Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a tusoteuthis? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a tusoteuthis.
You wanna tame a tanky dino because it does lots of damage an dont get garbbed or else your dead
I saw this for the first time when I was riding on my ichthy. It was level 300. So I thought I should tame it but I changed my mind because it needs so much black pearls and black pearls are so rare. But now I want it and I can’t find it.
Want to tame one of these as practically your first tame? It's pretty simple.
1. Go to Rag and get black pearls off the coast
2. Go to gen 2
3. Do any easy race mission such as Slide and Glide or Circuit chase and then buy a cryopod from HL-NA
3. Tame a medium level turtle and cryo it
4. Go into the underwater ocean and find a Tuso
5. Throw out the turtle and get on it far away from the tuso but close enough to aggro it onto you
6. Give the squid the turtle and feed him the pearls. Repeat if need be
Side note: This method is extremely easy but much easier if it's on a 3x taming event as most squids up to Level 140 will be tamed in 50 black pearls, Meaning you only need to tame 1 turtle
Taming with a turtle is such an unnecessary hassle. Just use a passive Spino with good health, a good saddle, and if possible, some movement speed. 1. It’s faster and more manoeuvrable than a turtle. 2. If u die while feeding the Tuso pearls, the spino won’t get killed it’ll just float straight to the top when the squid detaches.
If an alpha tuso hits your heavies... say goodbye
One good tame to use for feeding a tuso is a dunkleo, as they reduce damage by 80% and more with a saddle and have pumped health so they should be able to tank their grabe no problem.
If by any reason you end up in the middle of the ocean and you look down to see a large shadow coming up just kill yourself.
Just used a shadowmane on gen2 Nd it deals with the tuso pretty well, very well actually. I'm honestly using the shadowmanes from now on for the tuso to grab Nd bonus is you can be outside of the trap whilst doing it
I was playing on mobile once and saw one for the first time, (i have the GC so I had infinite stats and could spawn Pearls) But it said 'does not want to be tamed right now' why does it do ths?
I revive deep seas creatures in shallow water so they don’t move. SQUIDS STILL MOVE IN SHALLOW WATER. Remember this so you don’t waste your amber like me.
Since the Gen 2 update it is now possible to pick up Tuso eggs without the need for Gachas!
If you find a beached squid on crystal isles, get a turtle. They’ll Argo and pick it up instantly
If you want to tame a tuso (you will at some point) bring a high health turtle and at least 100 black pearls (silica pearls don’t work) let the tuso grab the turt and go to the tusos mouth and feed it the pearls.
A mosasaurus with 20k HP will tank it without trouble, make sure you don’t get hit by its tentacles, reach its mouth and feed black pearls. Now you have the king of the ocean as a pet.
Use a gacha to produce tons of black pearls it's fast and less painfull then farming alphas
Use a plesio on following you. Ride the plesio to the tuso to get grabbed by the tuso. Feed tuso and using scuba flippers swim above repeat till done.
Warning: if on the switch make sure the black pearls do not stack when feeding. For example during an evo event one back pearl will tame the tuso 100% but if you feed it a stack of 8 it will only go up 1/3 of the way.
Solo tame is possible. Just gotta be good and have a plan before hand.
The guide says they spawn very inland please tell me if there’s a cave
I easily tamed a 140 with one turtle with 10k health and prim saddle and I just looked for one stuck on the beach
