Encountering Tips

How do I kill a tusoteuthis? tusoteuthis battling strategies in ARK: Survival Evolved.
Don't be mean, it just wants a hug might kill you but aye at least you made someone's day
They are easier to find while riding a raft, having a monkey on your shoulder, and having a beard. It is recommended to have a big raft that looks like a pirate ship. The ship must have cannons.

If you have spent a really long time looking for one then it could possibly be because there are to many wild dinos in your world which means you need to go on a huge killing spree to open up some spots for the Tuso or any other Dino you can’t find to be able to spawn

This noodle monster destroyed my lvl 46 itchy in under 5 seconds and didn’t even let me get its stuff back. After trying to kill it in my rage it decides to run when it’s health gets low. Now I kill any tuso I find for revenge.
R.I.P Fish bait-2021
When the tusoteuthis grabs you you can avoid its attacks by firing an arrow at its beak during the attack
When Ark says that the unicorn is the rarest creature. That’s a lie. At least the unicorn spawns. This thing is supposed to. I have spent the last week living in a pearl cave in their spawn hotspot and have not seen evidence of a single one. Reply to me @Tofuna
Be extra careful around them, when exploring the sea caves, as they can grapple your dino (even your mosasaurus).
KILL IT WITH FIRE.
Please do not go into the new water cave before they fix this invisible squid lost two high lvl Spinos
Get a cryopoded turtle, when your mosa gets into a battle with the hentai master, uncryopod your turtle. The tuso will grab your turtle. Then you can attack it
When not having this guy yet and you hop on your mosa, there’s a high chance they’ll suddenly spawn a couple yards away from you. What’s scary is that this guy, although should stay only on the Deep Ocean region is able to cross the barrier (on mobile at least, I do not know for the others) and is as fast as an encumbered(not red, not really encumbered, as in not even over 90% encumbered) mosasaurus. Wherein in mobile, the plesiosaurs are the fastest(it seems) with mosas second and this guy. Not even a speed-trained icthy will be able to outrun it. All are as fast or even faster than the giga on land. Scary if you have no plan to tame it. Can grab mosas, nearly every creature except the basilosaurus and some others. Don’t escape up, escape linearly from where you came from. Let it get stuck between every rock you know. I encountered my first tuso a few days ago. Traumatized by the speed, good thing’s I’m on my mosa and ran away. It is way, way bigger than a damn mosa. Seriously scary.
Today, I Lost A Brave Soul. My Itchythosaurus Fought Brave. As the Squid Grabbed Him, I Watched My Dolphin Cry Out. As Soon as the Living Demon Was Done With My Itchy, He grabbed Me. One thing lead to another, I Lost Hard Work On A Pursuit, And My Best Itchy Friend.

To see literal hell go to the absolute left spot on Ragnarok and go to the center of that ocean. They're E V E R Y W H E R E in that trench.
I was wondering how long do they grab you for.
I was trying to knock out a dunkleosteus to tame I got grab by one kill me and my tame
The Tuso is often something to fear by many new players and for most other players who have never tamed a Tuso or even have ever encountered one before. If you are looking to tame one, use black pearls to feed them (prime meat can also work though it will take longer to tame). If you see one, it will usually have a description saying “does not want to be tamed right now “. This means you will need any other smaller tame you have. The use of the already owned creature will be used as a sacrifice (bait). Make sure the Tuso aggro’s and attempts to grab the tame and not you! As soon as the Tuso gets a hold of the tamed creature by grabbing it, it will deal lots of damage to it. But in the process of the Tuso grabbing the tame, it’s time for the taming process of the Tuso to begin. Come up to the side of its head where there is no hit box and feed it black pearls which have to be located in your hot bar.(This is a passive tame so the use of trinks will not work). Feed the Tuso when it feels hungry again. Note: you may need multiple tamed creatures set on passive for this because the will kill even some of your stronger creatures. After you keep doing this procedure you have a Giant, Colossal body guard that can kill anything in the seas. Good luck adventure.
There I am, swimming around in the oceans depths after putting it off for way too long.. tamed some cute dolphins and all was well.....
Then out of nowhere this craken thing just grabs me and squished me to death!
If you wanna survive thing thing, bring an "expendable" tame for it to grab, then either run for your life or tempt your fare and try to tame it.
Good luck, and RIP all my water Bois, I will avenge you!
You tame one you find one out side your door somehow on land
There is always one south of carno island but becarful it likes to hide behind the rocks down there i learned the hard goodbye lvl 215 sarco
