So here was my location and the reason I hate troodons. I'm on herbivore island. In the east waits two alpha raptors. The west has three packs of troodons acting literally like guards. And the north has an alpha raptor. I'm stuck on herbivore island 🤣. I can't even hit the troodons with my torch I hate their glowing eyes it makes it so much worse. I have finally gotten a raptor. But THE TROODONS REMAIN. I'm getting a carbonemys army lol.

The worst tame ever! Taming one is sacrificing your dinos! It not worth it unless you are taming ever creatures in ark.

Don't use wyvern to tame. They're worth a lot of xp but it won't attack a knocked out one and my weakened poison wyvern at 156 hp killed the level 140 troodon.

I'm pretty sure none of the people writing these posts have ever tamed a Troodon. I say this because none of them have mentioned some of the awesome scouting skills of the creature. With that said, here's some things you should know. I tamed a level 15 a few minutes ago. To do it in one shot I fed it a level 100 crystal waveren on neutral. First I took the health down to about 50. Im on a pve server so I used a combination of jumping off cliffs and a nearby wild animal. Then I went to the troodon. And got it agroed attacking the wavren (had a buddy help). I watched the wavrens health until the last second and dismounted and the final bite and kill tamed the troodon. You cannot be sitting on the sacrifice and it must be in neutral. Just a bit before I attempted a level 55 troodon with a level 224 wavren with only a 88% tamed. Before I could get another wavren out of cryo to finish the tamed it lost all 88%. Good Luck!

My buddy and I tamed a high level Spino and started walking it home as we were new and had no saddle. We lose sight of it for a few seconds and BLAME."killed by trodon". One millisecond later "trading killed by trodon". We didn't know thats how it worked and were thoroughly confused.

If you're alone at night these things can be deadly, during the day time they aren't as bad just don't go near them. If you have a decently strong army of dinos with you your dinos will very easily kill them, even groups of them. (My level 40 direbear and level 170 PT killed 4 at once and just in time before I died.

They're the 3rd most annoying creature in ark the 1st annoying creature in ark is micro raptor becuase they knock you off your tame make your tame run away and stun you. 2nd is raptor also if you see my nickname indoraptor in dododex that's me

Chicken with glowing eyes,can easily knock you out in a single hit

They are excellent for base defense and A pack of them can work well as a pocket giga

Dangerous although able to knock out with your fists if you have high damage then find a parasaur kill it then put alot of meat in its inventory and you will have the strongest dino ever in my server one time i was with my lvl 85 Raptor and i had my lvl 26 Troodon i rode on my Raptor and ordered my troodon to attack this lvl 52 Trike and he mopped it

If one of them attack you, just hit it with a torch. He will go away.

I hate these things. My lvl 14 raptor was going on a hunt with me. We try to finish the hunt but a pack of raptors were blocking the way. So we push forward. During a pachy tame a monkey wouldn't shut up so razor chases it... INTO A PACK OF 7 TROODONS. The troodons killed me and I'm taming a pteranodon to save razor (the pachy survived) #SaveRazor

Got raided by a guy that had a ton of them even a level 329 Rex and a 237 giga didn’t stand a chance against 4 level 180s DONT APPROACH THESE LITTLE FUCKERS (Athena 1/1/16-11/23/17)and (The Hulk 3/18/16-11/23/17) They will be missed 😢

Flak doesnt help, you need riot gear for help with torpor.
