A high health mosa works well. Make sure it's on passive and on follow.

Don’t bother with a turtle if solo, it swims up too slowly when following and will get recaught until it dies. I’ve had better luck with a dunkleo with a good saddle, they have the ability to swim up vertically unlike the turtle and disengage from the squid when following easily. Just let squid grab passive dunkleo, jump off and feed squid and then swim up with dunkleo following you. Easiest when done at the squids height limit. Makes for an easy solo tame.

The timer on tuso feeding times doesn’t not change to 7 and a half minutes when 2x is applied.

Can be tamed solo if you are fast enough. The second it grabs your tame, jump off and feed it. It will let go of your tame. Then simply remount and kite it around until it’s ready to feed again. Rinse and repeat!

Do not attempt to tame if it was recently aggroed to a tribemate other than the one being used as bait. It will say it does not want to be tamed right now, it will not let go even if it reaches low enough health to ink, and you will either have to kill it or lose your tame. Let it wander around for a moment before you try.

You don't. Just no. Really bad idea. No matter what you try it will kill you.

Go naked on a high level mosa with 50 pearls get grabbed jump off and feed have your mosa following a basi it will swim right back to it after being released have a boat with a few beds and just die respawn and repeat just keep your pearls on either your mosa or basi easy to solo tame and the best thing to use in the sea

Use a plesi with a good saddle. Damage squid slightly (it will hold onto things longer to regain its health, otherwise it can let go whilst feeding) whistle plesi near and let it get grabbed. Swim into mouth and feed. Swim up whistle plesi. Repeat.

Centre. South west of skull island.

Good spawn but inevitably they spawn/glitch into the terrain and are lost forever. Or until server refresh

Beware many servers are having a glitch where tuso grabs your tame and either glitches with it or will only eat once and permanent hold your tame until you kill it. We all know how wildcard likes to ignore game breaking glitches and what not lol. So much for water specialization when we can't even tame our dinos

You can literally tame this solo, I did on official. Without having to build a trap.

Spino with good saddle. Passive. Get grabbed, feed, swim like hell. Spino will meet you at the surface shortly. (I use a mosa to hold all pearls as it's weight is higher)

Sacrifice a tame, and when it's attached go to its mouth and feed it black pearls

I solo tame my squids with my mosa. If it has at least 20 k health it should be fine. Can't you a platform saddle due to glitches. Make sure mosa is on passive and follow. After you feed it swim up and the squid will let the mosa go and it will follow you up. About 8 minute feeding interval

I timed the feeding and it's not 13 minutes. I was able to feed every 7 minutes on official with normal settings.

Don't tame one then try taking on 3 Alpha Mosa at the same time

Basilosaurus are great at helping to tame these as they can't be grappled and are hard to kill.
