keep in mind YOUR tamed wyverns can do damage to anything, your tribes dinos, you, and your shoulder pets, even in pve i recommend not using its LT (on xbox to do its fire/lighting etc attack) ability near anything

Honestly not hard, just get a throwaway flyer with decent Stam and lure out the good level ones, then grab the egg and run.

Getting court by a lightning wyvern why’ll steeling an is pretty much death dont focus just on getting away try and avoid the lightning breath as it shreds your health and will knock you out

When encountering a wyvern cave they will attack on sight. The best way to steel their eggs is probably with a flying dinosaur with good speed and stamina. You fly through looking for eggs and make sure they dont see you when you get one. You will get into a little bit of fights with them but not many depending on what Wyvern. I have tested with wyverns and yutys and this is what I discovered,

The first two roars inflict uneasy and the uneasy or frightened meter goes up but you can still control your wyvern. After three fear roars in a row your wyvern's uneasy meter becomes too much and it gets scared and flyes for the hills, but if you let the meter go down enough three roars not in a row shouldn't be a problem. If u hatched a egg or going to hatch one you can use snow owl or deadon to heal when it's starving so you don't need milk. If it asks for milk for imprinting use a cryo pod on it and release it you have a chance for it to ask for something else. Can use 10 to 16 torches to hatch depending where you are.

No, their eggs are NOT super easy to steal so don't get one early game BUT they're not really endgame, more mid-to-end-game.

Wyverns are NOT immune to yutys roars, despite how many people think this. I know for a fact if a level ten yuty roars at my level 350 poison Wyvern she will spend the next twenty seconds flat out sprinting away. Maybe it's different for fire Wyverns and lightning wyverns but I haven't tested it. Just wanted to warm people who thought they could lure a yuty into a trap with a wyvern like me... It's not gonna happen.

This may have been an incredibly dumb decision, but I used a griffin to steal the egg on ragnarok, when a griffin dives is way faster then a wyvern so it was super easy to outrun them. Now I just gotta figure how to hatch the dang thing

Grab a Auto/Heavy turret and put 500 advanced rifle bullets (note you need vertical cable, electric box, and generator for it to work near it.) Then grab an egg and lead the following wyverns to the turret and they’ll die or get distracted, if they don’t die just keep flying

1# get milk by killing/get milk by knocking out

2# get a egg from the wyvern den

3# use a heater to heat the egg so it hatches/use camp fire to heat up the egg so it hatches

Tame about 8-10 low level pteranodons to bring with you and when you grab the egg whistle aggressive so they distract the wyverns while you safely fly away leaving the others to die

For babies, wait for food value 400-500,then give milk. Repeat 2 or 3 times this step. Then again wait same food value but give 2 milk. Repeat rhis. In all this time, babies wait outside of cyro. You don't need to collect milk for every hour. It is waste of time.

Have nice friend and a good pteradon pick him up and let him shoot it to knock it out while you are driving.

These can get charcoal by using their wing flap move on the black charcoal trees.

If getting chased run into a brontosaurus and don’t look back they are selfish so would rather eat the bronto than catch up to you to get the egg back also they despair of are out of the trench and out of view.

To get milk use a mantis with clubs the leaping attack will down any level instantly

How to steal wyvern eggs with a Shadowmane!

1. Tame a high level SM, make sure it has at-least 10k health- depending on your difficulty. ( mine has around 22k health and max difficulty was no issue. )

2. Locate the nest and sneak in while cloaked, count the number of wyverns and try to find where all the eggs are. Note using any item while riding will uncloak the SM!

3. Take out the lone Wyverns with the dash ability, then, if you can, attempt to kill the rest. If your nest has it, hide in the water to regain health if you are getting swarmed. Your SM will get a boost and you can take down Wyverns with the dash ability from under the water.

4. If you plan on not attacking, locate a high level egg while cloaked and steal it, then use the long jump and get out as fast as you can.

5. You have a Wyvern!

Get high lvl argy ideally take over 135 then pump about 2 k stam 8k health and the rest in melee dmg if u can’t do it grab an ice wyvern and steal an egg

Argys with 10k health + 1K% dmg & 2k stamina will most of time no diff a wyvern trench.

Tame 2 145-150 Argys mate them until you have these stats and just take an extra argy with you to help fight and you will clean up the trench so you can loot the eggs without being chased or 1 shot.

( watch out for the poison wyvern they will kill you while on tame, and lighting at 145+ can do a lot of dmg so make sure you avoid that beam)

I recommend watching videos on how to aerial fight but I just spin counter to the dragon since it will make it use the bite instead of beam and I can usually hit 1-2 times before we spin again.
