I am gonna be taming one today, i'll share my tatics.

I'll be using a thyla pumped into HP(21k-ish), 600% damage, and about 1.5k stam, with 75% imprint, ( i play ascended with mods and imprint bonus stats at 10X, take this in consideration, also, Series S) , but a weaker thyla can also do this i think.

Now the plan, go to the scar, jump into a wall climb , then pounce to a nest with a desired egg, then, jump and start climbing , then run or fight back ( stronger/weaker thyla).

Thats the plan, now the wyvern milk is another history, but anyway, i use wyvern milk maker MOD.

Set player damage to 20, that should one shot knockout a wyvern, it is cheaty but ark cheats too, they reset torpor when you die and make they wyvern attack only you instead of creatures around you.

If Ur on single player mobile turn Ur difficulty down then yoink an egg the use that wyvern to get a higher lvl egg

Quick question, so I play on mobile and have tamed four different fliers, pts, argys, griffins and rhynios, Pts and argys for sure listen to all my commands and so do griffins. Rhynios don’t they don’t listen to attack target or follow even if you try to mess with the settings. Does this happen with wyverns?

While raising a wyvern DO NOT JUST GIVE IT MILK UNLESS IT WANTS TO IMPRINT

When you give it milk for imprinting it also fills it's food, but if it's food is getting really low and it isn't asking for milk, then give it one bottle so it doesn't die

First get a griffin then find an egg but before that, make sure you have a lot of fire ready then while the eggs incubate a no kill a bunch of wyvern’s to get wyvern milk. It is the only thing they eat. When growing up. Also, if your plan on Ragnarok, there should be an artefact near make sure to get that one before you get the egg.

If your looking at spawn locations for the wyvern on maps, they won't pop up but if you go to choose dino go to f and look for fire wyvern then select it then you can see where they spawn because lightning, fire, and poison wyverns spawn at the same area (based on what I've seen).

If u can use a crystal wyvern to steal eggs they are much faster than normal wyverns, just an FYI each wyvern milk will last a baby about 3.33 hours.

If you have a pteranodon that has good Stam fly through small trees that are clustered together like palm trees on a beach and try to get the wyverns caught on them also fly around rocks but it’s not he best way. Ragnarok highlands trench is really good because at the beach is lots of small palm trees clustered together and big rock villages to fly around.

I feel like they should make a Chinese version of these, either as an event one, a boss, or just existing.

I tamed four of these the best way at least 4 me is get a rock drake Because they are much faster than a wyvern and go to a wyvern cave and find a egg if you find a egg glide to and jump off of the rock drake and grab the egg the wyvern will probably try to kill you but the rock drake is soooooo fast you can easily get uh way get back at base get a lot of touches and put the egg in it and watch it

So I have raised over 50 Wyverns and what I learned can help you. I play on rangnerok primitive plus so this probably will help. When getting a egg try to get a high level such as a 110 and above. This way it has much better stats from a lower level and won’t need milk constantly. Your going to want either a pt or a griffin with at least 1000 stamina. This way you have enough to go in the scar, grab the egg, and get out. Once you have a Wyvern egg it is time to hatch it. For this it is best to use stone fire places. 5-8 should do the trick. Once you have enough fire places you want to place them in a U shape. This way the egg will get enough heat to start incubating. Once the timer is done you will have a nice beautiful Wyvern! But the hard part is still coming. Once it is hatched you want to focus on the food for the next days to come. Now here is the hard part. It is now time to get the milk. You should have a trap set up so all you do is lead it in and knock it out!

Grab a Auto/Heavy turret and put 500 advanced rifle bullets (note you need vertical cable, electric box, and generator for it to work near it.) Then grab an egg and lead the following wyverns to the turret and they’ll die or get distracted, if they don’t die just keep flying

1# get milk by killing/get milk by knocking out

2# get a egg from the wyvern den

3# use a heater to heat the egg so it hatches/use camp fire to heat up the egg so it hatches

Wyverns can't damage stone so build a place to trap yourself in with the egg until it loses its agro
