Sunami to come in. “Uh, can I stay out here? I haven't vomited in a while and I don't think you guys wanna deal with burning puke." Amber stated, hoping to stay out near the Obelisk. "No. Get in here or else I might actually kill you." Astatine said jokingly. Amber had no idea whether or not he was kidding. Once they were inside, they saw his house. The tower of Tek and Metal went up into the roof of the cave. Then, they saw him walk out, the Tek armor covering his body. As soon as they saw him, they knew it was Bob. While checking on his generators, he spotted them looming in the cave. Retracting his helmet, he started walking towards them. "Dear God. Astatine? I'm so sorry." Bob said. "I'm going to fly in and f*cking kill this moron." Astatine said. "No! Don't! ASTATINE!" Bloodstaine yelled. As he charged, Bob moved with a speed almost equal to teleportation and stabbed his Tek Claws into Astatine's jaw. Astatine let out a scream as Bloodstaine and Sunami blasted their elemental breath at him from the sides. He blasted out a shield of energy. They collapsed to the ground, leaving only Amber to fight. He started crying and charging. "I WON'T LET YOU GET AWAY WITH THIS, YOU F*CKING SON OF A B*TCH!" Amber shouted, breathing fire. Bob's armor began to melt as he charged towards Amber. He reached for a medical brew on his belt, but right as he opened the cork, Amber's tail whipped it out of his hand. It shattered on the ground, spraying it everywhere. Bob's eyes widened as he watched his only chance of survival shatter into a million pieces. Amber's illuminated face appeared above him. Amber's glowing orange eyes and his gaping maw were the last things Bob ever saw.

Dark Dragons: Season Two, Chapter Two: The Cold
"Okay, what is this place and why is it so cold?" Bloodstaine asked, not expecting an answer. "I-I know where we are. He called it 'The Center'. He had lost his mind after coming here. I could twll because I came with him from the desert." Astatine replied, shaking from the cold. "Um, guys? I'm gonna go hide in the foresr and possibly-GULP-projectile vomit everywhere." Amber interjected. "You always have to vomit. It's getting annoying." Astatine replied. "Theres a volcano over there, underneath the red obelisk. Hopefully, it'll be warmer there. Let's go."
---------------------
The Queen, looking to the sky, trying to spot how they could've escaped, saw a small blue rift close. She hissed quietly, knowing that she wouldn't be able to reopen it. "Your Majesty, is there anything I can do for you? the heir named Kratis said. "No. Not at this moment." she growled back. "There is no way for you to be of use to me. Leave." "Yes, my Queen." Kratos replied, then flew away. "Well, maybe I do have a use for you, Kratos..."

“Bawk! Bawk bawk bawk!”
Samuel was jolted awake to the feeling of something pecking away at his arm. The sun was barely rising, and he could feel sand across his back, and everything felt soft yet rough. He groggily lifted his head, and he could see an ocean with waves crashing on the beach and…
“Hold on just a moment, why am I at the beach? And what is pecking at me?” Samuel thought, a sickness crossing his stomach. He turned his head to see a strange bird staring at him curiously.
“AHHHHHHH!” Samuel let out a high-pitched shriek as he skittered away from the strange creature. His pupils began to shrink in fear, and his graduation robe started to feel itchy, his chest tensing up and his hairs raising up on end. The bird had soft, big feathers running across its body, and a large beak that could eat his fingers in one bite. Samuel couldn’t recognize the creature, but it looked harmless enough.
“Okay, okay, it seems friendly enough, but,” Samuel looked around at the palm trees and the sandy plains with horror in his eyes.
“WHERE THE HECK AM I?!”
Samuel slowly got up from the sand, brushing the sand off of his gown and taking a look at the sights around him. This definitely wasn’t Terran High, that was for sure. There were tropical bushes and palm trees scattered about the land, and he could see a large river running by the land, with large, big-eyed fish swimming by. Samuel squinted his eyes, and he could’ve sworn he saw giant turtles roaming around in the distance.
“A mythical land with weird creatures, like the bird, this has gotta be a dream,” Samuel muttered to himself. He looked at all of his body parts. He once heard that if anything in your body seemed off, you were in a dream.
“Hmm, everything looks normal,” Samuel whispered as he checked his hands, wrists, and legs. He ran his hands across his body, but didn’t feel anything out of the ordinary. And it all felt real enough.
“Definitely not a dream,” Samuel sighed, “How could this have even happened? This is something that only happens in a fantasy world, or story. That thing that happened in the sky was probably the root of all of this.”
Samuel dropped to his knees and began to sulk, groaning to himself in frustration.
“Man, I was just about to get out of high school and now this happens! Maybe I should just *give up* and save myself the trouble.”
The strange bird rustled its feathers and plopped down in the sand next to Samuel, rubbing its head against its gown with a sort of comfort in its actions. Samuel shot a glance at the bird and couldn’t help but let out a chuckle.
“Heh, you must be like a dog, huh? Y’know what, maybe you weird creatures aren’t so bad after all,” Samuel grinned, “And maybe I shouldn’t give up. There’s always a way outta any situation. Gosh, I sound like that nerd Aurora now.”
Samuel stood up from the ground, a smile plastered across his face, and his hands on his hips as if he were a superhero.
“Okay, I have no idea how to survive in this type of place, because it’s the first time I’ve been brought to a strange world in my life,” Samuel told himself, “So, perhaps we should go exploring. Maybe we can find a boat outta here.”
So with that, Samuel and his new bird friend set out down the beach, the rays of the sun casting a divine glow on the two of them. Samuel felt determined, and for some reason, he felt… fulfilled.
“I actually feel a lot better,” Samuel realized, “Like this could be the best thing that happened to me.”
Shhhh,
The bushes next to Samuel rustled, and Samuel let out a yell of surprise. The weird bird also squawked, and Samuel grabbed a nearby rock off the ground and aimed at the bush.
“Get out of there or else I’m gonna throw this thing at you!” Samuel screamed.
“Okay okay, I’m sorry for scaring you!” a voice responded. Samuel’s eyes widened. Another person was here?
A half-naked individual crawled out of the bushes, and he had nothing but his underwear on. He had a bowl cut with black hair and had glasses that were taped together. Freckles littered his face like trash would on a beach.
“Hey there,” the man awkwardly smiled, “I didn’t think there’d be another guy here. My name is Neddy.”
I remember on our private Ragnarok server, me and my sister really wanted a wyvern, but the trench seemed too dangerous, so we decided to go to the murdersnow for an ice wyvern. We searched for nests on our pteranodons, until we saw it- a beautiful blue-white egg in the distance. The nest was located on a cliff near redwoods. My sister and I quickly flew over without a second thought. She grabbed the egg while I went high up to keep watch. There wasn’t a single wyvern in sight. Odd. Not long after we decided to regain stamina on the border of the redwoods (which was extremely close to the nest), when my sister suddenly said, “I heard a roar” I replied, “what kind of roar?” Out of nowhere, freezing cold ice breath showered onto me and my pteranodon, even though my sister was the one who had the egg in her inventory. Immediately, I tried to fly away on my ptero, but the ice wyvern wasn’t so far behind. I managed to lead it to the desert before running out of stam and getting killed. Once I was in the respawn page, I looked at my sister’s screen to see where she was and if it was okay. She was already halfway home. We finally had a wyvern egg!

Prince jaspers made a place to stay for the night a small unoccupied cave in the redwood a little ways east from the trench he came from but far enough to there was no danger…Or no wyvern that was, the air smelt fresh unlike the burning smelt of charcoal, ash, and burnt stuff back at home. As prince jaspers slowly closed his eyes something was watching him so he stayed awake and blasted whoever was in front of him. “In moons name was that for! And who taught you how to fight!” A voice called out from the dark. A voice called out from their scent it was a wyvern but what type of wyvern all he known was that there was poison, lighting, and fire, and a fire wyvern was who he was. “Whose there” he snarled. “My name is Elm and you?” The voice said. “I’m Prince jasper but call me jasper” He responded. “Jasper that’s a nice name” Elm said, walking into the same cave he was as elm blasted a small campfire in the cave. “You realize this is my cave right? But don’t worry I’ll let you stay I have to leave tomorrow anyway” elm said. “Why are you glowing” Jasper bluntly said. “I got a mutation or a trait it’s rare in forest wyverns” Elm responded. “Random question but can I come with you?” Jasper asked. “Sure why not? I’d like to have a travel Buddy” Elm responded as jasper fell asleep. “Looks like he’s already asleep guess I’ll go to sleep too.” Elm spoke to herself, falling sleep.

Chapter 1
The new animal…
The day was almost over and Timp was leaning on his house waiting for the arrival of Tori, his sister. His other sister, Trina was out killing a bunch o Dodo’s.
“Where’s that dad gum woman?” Timp said squinting as if that would make him find her.
About 30 minutes later he went inside for it was getting night.
Timp was beginning to worry.
“Seriously where is she?!” He said to himself in a yell whisper. (You know like not too loud but not too quiet but also kinda quiet and somehow if people are with them they can’t hear them?)
He grabbed his shot gun and a torch and went outside.
“YYYYEEEEEEEEEE HHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!”
Came the excited cry of his sister Tori.
Timp’s eyes almost burst out of his head.
“Tori!!!!!! That’s a WYVERN!!!!!!!!!!!”
Tori was on the back of a huge Wyvern with one hand in the air and the other on the reins. (Is that what you would call it?)
“Correction, it’s a CRYSTAL WYVERN!!!!!!” She exclaimed as she dove and finally landed safely back on the ground.
Timp, gave a sigh of relief and lowered his gun.
TO BE CONTINUED…
