I was upset to find out we can't grab wild creatures on official servers but I'm still happy with this tame. They produce oil in their inventory, hit like a truck, (best of all) immune to jellyfish. Now I have enough biotoxin to Botox all of Beverly Hills.

Power-wise they are basically the gigas of the sea

You can easily kill other tusos and alpha tusos with a decent level one yourself. Just stay above their ascension limit and attack from above. A wild tuso cannot grab a tamed tuso.

The reason why it doesn’t have a platform saddle is because it doesn’t have bones or a back. Like if it had a back, it would have a platform saddle because the back can actually carry weight and it has bone to support. But the tuso doesn’t have a back or bones. Imagine you were boneless and you only had arms and a head, and you had to swim with a block of concrete on your face.

Add a timer for how long tusos must hold on to things to nockout

Most things people don’t know about the tuso… they can mate and you get a weird looking egg, hatches in the water but when placed on land it will instantly disappear. Found that out the hard way…

Don’t need to feed it to heal. Grab creatures instead. Took me way too long to figure this out. Grab a dunkly and heal half your health pool in a minute.

If you are looking to tame high levels, but find low levels, just kill the low levels, the loot is also good, black pearls, which is also used to tame the tuso.

When tamed you should be able to grab enemy ships and drag them into the water

If your ever riding a tuso when it's dark and pitch black in the middle of the night even with your gamma turned right up and still can't see throw a few glow sticks on the front of the tuso and it works like headlights

To the person who asked how it's non violet, it means it's a non violent tame, meaning that you don't knock it out, it's a passive tame so you don't hurt it to tame it, it hurts you.

When breeding a tuso remember that you cant Pick up the egg.

It's useful for killing anything under water beacuse of its damage and it's good for getting around from its speed

screw all the water tames up until this one. f the progression of itchy, meg, etc. tame a turtle, get one, fearlessly explore anywhere in the ocean. they are so easy to get and such a solid tame. i refused to venture to the ocean because i always died to jellyfish (apparrently apex predators in ark) but now i laugh at the silly jellies with the might of my squid! up so new players can see and start their own ocean exploring
