If you play on crystal isles you can feef them beached where you would find tropical wyverns alone the edge of the map.

Honestly, mosas are better then turtles, when I tried to tame this with a turtle two of my turtles died, however my ONE mosa could take it on with absolutely no problems, between feeds just feed it fish meat

How to get you one the best water tame on ASA right now I guess :

1. Get yourself a nice angler fish, pretty easy knock-out tame founded pretty much in any deep sea water.

2. Find some water scorpions guys (eurypterids) to violently exterminate with your new and improved angler boy.

3. Cry because it's takes a lot of time (not rly I'm just impatient)

4. Get to 50 black pearls (eurypterids usually drop between 0-4 at a time).

5. Find a good Squid guy to tame. They are usually found in deep sea water like anglers, pretty rare dudes.

6. To start taming it, you need to get a creature in his grasp, to do that simply get any creature that can be grab by this guy and attack it, just try to get one with high enough health because it could die in the process (Sarcos, Megalodons and Turtles are great for this).

7. Get your 50 black pearls in your last slot like for any other passive tames, unmount your tame and start to swim to his beak mouth.

8. Feed it the black pearls and there you got your kraken!

Note : 50 pearls is enough for ANY level, except maybe if you have 150+ lvl dinos spawning idk.

So if it is beached bring a whip (you can also punch but whip is better) bring a turtle and black pearls. You need to punch it into the water and Agro on the turtle and you can tame it.

Go to Ragnarok at cords, 5, 45. (5 on bottom, 45 on left.) Swim down, then there is a full on Tuso trench. 5x Taming instant tames them by the way.

Kill squids to tame squids. Basilosaurus are there weakness

Find the highest level you can on the island if you have soothing balm because the max level just needs 1 50 black pearls to get tamed if soothing balm is activated

Turtles are good becuase their sheep protects agianst damage but anything works

Go to 45 lat, 5 long on Rag. There are so many. I saw 3 in a couple of seconds. Hope this helps.

You can find them glitched on the surface of Crystal Isles usually by the redwoods or the tropical wyvern area. This makes taming one extremely easy as you no longer need an aquatic tame or scuba gear. You will most likely need a cyro pod to get them back to deeper water though.

Easiest place to find these are crystal isles. There are often beached tuso on the ocean surfaces near the dessert area of the map. Tame a turtle, hit the tuso once while mounted when it pulls you off and is still grabbing your turtle go near it's mouth between the tentacles and feed it black pearls (it will eat 50 pearls everytime) When it releases your turtle just rinse and repeat until it's tamed. I recommend either put full points in health for the turtle or bring a healer (snow owl/daedon) and heal it when its low.

The maewing is where it's at for 2022 tuso taming, high health mae, fast enough to get away from anything in the ocean.

You wanna tame a tanky dino because it does lots of damage an dont get garbbed or else your dead

Taming with a turtle is such an unnecessary hassle. Just use a passive Spino with good health, a good saddle, and if possible, some movement speed. 1. It’s faster and more manoeuvrable than a turtle. 2. If u die while feeding the Tuso pearls, the spino won’t get killed it’ll just float straight to the top when the squid detaches.

I saw this for the first time when I was riding on my ichthy. It was level 300. So I thought I should tame it but I changed my mind because it needs so much black pearls and black pearls are so rare. But now I want it and I can’t find it.

Want to tame one of these as practically your first tame? It's pretty simple.

1. Go to Rag and get black pearls off the coast

2. Go to gen 2

3. Do any easy race mission such as Slide and Glide or Circuit chase and then buy a cryopod from HL-NA

3. Tame a medium level turtle and cryo it

4. Go into the underwater ocean and find a Tuso

5. Throw out the turtle and get on it far away from the tuso but close enough to aggro it onto you

6. Give the squid the turtle and feed him the pearls. Repeat if need be

Side note: This method is extremely easy but much easier if it's on a 3x taming event as most squids up to Level 140 will be tamed in 50 black pearls, Meaning you only need to tame 1 turtle

Just used a shadowmane on gen2 Nd it deals with the tuso pretty well, very well actually. I'm honestly using the shadowmanes from now on for the tuso to grab Nd bonus is you can be outside of the trap whilst doing it
